Chapter 111

Kanako had been getting bolder recently. Ever since she realized she had set up a barrier at home, she had completely let herself go.

Konan was also picking up bad habits. She had started wearing increasingly revealing outfits. How could this be happening?

Uchiha Shin narrowed his eyes as he stared at Konan, who stood before him wearing an outfit that barely covered her frame. A child's swimsuit, really?

"Brother! Kanako bought this for me. She said you'd be happy if I wore it at home, right?" Konan beamed, her voice soft and innocent.

That pure expression on her face clearly showed that she expected praise.

However, everything about her actions only made Uchiha Shin feel a deep sense of frustration.

"You can wear whatever makes you happy, but you are not allowed to dress like this normally." His voice was strict, though he kept his composure.

Stepping forward, he reached out and gave Konan a light pat on the backside.

Ever since she came back home and was finally eating proper meals, she had put on some weight. The result? Her figure was filling out quite nicely.

The feeling was undeniably better than before.

Konan let out a small gasp as she was tapped twice, her face flushing before she ran off to her room in embarrassment.

She hadn't thought the outfit was that bold. She had only wanted Uchiha Shin to like it.

Of course, despite his words, she could tell—Shin had definitely enjoyed it.

If that was the case, then maybe she could start dressing like Kanako more often.

As he watched Konan disappear into her room, Uchiha Shin let out a heavy sigh.

Those two needed to be disciplined. He had to put both Kanako and Konan in their place before things got out of control.

How shameful! Fortunately, Mikoto wasn't home today.

Lately, she had been dragged away by Tsunade to assist with paperwork.

After all, managing the village's affairs alone was exhausting. And since Shin, the so-called "boss," refused to deal with any of it, Tsunade had no choice but to bear the burden herself.

If Shin was an emperor, then Tsunade was the grand prime minister. Everything had to go through her approval.

And this bastard of an apprentice only ever criticized her work but never actually helped.

In the end, Tsunade had gone looking for another apprentice, one who actually respected their master.

But for Shin, this was good news.

Since Mikoto wasn't around, that meant Kushina's matter was as good as settled.

Uchiha Shin, suppressing his excitement, patiently waited for Kushina to arrive.

Meanwhile, Kushina stood in front of her mirror, carefully fixing her outfit.

Her usual clothes were simple, but after hearing what Kanako said today, she wanted to wear something prettier. After much deliberation, she had settled on a soft pink dress, the color of cotton candy, with delicate lace trim adorned with tiny floral designs.

Her long red hair, usually tied into a ponytail, was let down for a change. A hairpin—one that Uchiha Shin had given her—was fastened on the left side of her head.

With her adorable face, she exuded a unique charm—a mix of innocence and allure that only made her look even more captivating.

She swayed slightly in front of the mirror, testing her look. The subtle movement lifted her skirt just enough to reveal her white cotton undergarments, clinging to her petite frame.

Her fair legs were wrapped in soft, white stockings, completing the look.

Her pure and delicate aura naturally invoked a sense of protection in those who saw her. It was enough to make anyone want to treasure her.

Kushina's heart was pounding, her thoughts scattered in different directions.

Kanako had told her that Uchiha Shin wanted to have dinner with her.

The way she had phrased it…

Kushina immediately thought of one word: "date."

Recalling the last time Uchiha Shin had seen her completely exposed, her face turned even redder. The memory of it made her feel embarrassed beyond belief.

"I'm just going to talk with Shin later… Oh no, I can't keep thinking about it like this!" Kushina scolded herself.

She needed to calm her restless heart.

But the more she tried, the worse it got. Her mind was flooded with thoughts—thoughts so shameless they might as well have been censored with a mosaic.

"Well, well, well… looks like someone's getting all dressed up today."

Uzumaki Mito's voice interrupted her thoughts.

The older woman had been observing her closely.

She knew what it meant when a girl dressed like this. It was obvious.

Kushina immediately covered her face, which had turned as red as her hair.

"G-Grandma Mito, what are you talking about? I was just dressing casually!" she protested, her voice flustered.

Mito, however, only smiled knowingly.

She could see right through Kushina's poor attempt at hiding the truth.

"Who are you going to meet? Konan again?" Mito asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Um… I-I'm going to Shin's place…" Kushina muttered, her eyes darting to the side.

Mito was unsurprised by the answer.

She had seen the way Uchiha Shin and Kushina interacted with each other. She was well aware of how things were progressing.

Others might not know Uchiha Shin's true nature, but Mito did.

After all, her granddaughter Tsunade had already experienced it firsthand.

She had heard Tsunade complain more than once about Shin's stamina—how the boy was ridiculously energetic for his age, to the point of nearly exhausting her.

Young people these days… they really were full of energy.

As for Shin's ever-growing harem, Mito had no strong opinions.

It wasn't like she could stop Tsunade.

If anything, she almost seemed to be considering how to… lighten the burden.

If Kushina ended up with Shin, their bond would only deepen.

And if Kushina bore Shin's child… well, that would certainly be a huge advantage for the Uzumaki clan.

A child born from their bloodline, combined with the Uchiha's potential? That would be a force to be reckoned with.

Mito pondered these thoughts for a moment before finally speaking.

"Just be careful, Kushina. Shin… isn't exactly like normal men."

"Huh? What do you mean by that, Grandma?" Kushina tilted her head in confusion.

Mito only smiled mysteriously, shaking her head. "You'll understand soon enough. But don't worry. The Uzumaki are strong—we can handle it."

Changing the subject, Mito added, "Oh, and while you're there, ask Shin what his plans are for the Nine-Tails. I doubt he'll make you the Jinchūriki."

With those final words, Mito turned and walked back inside, leaving Kushina to stare after her in bewilderment.

She had only understood half of what her grandmother said, but she would figure it out later.

Besides, she had more important things to focus on.

If Uchiha Shin wanted her to become the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki… she wouldn't refuse.

Not because she was being forced into it.

But because, if it was for Shin, she was willing.
