Chapter 2: Heaven in distress

Meanwhile, in a realm above the mortal world…

The Buddha called an emergency meeting with every single god in existence. They all showed up and took their respective seats, facing the Buddha on his throne.

Hades quickly raised his voice, his face showing signs of irritation.

"I hope this meeting is extremely important, Buddha. Just because you're the one Father left in charge doesn't mean you can order us around and interrupt our work. Even though the rest won't say it, I'm not afraid to speak my mind."

Zeus, annoyed that Hades dared to raise his voice at Buddha, stood up from his chair and pointed at him.

"Watch your mouth, Hades! DON'T TALK TO BUDDHA LIKE THAT! At least show some respect!"

Hades stood up as well, facing Zeus. His face showed clear annoyance, and he clenched his fists.

"SHUT UP, ZEUS! I DON'T REMEMBER TALKING TO YOU! You do know your people will face death sometime, right? So if you don't want mass death over your people, you should shut up and stop interrupting others when they speak. You might be stronger than me, but nobody here is above anyone else!"

The two began yelling at each other, dragging other gods into the argument. Soon, the entire heavens trembled from their shouting and displays of power. Thunderstorms and abnormal weather patterns formed, and it seemed as if an all-out war between the gods was about to break out.

But suddenly, the Buddha raised his hand. The pressure from his mere gesture was so immense that it tore the sky open, suppressing every god present. The force sent shockwaves across all realms, causing earthquakes, and for a brief moment, reality itself shook.

"SILENCE!"

The Buddha's voice rang with absolute authority, and the gods quickly fell quiet. Many wore expressions of distress at the sheer power he had just displayed.

The Buddha's voice took on a commanding tone.

"I have summoned you here for an important matter. As you all know, Heaven took down Renox Keal in a final battle where all of creation fought against him and the demons. We even had to seek help from above. That was two million years ago."

Pangu raised his hand, and Buddha gave him a nod to speak.

"No offense, Buddha, but why are you bringing this up now? It has been two million years since he died. The maximum time for reincarnation is 2,000 years, and he didn't return. He has no known blood descendants, except for the demons, and they aren't much of a threat anymore. Most of them are either enslaved by humans or wasting away in hell.

Besides, we wiped it from the human world and erased every trace of it from existence. Sure, there's a way to access it in the human world, but humans don't even know it exists, and they fear triggering us again. The last time they did, they suffered divine punishment.

And even if we wanted to destroy it, we don't have permission from Father or Michael."

The Buddha responded, his voice filled with wisdom and authority.

"Pangu, I highly respect you. In fact, you are my favorite among the gods. But sometimes, you must listen before voicing your opinions.

The reason I bring up Renox now is because I received a prophecy. In 21 years, either he or someone with power equal to his will appear. This being will have the potential to gravely threaten our authority—or worse, expose our secrets to the light.

We cannot allow such a person to exist. The prophecy states that one will be born in the Demon Realm, while another will emerge in the Human Realm—someone who will grow to be indescribably strong… stronger than us, the gods."

The gods erupted into panic. Heaven itself trembled.

Ra, the Sun God, yelled, his body shaking in terror.

"WHY DON'T WE JUST KILL THE HUMANS AND DEMONS?! THEY HAVE CAUSED ENOUGH DISRUPTION, NOT JUST IN THIS UNIVERSE, BUT IN ALL OF EXISTENCE!"

Izanagi raised his hand in objection, anger flashing in his eyes.

"Humans are not yours to control, Ra! Why don't you try creating your own beings? Do you think it's easy to evolve them into your image with limited resources?!"

Shiva voiced his opinion as the room descended into chaos.

"I say we exterminate the demons. They have already caused enough damage!"

Suddenly, a dark presence filled the heavens. A tall figure stepped into the palace—it was Lucifer Morningstar. He smirked, his mischievous nature evident. Despite the turmoil shaking Heaven, he remained completely unfazed.

"Sorry for being late, Buddha. To be honest, I didn't even want to come—mostly because of how much I despise every single one of you.

I still don't understand why my brother Michael gets to exist on a higher plane, while I have to deal with you people..."

Lucifer sighed, rolling his eyes as he continued.

"The only reason I came here at all is because I sensed Heaven in distress. But now that I see the reason, I do agree—it is important.

However, I am not letting you kill or even touch any of my people. If you want them, you'll have to go through me and Lilith first."

Buddha, finally fed up with all the interruptions, raised his voice with even greater authority.

"SILENCE! I am not finished speaking. Any further interruptions will result in penalties over one's realm or universe!"

The gods immediately shut their mouths.

Buddha took a deep breath before continuing.

"I have reached a decision. Since the humans will be the ones to ultimately defeat this new being, we should empower them. I propose granting human royalty a significant magic boost. This will ensure the survival of the cosmos."

Lucifer immediately raised his hand, his expression filled with disgust.

"OBJECTION, BUDDHA!

Do you remember what happened the last time you gave humans a power boost? It was chaotic! You only gave them magic, and yet some of them gained enough strength to rival us, the gods!"

Many gods nodded in agreement, whispering among themselves, doubting whether Buddha was making the right decision.

Buddha exhaled deeply, looking exhausted. This was the biggest decision he had ever had to make.

"Do you have a better solution?"

The entire room fell silent.

After a moment, Buddha raised his hand.

"All in favor of my decision, raise your hands."

Slowly but surely, gods began lifting their hands. Lucifer kept his down, along with a few others. But the final count came to 122 in favor, 78 against.

Buddha stood up, lowering his hand.

"Very well then since the defeater of Renox keal or the being that is going to be a threat to the multiverse is a human their obviously going to be a human royal so to boost the chance of them being strong enough the Council of god's has decided to give,Human royal bloodlines a 60% magic boost to prepare them for the possible return of Renox Keal."
