An Audition, Why Not?

"Emily, do you think I can be successful with my application? I dream of becoming a star," Quinn, who was standing in front of her, had a look of excitement and of a little nervousness.

Emily thought to herself, even if she was successful in the application, she would ruin her job.

Since she hac been miraculously reborn five years into the past, some tragedies that should have been avoided would never happen again.

"Quinn, the entertainment industry is not as simple as you think. You did so well in your internship at the hospital. It would be better to take the nursing qualification exam, spend some money and get into a tertiary hospital. Wouldn't it be better to have a stable income and live a stable life there?" Emily sighed.

This girl was just like her before she was reborn. She was obsessed with making a name for herself, but ended up with nothing.

"Emily, this is my dream. I will become a big star that everyone adores." Quinn smiled and said in a firm tone.

"Yea, right!" On the other side, a woman dressed in fancy clothes with a hint of promiscuity on her face said disdainfully. "You want to be a big star? Do you even take a look at your face? But with people like you as a foil, beauty can never be more prominent, cant it?"

Quinn's face immediately turned red, but she was a well-behaved person by nature. She clenched her fists tightly, bit her lips and said nothing.

But Emily was different. She had lived two lives and had seen many people who scared her, but she was not afraid of this kind of people.

She raised her eyebrows and asked with a smile. "Quinn, did you hear something?"

"No, did you?" Quinn laughed immediately in response.

"I heard nothing but a fart."

Quinn laughed and quickly pulled emily's hand, whispering, "Enough, Emily."

"Who the hell are you talking about?" The woman suddenly exploded and asked.

"What's wrong, Miss World?" Emily looked at her indifferently and sneered. "Do you want to hit me or what? Come on, take your best shot, and wait for my lawsuit. Girls like me can do with some money."

"Are you mocking me, little bitch?!" The woman's face was full of resentment, but she didn't dare to take action in this situation. She said viciously: "Good for nothing whore."

"Who are you cursing, Miss World?"

"You, bitch."

Emily smiled slightly: "Well, since you admit your mistakes, I forgive you."

"God...!" The woman was about to curse when the door of the recruitment room not far away opened. She gave us a resentful look, quickly fixed her makeup and went in.

Quinn was a little nervous and asked in a low voice: "Emily, that lady looks troublesome, let's not provoke her."

"Don't be afraid, my lady. I'm here to protect you in my shining armor." Emily hugged her and said with a smile.

Quinn broke free from her clutches with a red face and said angrily, "You are becoming more and more shameless, girl."

"No shame at all, my lady."

"OMG, get out!" Quinn started cursing.

After a while, the troublesome woman came out with a smile on her face, walked past them arrogantly, and sneered. "I hope you two country bumpkins pass your interviews, although I very much doubt it. Anyway, I have already passed my preliminary test. Goodluck-not, to yo two."

"Yeah, you're almost there," Emily responded calmly.

"Whatever!" The woman said and left proudly.

Quinn asked curiously, "What is she going to do next?"

"She's about to come on stage."

"You silly girl, you are so frivolous!" Quinn voiced.

***

Half an hour later, Quinn walked into the interview room.

Emily frowned slightly, and was really worried that this girl would not be selected. Since she came back from the future, she knew the company was exposed a few years later for their extremely bad behavior.

Quinn was such a naive girl. If she was really interviewed, the fallout would be disastrous.

After a while.

The girl came out with a frustrated look on her face, but Emily was relieved. She walked over to her with a smile. "What's wrong? Didn't you pass the preliminary test?"

Quinn looked frustrated and disappointed, and nodded. "They asked me to perform a talent show, I sang a song, but I was eliminated in the end."

"It doesn't matter. This is not a big company anyway. If you really want to develop in the entertainment industry, I will help you later." Emily comforted her.

Quinn rolled her eyes at her and said in a sad tone, "You help me? How can you help me? Come on, stop comforting me. It's your turn now. Go and try it too."

"Okay!" Emily smiled, patted the girl's shoulder, and said, "It's my turn now."

"Girl, remember to be more respectful." Quinn advised.

"Don't worry!" Emily pushed the door open with a relaxed look on her face.

It was a large room of about 40 square meters. There were three people sitting behind a row of tables in the front.

She quietly turned on the recording system of her mobile phone, put on a sweet smile, and walked in calmly.

One of them, who was about thirty years old and wearing a floral T-shirt, had his eyes brightened up when he saw her.

The other two also whispered to each other, but they seemed very satisfied.

Emily sneered in her heart. It was obvious that these three guys were terrible people. However, her sister's charm was indeed unstoppable. She was even able to make elderly people smiled in appreciation.

"What's your name, Miss?" The middle-aged man, about 40 years old, who was sitting in the middle, asked with a smile, but he looked like he was hiding a dagger behind his smile.

"Hello, all. My name is Emily Sanders, and I graduated from Harbin Medical University." Emily came to her senses, gave a courtesy bow, and said politely.

"Well, your first impression is not bad! How old are you?" The man asked.

"I am 20 years old."

"Any specialties?"

"I sing and dance a little bit."

"Well! Very good, very good. Leave your phone number. You have passed the initial test," The middle-aged man nodded with satisfaction and said.

Emily was not surprised at all. This company was a fucking den of pimps. They didn't care whether you have acting talent or not. As long as you're pretty, you'll pass.

She was determined to bring down this company, so she deliberately asked, "Excuse me, sirs, don't I need to show any talent?"

"No need for that. Our General Manager here, Mr. Lindemann, thinks you are great?" The man in the floral T-shirt said with a frivolous smile.

"Mr. Lindemann?"

"Miss Sanders, I'm James Lindemann. You're a very talented lady, and I have high hopes for you. How about we talk over dinner tonight? All on me, of course." The middle-aged man sitting in the middle seat, said with a smile.

Damn, bloody fools. You all think I'm an idiot? Emily wondered in her heart. With a sly look on her face, she asked timidly. "Okay, but I can pay for the dinner, Mr. Lindemann."
