Chapter 6: First Kill

Xong Zixin didn't know that he'd brought trouble to himself and was wanted by the Greencloud Sect. It was currently night time and he was still running towards the trees in the distance. He'd been running for hours without rest but wasn't too exhausted. This was one of the benefits of being a body cultivator, the body functions more efficiently.

Two hours later, Zixin finally reached his destination. He stood outside the gloomy and dark forest and hesitated to take a step forward. As he was hesitating whether he should enter or not, he heard sounds from inside the forest. Listening closely, Zixin heard the footsteps drawing closer and closer to him. 

Soon, a person came running towards him but since it was night time, he couldn't see the person's face clearly. 

"Help me!" shouted the person running towards him. 

"Stop him! Quickly stop him and don't let him escape!" shouted someone jumping from tree to tree. This person wasn't alone and had a whole of group chasing just one guy.

Zixin didn't want to get involved so he moved to the side and the person being chased continued running. 

"Thank you." he said before he continued running away. 

"Guys, he's an accomplice! Let's quickly get rid of him and continue chasing the target." shouted the leader. Someone from his group then moved at extreme speed and appeared behind Zixin with a dagger already aiming for his neck. The man was already in contact with Zixin's back.

Bang! 

Splat! 

The dagger man felt a strong force come into contact with his chest and before he could comprehend what it was, his chest caved in and from chest upwards, his body exploded into pieces and bits of meat, bones and brain matter. 

"WHAT?!" exclaimed the leader of the group as four people jumped off the trees and surrounded Zixin while looking at him warily. 

"So you really are a Demonic cultivator like that fellow that ran away. I don't know what trick you used to kill my Junior Brother but it won't succeed again!" shouted the leader. 

"Demonic cultivator?"

"ATTACK!"

Two attacked Zixin from the sides and one attacked from the front and the leader jumped high up in the air. The two people attacking him from both sides were carrying two daggers each. Zixin raised his hands to the sides but these guys acted snakely end wrapped their bodies around Zixin's thick arms. They were both young women. 

"Do it quickly while his arms are immobilized by us!" shouted one of the women and the person who was confronting Zixin directly appeared in front of Zixin and vertically swung his sword, aiming for Zixin's head.

The two young girls were turned into minced meat at the same time while the guy with the sword struck Zixin's head and the sword cracked all over, bounced back and the man ended up splitting himself in two from the powerful rebound of the collision. 

"YOU DARE!" exclaimed the leader in the sky as he clenched his fist and punched forward. Zixin also punched forward and the two fists collided but the leader was pulverised by the force that entered his body. The force was so powerful that it continued forward and destroyed a few trees in front of Zixin. 

In this collision, Zixin had used all the punch attacks he'd collected because this leader was an Advanced Qi Solidifying Stages expert, a genuine peak Foundation Building Realm so he went all out. After killing everyone, Zixin didn't feel guilty or repulsed by his own actions. He no longer hesitated and went deeper into the forest. 

This fight took not more than two minutes so the guy who was being chased hadn't run far and had seen Zixin dealing with his pursuers easily and was astounded by how ruthless Zixin was. Now, the guy had two choices, continue running away or chase after Zixin and recruit him. The guy quickly made his decision and rushed back to the forest. 

"Hey, wait up! Wait for me! There's something I want to discuss with you!" said the guy while cussing after Zixin.

These were the attacks currently in Zixin's inventory and they were few in numbers but they were all attacks from Foundation Building Realm experts so they counted for something.

Zixin had only experimented once on how his ability worked and he experimented on the metallic puppet. He discovered that the attacks he'd captured when released, didn't affect him in any way. No matter how many, releasing them was very easy, he only needed to have physical contact with someone or something using any part of his body. His body didn't suffer any physical strain, energy exhaustion or mental exhaustion. 

While running, Zixin heard someone from behind shouting for him to slow down and only then did the guy running after him catch up to him.

"Why are you chasing after me? Do you want to end up like those guys who were chasing after you?" asked Zixin.

"Brother, you misunderstood my actions. I didn't run after you to become your enemy but I ran after you to invite you to join my organisation." explained the guy with red hair and eyes, black nails and black robes. 

"Invite me to your organisation? Let me guess, the Demonic Cult?"

"Those guys have already revealed my background. Yes, I'm from the Demonic Sect and I hold a very high status in the sect. So, do you want to join?" asked the guy.

"Before I join, does your sect have equipment and resources required by Body Cultivators? Like puppets and stuff?" asked Zixin. 

"Hahaha, brother, the Demonic Sect has everything. From powerful cultivation techniques to all kinds of treasures and weapons. You definitely won't miss out by joining my sect. So, what do you say?"

"Fine, I'll join your sect."

"Hahaha! Good. Good. Good."
