Chapter 8: Pointers

Zixin left his room the next day in the afternoon and he went to see Guo because there was sometimes he wanted to talk to him about.

"Guo, is there a way that I could many Ai?" asked Zixin. 

"Brother Zixin, I see that you enjoyed last night and today in the morning, not bad." said Guo. 

"Guo, I'm being serious right now, what do I have to do to take Ai's hand in marriage?"

"Fine, I'll stop pulling your leg. It's actually a simple process because I'm here. I'll bethrod Ai to you and once you're strong enough or just want to get married, you can do so in the future. Let me draft the marriage certificate right now. Go and call for Ai." said Guo and Zixin rushed to call Ai.

When the couple came inside, Guo had Jarrett finished drafting the contract and it just needed their signatures.

"Why are you wasting time, quickly come and sign the certificate. I'll be your witness as you sign the certificate."

Zixin and Ai then signed the certificate and the two were officially engaged. Zixin was very happy, a few months after coming into this world, he'd found himself a gorgeous wife to be. 

"Let's go and celebrate." whispered Zixin in Ai's ear and Ai's face turned red from embarrassment. The two then left Guo's room to "celebrate" and they celebrated for the whole day.

When evening came, it was finally time to leave. Ai had called for her personal guard to escort Guo and Zixin with his tamed Battle Beast, a ten meters tall bat with sharp teeth and scary eyes. 

"Ai, when I'm strong enough, I'll definitely come back for you so wait for me. Within a year, I'll come back within a year." said Zixin. 

"No matter how long it takes, I'll wait for you so don't pressure yourself and do things steadily." replied Ai.

The bat then flew away and melded with the darkness so that no one could see it flying above them. At night, this bat had the perfect camouflage and its stealth skills were also top notch. 

"Brother Zixin, with this bat's speed. We'll probably make it to the sect tomorrow morning so you can finally relax." said Guo.

The bat flew all night and when the sun was about to rise, they reached their destination. 

"Holy Son, we've arrived," said the escort. 

Guo and Zixin opened their eyes at the same time. In front of them were two mountains with a crack between them. The crack was big enough for a hundred people to enter or exit at the same time. It was about fifty meters big but compared to the thousands of meters tall mountains, this crack was very small.

"Brother Zixin, welcome to the Demonic Sect." said Guo while walking towards the crack and Zixin followed him. 

"Where are we?" asked Zixin. 

"This is the Main Branch of the Demonic Sect, a genuine Five Star Sect."

"A Five Star Sect?"

"Yes, a Five Star Sect. Don't you know, sects also have rankings. A sect with a peak Foundation Building Realm master is a One Star Sect, a Two Star Sect has a peak Core Condensing Realm master, a Three Star Sect has a peak Soul Forming Realm expert, a Four Star Sect has a peak Soul Transformation Realm expert and a Five Star Sect has a peak Unification Realm expert. Above that are the Ancient Sects but they are in hiding and finding them is impossible." explained Guo.

"Wow, I didn't expect the Spring Province to be big enough to house such powerful groups!" exclaimed Zixin in awe.

"Spring Province…? Brother Zixin, we left the Spring Province hours ago. It's probably thousands of kilometres away from where we are. It looks like you came from a low ranked sect, allow me to enlighten you."

Guo began to explain to Zixin the geography of the Azure World, that was this world's name. The Azure World only had one continent, one massive continent called the Azure Continent. It covered fifty percent of the Azure World and the other half was the ocean. 

The Azure Continent is divided into six massive countries, five of these countries have kingdoms that govern it and the last country is governed by a single empire which also had complete continental dominance. The Long River Empire because it had a river that cut through all the countries. 

The closer one was to the Long River Empire, the denser and purer the Spirit Qi was. The Long River Empire occupied the main country of the Azure Continent which had the highest concentration of Spirit Qi in the world. Southernmost part of the continent was the Feather Country which was governed by the Sparrow Kingdom and the weakest of all kingdoms. 

Above it were the Ominous Country and the Mountains Country. The Ominous Country was governed by the Dark Kingdom, Gloomy Kingdom and the Dull Kingdom. The Mountains Country was governed by the Cloud Mountain Kingdom, Boulders Mountain Kingdom and Falling Rocks Mountain Kingdom.

On the western part of the continent was the Elemental Country and also the base of the Long River Empire. East of that was the Wetlands Country governed by the Red Wetlands Kingdom, Blue Wetlands Kingdom and Black Wetlands Kingdom. And finally, the northern part had the Sun Country governed by the Extreme Yang Kingdom and the Extreme Yin Kingdom.

Once inside the crave, there was a big open space and nothing else. 

"Brother Zixin, come stand next to me." said Guo and Zixin did as instructed. 

"I bid farewell to the Holy Son and hope you'll have a safe journey." said the escort while kneeling. 

"Mhm." nodded Guo before taking out his token and poured energy into it. As the token glowed, the ground also glowed and revealed an array formation. 

"Teleport!"

Guo and Zixin then teleported and everything returned to normal. The escort flew away in a different direction with his huge bat.

When Guo and Zixin reappeared, they were already in a different place, a beautiful wooden floor, black pillars with golden dragon engravings. This place looked fancy and luxurious. 

[Guo, you've returned.] a voice filled with power and authority sounded behind them and the two quickly turned around. Guo grabbed Zixin's shoulder and pulled him down to kneel with him.

"Disciple Guo greets the Sect Leader."

'Sect Leader?! Does this mean he's a Unification Realm expert?! No wonder his voice is so powerful!' inwardly exclaimed Zixin. 

[Enough with the formalities, I take it you had a fruitful journey judging by how quick you returned.]

"Yes, Sect Leader. My trip should have taken longer but thanks to my friend here, I managed to complete the mission much sooner."

[Oh, then this body must be really capable if you even have such high praise for him.]

"Brother Zixin is plenty strong. He killed multiple Foundation Building Realm disciples with just one move for each of them. Even a peak Foundation Building Realm disciple was no match for him and was obliterated in one punch." said Guo proudly like he was the one with these accompaniments.
