Chapter 11: The Boss Battle

The System Warden loomed before us, its towering frame glowing with pulsating red circuits. Its mechanical voice echoed through the battlefield.

💀 [WARNING: SYSTEM WARDEN ACTIVATED] 💀

"Intruders detected. Elimination protocol engaged."

The Resistance forces spread out, weapons aimed. Kaine gripped his war hammer tightly, his cybernetic eye scanning the beast.

"Hit it hard and fast! No second chances!"

⚡ [NEW OBJECTIVE: DESTROY THE SYSTEM WARDEN] ⚡

The Warden raised its plasma cannon and fired a massive energy blast. I barely managed to dodge, rolling behind debris.

💥 [DANGER: HIGH DAMAGE ATTACKS INCOMING] 💥

Specter sniped at its sensors, but the bullets barely scratched the surface. "This thing's armored like a damn battleship!"

Nyx darted forward, her blade glowing with electric energy. She slashed at the Warden's knee joint, causing sparks to fly.

Kaine let out a roar, slamming his war hammer into the ground. A shockwave erupted, knocking the Warden off balance for a brief second.

"Now's our chance!" I activated Overdrive Mode and dashed forward.

⚡ [SKILL ACTIVATED: Overdrive Mode] ⚡

I leaped onto the Warden's back, hacking into its core system with my Cyber Gauntlet.

The Warden jerked violently, trying to shake me off. "Unauthorized access detected! Purging intruder!"

Its metallic claws swung at me, but Nyx fired grappling hooks, holding its arms down.

"Hurry up, Aryan! It's breaking free!"

⚠ [HACK COMPLETE: SYSTEM WEAKNESS IDENTIFIED] ⚠

A red core pulsed in the Warden's chest. "There! The power core!"

Kaine charged forward, smashing the core with his hammer. The Warden screeched, its circuits short-circuiting.

💀 [SYSTEM WARDEN STATUS: CRITICAL DAMAGE] 💀

"Let's finish this!" I charged my energy blade, aiming for the core. With a final swing, I plunged it deep inside!

The Warden let out a deafening shriek as explosions erupted from within.

💥 [SYSTEM WARDEN DEFEATED!] 💥

The battlefield fell silent as its massive form collapsed in a heap of burning metal.

A notification flashed before my eyes:

We barely had time to celebrate before Kaine turned to us, his expression serious.

"This was just the beginning. The System won't let this go unanswered."

Nyx wiped sweat from her brow. "Then we hit them harder. We take the fight to their stronghold."

Suddenly, a deep rumbling echoed through the battlefield. The ground trembled beneath us.

"What now?!" Specter shouted, reloading his sniper.

A holographic projection appeared in the sky. A masked figure, draped in a digital cloak, stared at us with glowing red eyes.

"Impressive… but you're merely insects before the true might of the System."

A timer appeared above us.

Kaine clenched his fists. "We need to move. Now!"

Nyx pulled up a holo-map. "There's a hidden passage under the ruins. It'll take us straight to the fortress."

I nodded. "Then we make our move before time runs out."
