One Minute of Hell

Samuel rushed forward, his Fire Sword burning bright in his hands. His focus was locked on the Minotaur Boss. He dodged left, avoiding a massive fist that slammed into the ground, cracking the ice.

Samuel lunged low, his Fire Sword slashing across the Minotaur Boss's ankle.

Nothing happened.

The blade passed through, but there was no damage. No burned flesh, no deep wound.

Samuel's eyes widened.

Samuel said to his self, you fool it didn't work on his soldiers what make you think it will work on him.

Then Before he could react, the Minotaur Boss roared, raising his foot to stomp Samuel into the ground.

Samuel acted on instinct.

He dropped his sword and slammed his hands onto the frozen floor.

Earth Shape (Earth magic).

The ground shifted. A massive stone pillar shot up beneath the Minotaur Boss's feet, launching him straight into the ceiling.

CRASH!

The minotaur's body slammed into the roof of the chamber, sending debris falling down. Samuel's breathing was fast and heavy.

The moment the minotaur was in the air, Samuel switched magic.

Spirit Claw (banshee powers).

energy surged around his fingers, forming razor-sharp claws of spirit energy.

Samuel leaped, twisting his body mid air.

With one fluid motion, he scratched his claws across the Minotaur's chest.

Blood sprayed.

The Minotaur roared in pain, his lava blood sizzling as it hit the ice below.

His massive battle axe slipped from his hands, crashing to the ground.

Samuel landed, exhaling hard. His heart was pounding.

He did it.

He grinned, laughing breathlessly. "That was easier than I thought"

A blur.

Before he could even turn his head, something slammed into his back.

A foot.

The Minotaur Boss had recovered mid air.

And he had kicked Samuel.

Hard.

BOOM!

Samuel's body tumbled across the chamber, bouncing off the ground like a ball.

His back hit a wall.

Before he could even fall, the Minotaur was already there.

A massive fist smashed into his gut.

Samuel's breath exploded out of him.

Another punch.

Then another.

The Minotaur didn't let him touch the ground.

Every time Samuel's body started to fall, another punch slammed into him, keeping him in the air.

His ribs snapped.

His jaw cracked.

Blood sprayed from his mouth.

Finally, the Minotaur boss ended the combo with a massive uppercut.

Samuel's body soared through the air. He smashed into a pillar, the stones crumbling on impact.

His body hit the ground hard.

Everything hurt.

The system flashed red.

[ ERROR. BERSERKER'S ENDURANCE OFFLINE.

1 MINUTE UNTIL REACTIVATION ].

Samuel's eyes widened.

1 minute.

For the first time in a long time, he could feel everything.

And it was pure hell.

Samuel coughed, blood dripping from his mouth. His body twitched, struggling to move. Every inch of him ached.

The Minotaur Boss stepped forward, his hooves echoing through chamber. His eyes looked on him, staring down at Samuel with disappointment.

He spoke, his voice deep and filled with contempt.

"For centuries, I have waited."

He raised his hand, gesturing to the ruined battlefield.

"I have fought challengers. I have killed kings. I have crushed warriors. And I hoped prayed for a true equal."

His eyes narrowed, continued locking onto Samuel.

"And this… This is what I get?"

His lips curled into a cruel smile.

"A weak, pathetic lowlife with the mana control of a child?"

His laughter echoed through the chamber. filled with mockery.

Samuel clenched his teeth, his hands twitching as he tried to push himself up. But before he could move.

The Minotaur vanished.

Samuel barely saw it.

A blur. A shadow. A monster.

And then.

BOOM.

A fist slammed into Samuel's face.

His skull shattered.

His vision went white.

CRACK!

Another punch.

Samuel's head snapped back, his nose breaking apart.

Blood sprayed.

His skull broke.

Another punch.

Then another.

Then another.

The Minotaur's fists were very painful, more than any blow, he took in the dungeon.

Each blow crushed his skull again and again, faster than he could regenerate.

Samuel couldn't even think.

Couldn't move.

Couldn't breathe.

It was just pain.

Fist. Bone. Blood. Repeat.

And the worst part?

The Minotaur was smiling.

Just like Samuel had when he beat Selyne to death.
