However, with Kyle Kinston standing right in front of her, Mabel Quinn felt embarrassed to eat alone, so she casually asked him if he wanted a bowl of vegetable soup too. Kyle responded straightforwardly with two words, "No need."

Mabel then started eating by herself, but as she was having the vegetable soup, Kyle casually pulled up a chair and sat down next to her, which made her feel a bit uncomfortable.

In the middle of the night, the two of them sitting in the dining room like this—this was something she had never even imagined before.

"How bad is the pain?" Kyle suddenly asked.

She was at a loss for words, unsure how to explain this kind of physiological pain to a man. After pondering for a while, she said, "It's probably like having a digging machine constantly excavating inside."

Seeing his frown, she quickly added, "Of course, it's not that bad, actually. It's within bearable limits. Plus, after drinking the hot soup, I feel much better."
