Chapter 5: A Day of Endless Affection

The morning sunlight filtered through the massive windows of the grand mansion, casting a golden hue over the luxurious bedroom. I slowly opened my eyes, feeling a warm, comforting weight around me. Mama's arms were wrapped protectively around me, and her steady heartbeat was the first sound I registered. She was still asleep, her elegant face peaceful as she held me close. It was a strange feeling—I wasn't used to waking up like this.

For so long, my mornings had been cold and lonely, but now, there was warmth surrounding me. Even though I wasn't sure how I felt about this new family, I couldn't deny the security I felt in Mama's embrace.

As I shifted slightly, her eyes fluttered open, and a gentle smile spread across her lips.

"Good morning, my sweet boy," she whispered, her voice filled with love.

I blinked at her, still not used to someone speaking to me in such a gentle tone first thing in the morning. My uncle used to yell at me to get up, his voice filled with impatience. This was different.

Before I could respond, the door to the bedroom burst open, and my sisters rushed in, their faces beaming with excitement.

"Baby brother!" Charlotte squealed, practically launching herself onto the bed. "Did you sleep well? Did Mama hog you all night?"

I barely had time to react before Olivia and Isabella climbed onto the bed as well, their excitement bubbling over. Mia and Emily followed, with Lily and Sophia right behind them, their smiles radiant. The massive bed was soon filled with their giggles and playful chatter as they surrounded me, their arms reaching out to hug and tickle me.

"He should have slept with us!" Mia pouted, crossing her arms. "Mama is too greedy."

"Exactly!" Emily agreed. "We didn't even get to kiss him goodnight!"

Mama chuckled, holding me closer. "He needed a peaceful night's sleep after everything he's been through. But don't worry, my loves. You will all get your time with him."

Even though I wasn't used to this much attention, there was something oddly comforting about their enthusiasm. They were so happy to see me, as if my presence alone was enough to brighten their day. It was overwhelming, yet... nice.

"Alright, alright, let him breathe!" Sophia finally said, gently pulling the others away. "Let's get him ready. We have a big day planned."

I looked at her warily. "A big day?"

Sophia nodded, stroking my hair. "You're going to spend the day with us at our workplaces! Since you're our little prince, it's only right that you see the worlds we've built."

My eyes widened. "All of them?"

"Not all at once," Mama said, kissing my forehead. "Today, you'll be visiting Sophia's company. She is one of the most powerful CEOs in the world, and everyone there is so excited to meet you."

I wasn't sure how to feel about that. Meeting strangers wasn't something I enjoyed, especially after everything that had happened. But seeing Mama and my sisters so eager, I couldn't bring myself to refuse.

After breakfast, where my sisters insisted on feeding me everything from pancakes to fresh fruit, I was dressed in a small custom-made suit. Charlotte had personally designed it, and she beamed with pride as I admired myself in the mirror.

"You look like a little prince!" she cooed, adjusting my tie. "Everyone at Sophia's company will absolutely adore you."

"I don't know about that..." I mumbled, still feeling nervous.

Sophia kneeled in front of me, cupping my cheeks gently. "You don't have to do anything, my love. Just be yourself. We are always here with you."

Holding her warm gaze, I felt a tiny bit of my hesitation fade. Maybe today wouldn't be so bad.

With Mama and all seven sisters by my side, I stepped into the waiting limousine, unaware that my new life was about to become even more extraordinary.
