The Height Of Hostility.

Types of Civilizations

Type 1 Civilization: A civilization that can utilize 100% of every energy source available on its planet.

Type 2 Civilization: One that can harness 100% of the energy available in its solar system.

Type 3 Civilization: A civilization capable of utilizing 100% of the energy from around one million stars in its vicinity.

Type 4 Civilization: One that can tap 100% of the energy from around one billion stars in its region.

Type 5 Civilization: A civilization that can harness 100% of the energy of its entire galaxy—even absorbing the energy contained in black holes.

In a similar manner, there are many more types of civilizations, which we will learn about in later chapters.

There was another planet called Planet Arkaan, located about 468 light years from our Earth. This planet was very prosperous, and its technology was roughly 10,000 years ahead of Earth's. On this planet, everyone had their own artificial intelligence, and each person possessed a personal teleportation device for travel that could transport them to any location on Planet Arkaan. However, this device did not work for travel to other planets. Furthermore, everyone also owned an Iron Man–like suit that could take them into space and even carry them to any other exoplanet within their solar system.

(You might be wondering why people cannot use the teleportation device to travel to other planets. The simple reason was that Planet Arkaan had an enemy planet existing in another solar system, and the people of Arkaan were determined not to let anyone else benefit from their device.)

Regarding the Iron Man–like suit, it was equipped with comprehensive life-saving systems so that if any malfunction occurred, the suit could keep its wearer alive for a while—long enough for timely assistance to be dispatched from the R-com Planet.

In this solar system there were about five Goldilocks planets, all under the control of the people of Planet Arkaan, because they were the first to become powerful and had prevented any other intelligent life from emerging on those planets. Moreover, these people looked exactly like humans; if an Earthling and an Arkaan native were seen together, one would not be able to tell which was Homo sapiens and which was an Arkaan human. In other words, these beings could simply be called humans.

These people were very prosperous, but that did not mean they never faced challenges. In fact, in a neighboring solar system—fictionally named Capler 100—the inhabitants were just as advanced as those of Planet Arkaan. That solar system also had multiple exoplanets, and whenever one planet dominated over the others, it was known as Marcus. There was deep enmity between the people of Marcus and those of Planet Arkaan, as both sides sought to control the neighboring solar systems. Consequently, fierce battles between these two planets were frequent, and even today, such warfare continues.

Today, the higher authorities of Marcus Planet had deployed their third-tier force—comprising star-level warriors—in the war against Planet Arkaan. In our novel, you will later discover how cultivation evolves. All these star-level warriors were led by a boy who was said to be 30 years old, though he actually appeared to be only 18 or 19. He looked extremely formidable, dispatching anyone who came before him with ease. His name was Victor Holmes, and his cruelty was clearly evident in his actions.

Enraged, after having slain all his surrounding enemies, he shouted, "Aryan, where have you hidden? Look, I have come to your planet to kill you—come and face me!" His voice reached far into space, thanks to a special device through which his message was transmitted all the way to Planet Arkaan. In fact, Victor Holmes was in space at that moment, and to stop him and all his companions from descending upon Planet Arkaan and wreaking havoc, the authorities of Planet Arkaan had deployed their army in space.

It was not that the people of R-com Planet were unable to kill him—they could have—but the higher authorities of Planet Arkaan and Planet Marcus had decided that for every powerful warrior one planet sent against the other, an equally powerful warrior would be deployed in return. This was to prevent the powerful fighters of both planets from clashing with one another, which would have inflicted heavy losses on both civilizations and possibly set back their progress by several years—an outcome they could not afford.

Victor's voice was being heard in the war room of Planet Arkaan as well. Seated on the most luxurious chair in the center of the room, one man remarked, "I don't understand why this boy hates Aryan so much. I suspect he may have bribed the higher authorities of Planet Marcus in some way to agree to attack our planet so that he can kill Aryan." He continued, "And besides, it seems the boy has greatly increased his own strength—he now believes he can easily defeat Aryan. Otherwise, he would never have had the nerve to openly issue such a warning."

The man speaking was none other than the Emperor of Planet Arkaan, Robert Evans. Although Robert appeared to be only 22 or 23 years old, he had actually been alive for thousands of years, his true age nearing 5,000. Listening to this, another man seated nearby—who looked notably serious—said, "Yes, Your Majesty, you are right. This boy is overstepping his bounds, but he does not realize that Aryan is on the verge of tremendous success. At any moment, Aryan could reach star level, and then he will defeat this brat in no time." This man was General Richard Nixon of the Arkaan Army, who cared deeply for Aryan.

