CHAPTER : 1 _ JOHN'S WILD WAY

This story is about the Earth, but not the Earth we once knew. After thousands of years, the creatures that roamed this planet evolved into monstrous beings due to some experiments and changes in their DNA. Some remained calm and harmless, while others became fearsome beasts capable of terrifying even the bravest of souls.

As time passed, these beasts grew stronger, making it impossible for humans to live freely. Most people had no choice but to hide in their homes, fearing the monsters outside. However, not everyone was willing to live in fear. A handful of humans trained tirelessly for years, refusing to cower like the rest. These individuals became Monster Tamers, warriors who fought and controlled the beasts. With their skills, they tamed even the strongest of creatures, turning them into allies instead of enemies. Over time, taming monsters became a trend, but it was not an easy path. The chances of becoming a successful Monster Tamer were thin, as only those who could stand fearlessly against any beast—big or small—were considered true tamers.

Monster Tamer Schools were established to cultivate this rare talent, where selected children were trained to control creatures. And today, our story follows one such student: John.

---

John wasn't trying to tame a fearsome beast or a deadly creature. Instead, he had been struggling for four years to tame a simple cat. Despite his repeated failures, today, his face was filled with excitement.

"I fed this cat a special fish today. If it doesn't work now, I don't know when it ever will!"

John grinned as he carefully placed the fish in front of the cat, hoping that this time, it would finally acknowledge him as its master. The cat ate the fish from John's hands, staring at him with its sharp eyes. But just as the fish was gone, the cat suddenly bit him!

"Ahh!" John yelped, jumping back in fear. The cat growled at him, forcing him to run for his life.

The entire scene was witnessed by his classmates, and soon, the school corridors were filled with laughter. But John was too busy escaping the furious cat to notice that he was being mocked.

Among the crowd stood Steve, the leader of the Black God Team—one of the strongest groups in the school. He watched John with an amused yet sinister smile.

"Peter, you come from a prestigious family, don't you?" Steve asked his teammate, Peter, who simply nodded.

"And you, Tony and Sofia, you both also belong to wealthy families, right?"

The two nodded without hesitation.

"We are all talented, yet we had to struggle to get into this school. Even with our abilities and money, it took a lot of effort. And yet, this poor orphan... How did he get in? More importantly, how has he survived here for four years?"

Steve's face twisted with anger.

For someone like him, who had to go through an exhausting process to secure admission, it was infuriating to see someone like John—who couldn't even tame a simple cat—roaming the school freely.

"Sofia, how much time does he have?" Steve asked.

"Just three months. If he fails to tame at least ten creatures before that, he'll be expelled," Sofia replied.

"Good. But before he leaves, I want to teach him a lesson." Steve smirked.

Peter and Tony exchanged glances and grinned.

"Understood, boss."

---

Meanwhile, John finally managed to escape the cat by running outside the school gate. He sighed in relief, knowing the school's rule—creatures assigned for taming couldn't leave the school premises.

He waited outside for an hour before cautiously re-entering the building.

"What is wrong with me? I can't even tame a cat, and I'm supposed to become a Monster Tamer?"

His dream was to tame powerful monsters, yet he couldn't even succeed with a simple animal. He clenched his fists, frustrated.

As he entered his classroom, everyone fell silent. They whispered among themselves, talking about his failure.

"Can you believe it? He's been trying to tame that cat for four years! If he fails this year, he's out!"

"I tamed mine in just two days!" another student bragged.

John ignored them and sat in his seat.

Moments later, a stunning girl entered the classroom.

She wasn't just any student—she was Joanna, the top-ranked Monster Tamer in the school. Unlike John, she had successfully tamed a deadly snake beast, which now coiled around her shoulders like an accessory.

The students watched in awe, careful not to provoke her snake's attention.

A unique rule in their school ensured that students would sit in alphabetical order. Because of this, John was forced to sit next to Joanna for the past four years.

John was delighted by this arrangement, but Joanna, on the other hand, was utterly disgusted.

"Why did fate do this to me? I've been stuck sitting next to this loser for four years! But it's okay. He'll be expelled soon. Just three more months, and I'll finally be free."

She forced a smile and took her seat beside John.

---

A few minutes later, the classroom door slammed open, and the strictest teacher in the school, Miss Julie, entered.

She was known not only for her unmatched beauty but also for her short temper and ruthless discipline.

To grab the students' attention, she slammed her hand against the teacher's desk, making a loud noise that immediately silenced the room.

"Hey, look! Miss Julie is here. This might be John's last day!" someone whispered.

Julie's sharp ears caught the gossip.

"What are you all whispering about? Sit down and be quiet!" she snapped.

Everyone straightened up immediately, not daring to provoke her wrath.

John, however, was too distracted by Joanna to notice Miss Julie's arrival.

Seeing that John was completely ignoring her, Miss Julie walked straight to his desk and stood in front of him, casting a shadow over his seat.

Feeling the presence of someone looming over him, John slowly looked up…

And his heart nearly stopped.
