The dinner was sumptuous; she thought she wouldn't be able to eat much, but ended up eating quite a bit. The chef's skills here were simply too good.
After bathing, the servant brought an assortment of dresses. Mabel Quinn casually picked a simple dress to wear. Then she followed the servant to a door.
"Elder Kinston is inside." The servant left only this message before departing.
Soon, only Mabel Quinn was left in front of the door. She also wanted to leave like the servant, but thinking of the online reviews about Kyle Kinston, Mabel shivered. She raised her hand and knocked on the door.
After two knocks, there was no response. However, when she turned the doorknob, she found it unlocked, so she pushed the door open and walked in.
This was a very large suite. As soon as she entered, she heard muffled breathing sounds.
Whose breathing was it, mixed with what seemed like pain. Mabel flinched; before she could think, Kyle's slightly hoarse voice sounded, "Come here."
Was he speaking to her? Mabel lifted her foot and walked inside, only to see Kyle Kinston leaning against the wall, arms crossed over his chest, fingers pressing tightly into his arms like they were about to pierce through the fabric into his flesh. The veins on the back of his hands bulged, his head hung low, from her angle she could only see his thick black hair and his slightly trembling body, as if desperately trying to suppress something.
"Mr. Kyle..." Mabel spoke.
The next moment, Kyle abruptly lifted his head and looked towards her. In an instant, Mabel felt her whole spirit locked by those phoenix-like eyes.
Dark, boundless, like a dead silent deep sea without a ripple, carrying only a chilling desolation that made one's heart tremble.
It seemed like this man, no one could truly get close to, nor did he need anyone to get close.
Contrary to his eyes was his handsome face, with a slight twist of pain. His complexion was pale, his face covered with sweat, even leaving his fringe damp.
Mabel Quinn stood there in a daze; such a Kyle Kinston reminded her of the scene in the underground parking lot.
Suddenly, Kyle swiftly walked towards her and pulled her into his embrace.
The male scent instantly enveloped her completely. Mabel struggled violently, "Let go of me... let go..."
But she couldn't budge him in the slightest; instead, he held her tighter and tighter. His arms gripped her waist and back so firmly she could hardly breathe.
His chin rested on the top of her head, the sound of his breathing constantly ringing in her ears.
"Don't move... or I will knock you out directly." He panted, but his breathing was no longer as heavy as before.
"You... you said you wouldn't force me!" Mabel clung to this one promise. She hoped he had some sense of keeping his word.
"Then stop moving!" The last few words were squeezed out from between his teeth with difficulty.
Mabel Quinn dared not move a muscle, fearing that if she moved even slightly, something she didn't want to happen would truly occur.