It was because of this support that Aryan had become a soldier in the Arkaan Army at the age of 12, even though the minimum age required was 16. Aryan had always been exceptional in cultivation; he reached the Planet level at merely 12—a truly remarkable achievement. Consequently, no one objected to his recruitment, although many secretly resented his inclusion because he was far more talented than their own children and was seen as usurping opportunities meant for them. Still, with both the Emperor and General Nixon firmly backing him, no one dared act against Aryan—though some vowed that someday they would teach him a lesson.

Upon hearing Richard's words, one older man in the group snorted and said, "He isn't inherently that powerful; we've simply given him extra resources. If any of my own descendants received the same, they would be just as formidable. So what is so extraordinary about a boy becoming this powerful at such a young age?" Richard then admonished him, "What are you saying? You should know that Aryan isn't even 16 yet—and he is already this strong. Just imagine how much stronger he will become as he grows older, and how beneficial he will be for us."

In response, the older man retorted, "General, you may be right, but do not forget that the boy is not from our planet. I don't believe we should expend so many resources on someone from another world. Who knows—tomorrow he might even become a threat to our own planet." Enraged, the General glared and said, "What nonsense are you spouting, Mahesh? Even though the boy isn't one of us by birth, he has risked his life for our planet time and again—and on many occasions, he nearly died when he didn't receive timely medical assistance. I suspect you resent him simply because he is extraordinarily talented, depriving your own descendants of proper opportunities. You must understand that no matter how much we quarrel among ourselves, we are all bound to this planet. Anyone who serves our planet's interests will have the full support of both me and the Emperor. And you should not claim a shortage of resources when none of your own have reached the level Aryan has at such a young age."

Richard continued, "Just think—by my estimation, Aryan will reach star level within a few days or perhaps a month. We must support him because once he becomes powerful, we will crush Planet Marcus in no time. He added, "As you all know, Aryan can easily fight and defeat even those stronger than him, and you must not forget that although he is an alien, he has always lived by our planet's rules and regulations. Even though he has only spent five or six years on our planet, we know he is a principled young man who will never betray us. If he stands with us, no matter which world he comes from, he is one of us. And do not forget that Aryan is the only boy who possesses the power of all 5 elements(water, earth, wind, fire and space these fiber core elements in this universe and all supplements are born from these five elements)—enabling him to create countless sub-elements."

At these words, Mahesh—whose full name was Mahesh Manjrekar and who was one of the most influential figures on Planet Arkaan—fell silent. He had hated Aryan from the very beginning, yet he had never been able to do anything against him because both the Emperor and General Richard Nixon supported Aryan. Still, Mahesh had vowed that someday he would teach Aryan a lesson.

Upon hearing General Nixon's remarks, Mahesh said, "General, you are right, but remember that the boy is not from our planet. I don't think we should invest so many resources in a boy from another world—what if he becomes a threat to us tomorrow?" In response, the General angrily retorted, "What nonsense are you saying, Mahesh? Even though he is not one of us by birth, he has risked his life many times fighting for our planet and has nearly died on several occasions without timely medical assistance. I understand you might resent him because his talent overshadows that of your own descendants, but you must realize that despite our internal conflicts, we are all connected by this planet. Anyone who benefits our planet will receive the full support of the Emperor and me. You should not complain about resource abundance when none of your own have reached the level Aryan has attained at such a young age."

Richard Nixon's words fell on deaf ears with Mahesh, who then remained silent. After a while, in a subdued tone, Richard said, "Emperor, please forgive me for speaking out of turn," and shortly thereafter, Mahesh also apologized. The Emperor dismissed both of them, saying, "We are under attack right now. You two, acting like bickering stray animals, must be quiet. We must focus on how to overcome this crisis. Aryan is currently in a critical state—he cannot join the battle at this moment because he is striving to reach star level. And as soon as he does, he will immediately kill Victor, for he once told me that he was determined to attain star level at any cost so that he could put an end to Victor's saga once and for all. Over the past two years, although Aryan has defeated Victor in nearly 50 encounters, Victor now intends to eliminate Aryan. That is why Victor has led such a powerful army—to kill Aryan before our planet is blessed with a powerful warrior."

The Emperor continued, "In fact, if I wished, I could send another warrior of a different level. But I know that in such a situation, Planet Marcus might also dispatch one of their fighters to counter us, and that would only make the battle even more devastating. That is why we have allowed Victor the opportunity to wreak havoc—because if he acts on even the slightest provocation, Planet Marcus will seize the chance to destroy Planet Arkaan, something we absolutely cannot allow. Although Planet Arkaan is powerful, its people know that Planet Marcus is equally formidable, and this battle would result in equal losses for both. As a peace-loving planet, we have resolved never to engage in warfare with another world until our own home is in dire straits—because the economic losses from such conflict would be unbearable."

