The New Guy

Ash

I run away from Liam's mansion crying and I bump into Axel. He takes hold of both of my arms and looks down at me.

"Ash? Are you okay? What happened?" He asks worriedly.

"Nothing just leave me alone.." I say and looks down. Lucy comes rushing towards us and hugs me tightly.

"I suppose it didn't go well?" She says and looks at me with a crooked smile.

"I saw Liam and Nick kissing...." I say and sobs quietly.

"Oh my God...I'm so sorry Ashy." She says and hugs me even tighter. I've missed Lucy and Axel. We all have been busy but it feels good to finally be back together again. 

"It's okay...." I say and hugs her back.

"Wanna go to your aunts cafe and try to forget it?" Axel asks and we both nod.

The walk to the ice cream cafe isn't long but it's quiet and it feels quite strange. I open the door and let the others go in before me and we sit down at a table in one of the more quiet corners. A waiter I haven't seen before comes up to our table. He is tall and muscular and has black fluffy hair, brown skin and ice blue eyes. I've never seen someone so handsome and as I begin to drool over him Lucy forces my chin closed with her finger and the guy just smiles charmingly.

"What would you guys like to order?" He asks. His voice is deep but not too deep and it sends shivers down my spine.

"I want a chocolate muffin and a strawberry milkshake." Lucy says and smiles gently while holding Alex's hand.

"I will take the same." Alex says and squeezes her hand.

"And you?" The handsome waiter asks.

"I-I....I will go with just a coffee with milk and cream..." I say shyly still staring at him.

"Okay!" He says and turns to leave and Lucy smiles mischievously.

"You totally have a crush on him!" She squeales excitedly.

"No I don't!" I fight back but we both know the truth.

The handsome waiter comes back with our orders and smiles and looks at me.

"You're Ash, Alice's niece right? She has pictures of you every where and talks about you all the time. I'm Amir by the way." He says and extends his veiny big hand.

"N-nice to meet you..." I say shyly and takes his hand and shakes it.

"Can I get your Snap or Insta?" He asks and this time he is smirking.

"O-okay sure.." I stammer and he gives me his phone and I add my Snap on his account before giving back his phone.

When he has turned away and walked back to the cafe's checkout Lucy squeals.

"Omg! You got his Snap!" She squeals.

"Yea. He is sooo handsome....I wonder if he goes to our school because I haven't seen him before." I say and Alex speaks up.

"I know him from the local basket team, he moved here a few weeks ago, he will probably start in our school on monday." 

"Omg....So he must be good at basket then...." I say and glance over at him where he is taking orders from a customer.
