The Verdict

Johnny's mind blanked out after the screen showing a string of messages disappeared, and he felt his body become weightless.

He was very much conscious, or so he thought, but he couldn't see a thing. Johnny wasn't sure if he was just in a dark place, or his eyes were closed.

Calming down a little, his mind swirled with a chain of weird thoughts, and he realized something. He couldn't feel his body.

'Am I in the afterlife?' He thought melancholily. 'Is this what it looks like?… so lonely?'

These thoughts lingered in his mind for a few seconds, before his vision began to clear, a whitish thin substance falling from his eyes.

Johnny's eyes adapted to the surroundings, and he found himself floating in the wide expanse of space, millions of blinking stars and various celestial bodies surrounding him. He panicked, his eyes widening to the point his eyeballs would have fallen off had he not shut his eyes tightly right after.

He shook his head vigorously, seemingly trying to shake off the scenery he just found himself in. Johnny felt overwhelmed, scared and so… insignificant.

Compared to the magnificent and humongous heavenly bodies he had just seen, he was merely a tiny being whose existence wasn't worth noticing.

How had he gotten there? Was this where the souls of the dead were dumped? In space?

Different thoughts, wild, disturbing answers.

Johnny opened his eyes slowly, wanting to see the cosmic objects again. Suddenly, however, his vision blurred as his body was taken forward at an incredible speed by an unseen force.

There was no wind to feel any resistance, not that he was going to feel any since his body had lost all feelings. Even if he was going to feel something, it was definitely pain, because how was he still alive in space? What was protecting his body from crumbling?

More disturbing thoughts.

Johnny was sure his speed went beyond the speed of sound, but there was, once again, no air to cause the natural effects it would have caused on earth.

He crossed a distance that would have taken light-years to do so, and after moving for what one might consider, just ten seconds, he came to a sudden halt, all his momentum killed in an instant.

The pain of the stop didn't come, probably because he still couldn't feel anything. His eyes opened up, and he looked around.

Johnny had closed his eyes due to the sight of stars, planets, meteorites alike, speeding past him as he moved. His mind couldn't track such swift movements, making him feel dizzy, so he forced his eyes close.

As he opened them now, though, he was welcomed to another scene that might scare everyone shitless, Johnny included.

Surrounding him from all sides were what looked like rows of seats in a gladiator arena, only that everything was made of a black iron and not stone.

Sitting on those seats were hooded figures, all looking eerily similar in the way they sat motionlessly.

The fact that the rows of seats floated in space, with each of them sitting there and waiting patiently for something, made for a scary picturesque.

Johnny didn't know what they might have been waiting for, but he dared not speak. He was too scared to say a word.

Johnny's eyes wandered around, and it settled on the place where he assumed the individual they were waiting for was supposed to be.

He thought back to the three screens he had seen, and his mind processed the information.

'A hearing?' he thought, only for his rhetorical question to be answered by a voice.

"Yes, you have been summoned here for a hearing," the voice said, its melodic sound drifting into his ears and making his mind go blank for a second.

Johnny hurriedly looked up, and he caught the glimpse of an alluring figure just before she sat down, the iron desk obstructing his view.

'A red tail with a sharp pointed tip, short black horns, small, black bat-like wings at the waist level, a shape curvier than Kim Kardashian and Nicki Minaj combined, and wearing revealing, string clothing.'

"Stupid mortal," the Succubus sitting on the throne of iron ahead spoke, her voice once again making Johnny's mind go blank for a second. "Your life is at stake, yet you have the audacity to be checking me out… kneel!"

Johnny felt a strong headache hit him suddenly, and he dropped to his knees, blood pouring out of his orifices.

"You disgust me," the Succubus said, her voice dripping with venom and disgust.

"You not only dirtied my daughters, but you cursed them, slowing their progress considerably and ruining my plans,"

"I don't know why you have such strong mental strength even," she commented, her voice no longer carrying its disgust as she stated at Johnny in amusement. "What should have taken you two seconds had taken eleven, slowing me down at the same time too,"

The Succubus smiled. "You can be put to good use," she said. "Since you have a debt to pay up, why not become my Hero?"

Johnny was in pain, which wasn't so nice, since it was the first thing he felt after losing all his senses —excluding his sight— after a minute or so. He didn't hear what the Goddess of Lust had said due to the pain, but suddenly, the pain was gone, and he was standing upright, his head raised.

"I wouldn't want my toy to be injured now, would I?" The Succubus said, her fangs elongating slightly as she licked her lips.

The Goddess of Lust stood up and slammed her petite arms on the iron desk, her aura pouring out of her being en masse.

"This is my Verdict!" She began, her voice echoing throughout space.

"Johnny Michaels, the Earthling, has been found guilty of placing a curse on my daughters."

"HUU!!" The hooded figures on the rows of seats suddenly said loudly, their voice traveling farther than the Goddess of Lust's. They stood up simultaneously and raised their arms, interlocking it as a red and black magic circle began forming before their hands.

Things were getting intense, and Johnny was getting scareder by the second.

"He will become my hero as punishment, and will serve our cause!"

"HUU!!"

"He shall be taken into the world of Tenria, the 5 Star world overrun by evil!"

"HUU!!"

The magic circles size and light intensity multiplied.

"And as a little gift on my part for serving as my hero… the Harem Matrix System shall be forcefully imparted on him!"

"HUU!!"