At that moment, the Emperor was deeply worried because he did not know where Aryan was—Aryan had only informed the General that he was heading into space to attain star level in order to gain further insight.

While Planet Arkaan was embroiled in war, far away from it—in a completely different atmosphere within one of its vessels—a boy was sitting in the lotus position with his eyes closed. Around him, a group was shielding him from the sun's heat. Although he could easily withstand the sun's rays, because he was deeply immersed in his meditation at that time, he had decided to avoid most of the sun's direct impact.

Hovering near the boy was a girl who appeared to be around 11 or 12 years old and was very cute. This boy was none other than Aryan Chauhan, and the girl accompanying him was his AI—a guide in cultivation. Aryan had accepted the teachings of her former master as his own.

Aryan was an ordinary boy from Earth who had accidentally been teleported to Planet Arkaan one day. Even he did not know how it had happened. He had materialized inside a cave on Planet Arkaan, and it was there that he met the girl—an Artificial Intelligence named Meera—who had been waiting for a special student for her master for a very long time. Meera's master had been killed in battle; he had been so far ahead in strength that when he died, he sent Meera to Planet Arkaan with the instruction that one day, when a boy suddenly arrived, she was to take him on as his disciple.

Honoring her master's words, Meera had remained in hibernation on Planet Arkaan for countless years. The moment Aryan reached the cave, her eyes opened, and she immediately offered him the opportunity to become her master's student—a proposal Aryan accepted with some hesitation. Overjoyed by his acceptance, Meera endowed Aryan with a vast array of resources, and within five to six years he neared star level. As it appeared that today he was on the verge of reaching star level, Meera carefully monitored every tiny change in him so that she could assist if necessary. However, her help was hardly needed—though Aryan was only 15 years and 9 months old, he was exceptionally intelligent and grasped everything after just one explanation.

At that moment, energy was emanating from Aryan's body while the sun's heat penetrated him. This process accelerated with time; after approximately three hours, a distinct and powerful pressure suddenly emerged from his body. Gradually, the pressure subsided, and Aryan's eyes snapped open. When Meera saw this, she was overjoyed and said, "Congratulations—at last you have reached star level! But there's more good news: Victor has arrived on Planet Arkaan to kill you. He has already launched his attack on our planet."

Upon hearing this, Aryan, feigning anger, retorted, "Meera, you are so cruel! Someone has come to kill me, and you call that good news? Aren't you ashamed of teasing your master's student like this?" Meera burst into laughter and replied between chuckles, "I find it good news because now you will not just defeat him—you will kill him. Out of the 50 battles between you two, you have won 45 times, while he has won only 5 times, and even those victories were achieved through a special artifact provided by his planet's regime that made him temporarily very powerful. If I wanted, I could also give you such artifacts, but I want you to defeat him on your own. Not only must you defeat him, but you must kill him, for he has lost all restraint. After that, you know that you will have to forego all your current cultivation levels so that you can further strengthen your base.

"With your present abilities you can only reach the galactic level. If you wish to go beyond that, you will have to further enhance your capabilities—and for that you must invest your star-level strength in bolstering your base, even if it depletes your power. Once you do so, you will easily leave this universe behind and become so powerful that you could annihilate it in a single stroke."

After hearing Meera's words, Aryan understood exactly what he needed to do. He would first eliminate Victor and then leave this planet, for he knew that he had made many enemies here who would stop at nothing to kill him if they discovered he had grown weak—and Aryan did not want that. In fact, he had already arranged his escape from Planet Arkaan; when he had first set foot here via the cave, he created a portal inside it through which he could depart.

There was one more thing: Aryan would need about two years to strengthen his base. For this purpose, Meera had created a separate dimension within the cave, where time flowed 200 times slower than in the outside world—meaning that one day outside was equivalent to 200 days within that dimension. Through this arrangement, Aryan only needed to remain in the dimension for three and a half days, after which his base would be fortified. However, once his base was strengthened, his level would revert to the initial stage of the Saint level—and he could do nothing about that, for he knew that if he did not fortify his base, he would never progress beyond the galactic level.

At that moment, Aryan had already stood up; the shield surrounding him had dissipated, and in the very next instant, he teleported to the very place where Victor was waiting.
