Ian Night’s life was a joke—until it wasn’t.
Betrayed, discarded, and left with nothing, he welcomed death when it came. But fate had other plans.
Reborn in chains, Ian awakens as a slave in a world where power is dictated by bloodlines and magic.
While others wield fire and lightning, he is given dominion over something far more absolute: Death.
With every slain foe, every stolen soul, and every corpse bound to his will, Ian will carve his way from servitude to supremacy.
He will rise from the dirt. He will shatter his chains. And those who once cast him aside will learn what it means to fear the dead.
[Ability Unlocked: Soulbind – Bind the fallen to your will.]
[Absorb strength of fallen soul?]
[New Trait Acquired: Gravewalker – The dead whisper, and you listen.]
Kingdoms will tremble.
The weak will kneel.
And Ian Night will never be a failure again.
Or, like most in this cursed world, he’ll die trying.
The opening chapter was one of the most impressive and engaging I have ever read and I hope the author keeps up the energy and makes this novel my favorite.
considering how oversaturated the Necromancer genre can be I wasn't expecting much. So imagine my shock when it was so good I found myself regretting that I found this gem so soon because I cravemore chapters.
Don't drop this author or else you are Courting death
Great novel, with one of the best starts out there, btw is single FL or harem? Hope is single FL to many harem novel already. Keep going will continue reading for now
Damn good so far, I can only lament is that it doesn't update faster
Edgy and rediculous power scaling. The main character is unreliable and inconsistent with what we’ve already seen of him. Complete loser who somehow just gets a resolve. Not to mention the crybaby whiny fans who keep this site full of trash complaining about how the main character isn’t an immediate powerhouse despite being transmigrated not all that long ago, he’s already broken btw. Another generic fantasy novel filled with tropes. An edgelord Mc who’s paper thin in his ideals. Maybe it changes later on but the quality of the earlier chapters don’t lead me to belive this to be the case.
this is a really good book, in the sense of Story, and characters, and magic. my one Critique is that it's language tends to be very Flowery, sometimes it feels like a quarter of the Chapter is Extra Adjectives to act as Filler. not a Huge deal, just annoying for me
Read through the free chapters and is wholly disappointing. Yet another magic class diverging in to a assassin combat style. The free chapters barely have anything to with necromancy. MC is rather dull, author is really trying to turn him into a edgelord but the story thus far is shaping him out to be a ‘tard. It’s a drop for me at this point. Not enough there to find a reason to pick this up later.
The author knows how to make an interesting sounding system. I think everything else is not great though. Slave trope ✅ Very casual poor treatment towards women ✅ R*pe used as plot point ✅ Racism used casually (author probably doesn’t know where any of the m*ngl**** terms come from)
doesn't expected such a nice novel , must read guys
it has been some time since my attention has been grabbed so quickly and held! the author slowly takes his time to build the world around the mc, allowing the reader to actually get a feel for things rather than an immediate overload of exposition and information! the fights are fantastic thus far and actually care weight and significant! its so so good I definitely suggest it!
I just read first chapter i hope there will no femalead 🙃🙃
Sorry for my English, but I love reading so much that even a translator doesn't bother me. The writing style is gorgeous. I won't say it's easy to read, but the imagery, the battles, and the description of emotions are wonderful. The beginning is normal, interesting, and most importantly, without the damn truck. The events unfold rapidly and interestingly. The protagonist was really under pressure, and it was interesting to watch. However, as soon as he got out of the hole, it was all over. The writing style remained excellent, the events and battles were spectacular, but now these events had no weight. The princess's kindness rather diminishes the intensity of the situation. The protagonist still has no choice, but he didn't even try to negotiate better conditions for his development. It feels like the protagonist is not a slave, but a member of the princess's team... The situation is no longer so tense and interesting, but there is almost nothing at stake. What interest does the protagonist have in winning in the arena or helping with her plans? The last straw was revealing his power to the princess. Dude, you already regretted it once, why reveal it to a woman again? What guarantees are there that after she finishes her business, she won't turn you in to the church? It seems as if the protagonist has not learned his lesson from his previous betrayal. The work is gorgeous, but the arena arc is very boring, in my opinion.
I genuinely liked that it’s not your average necromancer novel, and I love that the story is so damn twisted!
Is this harem or not? Trying to figure it out
