The Inception

The wind was blowing outrageously with a hint of warm, brisk haze, and the gentle sunlight seemed to be peeping through those well-arranged trees where a lake resides so magical beyond words to describe it.

"What is this place ?", said Arimielle with curious eyes.

Unknown of that place's value, she strolled past it, witnessing the Jude palace of the royal consorts, the palace famous for being one of the most luxurious and beautiful palaces after the Empress's palace.

The lingering branch of ivy on the stone walls of the palace, with the decoration of colored bricks, gavs it an ample appearance. It was surely an eye-catching architecture. One to behold a commoner, it looked enchanting, residing in it must be what top level comforts feels like.

Suddenly, there was a hectic energy in that beautiful place ... someone, it wasn't just someone but there seemed to be a group coming towards her. Before she could understand what was going on, she was being carried away. " It's the royal guards!." Mielle acknowledged.

Before her conscience could work , both of her hands were grabbed from the joints by some heavy armours and she was being forced out of that garden.

"Why are you dragging me away ?", She

queried as the sweat soaked her face and her knees got bruised due to the continuous dragging.

She was a commoner, moreover, a poor one; it was so worse that she could barely afford the three meals of a day, let alone getting an injury being treated at a good apothecary.

If by any chance she got wounded, she wouldn't have enough money to treat herself. That would trouble her work force by a lot.

"Stop dragging me!" she shouted as she tried to get rid of her hands from the royal guards. Her hands shaking violently attempting to get out of the grip. She was putting all of her muscle force out on her hand yet a mere untrained person was in no way enough to get out of the grip of royal knights.

" Tsk...You don't belong here ! Lowlife like you are supposed to be around the slums." , said Adrien, one of the royal guards. Spitting aside her as if she was a piece of dirty rag that they were being forced to even hold on to.

As soon as she was kicked off the place.

Arimielle histerically ran away from there with tears in her eyes and a heart full of nothing but hatred towards the nobles and the royalty.

She shouted, " I despise you, nobles! Why does there have to be such a hierarchy!!" The difference between the estates there was more than just oblivious, a hierarchy where the commoners were placed way below the nobels and the church. It was inevitable for a commoner to even dream of living a novel man's life.

Arimielle went to the lake street, the place where the commoners reside. It was an extremely busy area with chariots passing by merchants and businessmen seeking customers for their businesses, the maids going to work at certain residencies, and the hawkers announcing the sales going on within the market.

There was dusr everywhere and everyone looked busy yet who knows if they were actually busy or it was just a way to show off their hectic life which wasn't actually any of the hectic to begin with. Still, it was good to assume that it was a busy place.

There, she met her sister with sun-kissed locks and her eyes, which suffered from heterochromia, having colors of amethyst and light jet. She was adorned in an emerald robe with brown laces going around her back like the vascular bundles of a tree. That was an ordinary fabric but it sure looked mesmerizing on her.

"Who are you?" asked her sister, Arabella, with a clear sign on her face that she had no idea whom she was talking to as if the person standing in front of her was a mere stranger.

"You don't remember me? How could you not remember me? How can you just forget your own sister ?" Arimielle said with her tired face. Her eyes looked so drunk, as if everyone was considering her a nobody now; the disbelief was very clear on her face.

Arabella's pov:

I was defeated and killed by the mercenary king. How am I still alive and who is she? What is this place? I remember being in the Ophelia den . How did I end up here ?

What possibly could have happened for me to end up here ?

I remember seeing a brooch , a golden one .

Suddenly, Arabella's mind got heavy and she started seeing some notes around her .

You have a gift bestowed upon you by your generational ancestors to relive a life where you died of regret . Arabella Rie Dicorgio , the elves have given you the hidden water of the Eiden lake ; go and take your vengeance and die with no regret .

[Keep in mind Arabella , this is a terminal ability , it'll end as soon as your regret dies]

Arabella was gratified yet distateful of this ability . She sighed and pondered, "Atleast I've got a life to live ; I will try to live it to my fullest or atleast with some peace. I will still have to keep some regret so that I don't die because of my ability. That was some pure absurdity, living a good life with regrets ... blasphemy!!"
