"Who are you? And why are you here?"
Aurienbergie asked him while helping him to get up. She had a questionable expression as very few people knew of that place, so how come actual breathing homo-sapiens were coming in at that place?
He didn't look like a commoner at all. Perhaps a high-ranking Nobel, she thought to herself.
But instead of just questioning her thoughts it seemed more relevant to hear the answer from the person in front of her.
"I am-"Before Eldon could finish his sentence, a loud thud noise came from behind those dense branches. The sound gradually fades into cusses and growls.
"Uhh- Dang it! It was all going so smoothly but I had to come and ruin it! What bullshit!!"
exclaimed Arabella while punching the ground continuously with her hands and trying to get up from the ground, but her leg got stuck in a bush.
"Don't just keep standing there. Help me!" she said demandingly while looking at the two, who were stunned by her performance.
Quickly, Eldon helped her to get up and dragged her to a far place where Aurienbergie would not be able to hear them.
"Why did you have to ruin my perfect moment?" he said angrily, putting his regret straight into his words .
"It wasn't my choice. I was trying to hear you two talking from behind when suddenly I stepped on that mud. I didn't know that there was mud out in the garden. And why are you blaming me? If only you were not struck in your thoughts and would have already asked her. Everything would be perfect!", justified Arabella that none of the things that happened were her fault.
"Stop yapping!" scolded Eldon as he was already pissed off by her actions, and now he was listening to her justifying it.
He thought of first going to Aurienbergie and completing his introduction rather than paying attention to Arabella. She looked fine and strong enough to take care of herself.
He ran towards Arabella to do what he wanted to do earlier, but as he arrived, he was quickly put onto a viva by Aurienbergie.
"WHAT HAPPENED TO HER? IS SHE OK? WHY ARE YOU BOTH HERE? WHAT IS GOING ON? AND WHO ARE YOU ALL?" she asked hurriedly, spitting the thoughts that were causing turmoil in her brain.
She had never ever encountered a single person in the garden. And now there was an act or should I say ' a scene' was going on over there. She needed answers to her questions at that moment.
"Did they perhaps find out about the secret of this place?" she pondered to herself as one of her eyes twitched. Her mind was giving her the doubtful consolation that they could not possibly know about it. It was not possible.
Before her thoughts took the best of her, Eldon answered, "I am Eldon Frenzi, the third-in-line to the patriarch of the Frenzi Marchioness family. I have no idea who she is and why she is here.".
He briefly gave her the answers. She already knew from the looks of him that he was a high-ranking Nobel, but she had no idea that it would be the Marchioness.
The mighty Frenzi family is rumored to be the third most powerful group in the entire empire, as they are said to be the ones that helped the empire grow its economy from dirt to sky.
She immediately spoke - "Greetings, young lord of Frenzi, Eldon Frenzi.".
Her graceful presence of etiquette showed that she was not a commoner either. Eldon thought of asking her about it, but he questioned his brain: what if this question upsets her? And he thought of continuing his answers about what he was doing there.
"I was on a trip to the adjacent kingdom, but then a group of bandits appeared out of nowhere, and we were ambushed. So, I started strolling and gradually found myself here.", he replied as well as questioning himself who possibly those bandits could be.
It wasn't the first time they were attacked, but this time, the bandits were strong enough to defeat the personal knights and cause a huge ruckus there. He had to contact The Marchioness and inform him about the incident that took place.
Maybe Aurienbergie would be of some help, and in that way,, he would also be able to spend some time with her. He thought as a faint smile appeared on his face.
"Where will you reside then?", she asked him with a sense of relief that he had no information about the place. And he was just a wandering passerby that somehow appeared there. Yet, she wasn't sure about the girl. She had to check on her.
"At a nearby inn.", he replied.
Aurienbergie nodded and smiled while going straight towards Arabella who was questioning her life decisions of being a nice person.
"Are you ok?", Aurienbergie asked her with a sign of worry on her face.
"Yes, thanks for checking on me.", Arabella answered, knowing something was hidden behind those sugarcoated words of hers.
She subsequently added to her reply - " What's the actual matter?".
Those greyish eyes of hers with enlarged pupils dilated a little at her questions, but soon, she regained her composure and came up with the most obvious answer.
"Oh, no one actually visits this place much, so I was a little concerned that you all might be some bad people. "
"Huh?? But we are not .. you don't have to worry about that." Arabella assured her, well aware of the fact that she was telling a lie, but it could have been possible that she was just naive.
"Ok then, enjoy yourself.", she smiled and went back to get her gardening tools.
Arabella's stomach let out a strong growl as if it craved grains at that time. She looked tired and it was quite funny to acknowledge.
"Are you by any chance hungry?", Aurienbergie questioned her while leaning her head towards the way indicating her to follow her.
Arabella walked aback, following Aurienbergie's footsteps, but that childish act was yet to be fulfilled with one more person missing.
" WAIT!! ", a sound came from behind.
