Chapter 63: House
"Unforgivable! Absolutely unforgivable!" Naruto shouted, fury burning in his eyes as he stared at the disaster that used to be his home.
Just thinking about his precious collection of instant noodles being stolen and his house conditions made his blood boil.
His apartment had turned into a living nightmare in the few hours he'd been away.
Sensing Naruto's emotional instability, the seal weakened slightly.
And deep within him, the one who was enjoying all this chaos the most… was the Nine-Tails.
"Yes… YES! Let it all out, Naruto! Tap into that juicy rage and give me some of that sweet, seal-weakening!"
Although he couldn't see what was happening outside, the moment the seal loosened even just a little Kurama knew Naruto was upset.
"Go ahead, brat. Let your rage flow," he chuckled, beginning to push a bit of his chakra toward Naruto.
Just as he started channeling his chakra, his smug expression froze.
CLANK!
A familiar sound echoed in the cage... the unmistakable rattle of chains.
Kurama's eye twitched.
"No. No no no—!"
He was right in the middle of his chakra transfer at that moment, and the Adamantine chains saw it all.
"…"
He froze mid-laugh as the chains tightened around his limbs.

"…I swear I wasn't plotting anything! It was a reflex! A reflex!!"
Inside the Hokage's Office…
Naruto stood firmly in front of the Third Hokage, his voice full of frustration.
"Old man, you have to help me...!"
Hiruzen stared blankly at him.
It had already been thirty minutes of nonstop Naruto ranting, and frankly, he couldn't care less at the moment.
His desk was piled with paperwork. The Chūnin Exams were just around the corner, and foreign shinobi would begin arriving in the next day or two.
He had more important things to worry about than Naruto's stolen ramen.
"Naruto," he said with a sigh, "I'm really busy right now. How about we talk about this another day?"
He rubbed his temples and tried to offer something that might end the conversation.
"How about I arrange a new apartment for you? I'll have someone look into this mess later. Is that okay?"
Naruto let out a long sigh, clearly disappointed. "Fine, but Forget about the apartment, I don't need it. I'll just buy a house of my own!"
Hearing this made Hiruzen pause.
He narrowed his eyes. Buy a house?
'How much money does that brat even have?' the third Hokage wondered, recalling the time Naruto handed Ichiraku Ramen a suspiciously large sum.
He still had no idea where he got that much money from
"You… do you even have the money to buy a house?" Hiruzen asked, eyeing him suspiciously.
Naruto smirked proudly.
"What do you know, old man? I've got loads! I think I still have a few million ryō left."
"F-Few million?!"
The Third Hokage nearly choked on his pipe.
For a brief moment, he seriously considered assigning someone to manage Naruto's finances before that money mysteriously vanished.
But shaking his head, he waved him off.
"Go on. Buy whatever you want. I'll arrange for someone to help you"
As Naruto strutted out proudly, Hiruzen sighed again, puffing on his pipe.
Then, casually, he activated his secret technique the Telescope Jutsu and began watching Naruto from his crystal ball like a bored old man flipping through TV channels
Naruto, who had just walked out of the Hokage Tower, had nowhere to go.
His apartment had basically been bombed by someone, and it wasn't livable anymore.
So, he decided to take the next logical step
buy a house.
Luckily, he didn't even need to search for a broker.
The Third Hokage had already arranged and contacted someone in advance.
A middle-aged man approached him casually. He had a calm presence and a sturdy frame, clearly a former shinobi.
"You're Naruto Uzumaki, right?" the man asked.
Naruto eyed him cautiously. "Yeah… who's asking?"
"Rinzo Harada. You can call me Harada. I'm your real estate broker. The Hokage contacted me personally."
Naruto blinked. "Oh. So you're the house guy?"
Harada nodded. "Exactly. Shall we begin?
Naruto nodded, a bit surprised by Harada's professional tone.
What confused him more was that Harada seemed to recognize him right away, despite the mask Naruto had taken to wearing around the village.
Most people didn't recognize him in it—which made his life a lot easier.
But thankfully, Harada didn't seem to have any hostile intent. If anything, he was all business.
"I'll show you various properties—homes that are already built and also available land, in case you'd like to build something custom,"
Harada explained. "But first, it would great help to know your requirements and budget."
Naruto scratched his head awkwardly. "Uh… I don't really have a plan or a budget. Just show me the houses. If I like something, I'll buy it."
Harada raised an eyebrow and gave him a look that clearly said, 'Not how this works, kid.'
After a brief moment of staring, Naruto caved. "Alright, fine. Umm… how about 20 million ryō?"
Harada's eyes briefly turned into gleaming dollar signs the moment he heard Naruto budget.
"Haha! I see! You're looking for something spacious then," Harada said, his tone instantly more cheerful and energetic.
"Great! Let's get started. I'll show you some of the nicest properties and land available in that price range!"
He quickly pulled a thick leather folder from his bag and flipped it open, revealing several neatly organized document stacks.
Naruto watched as Harada sorted through them, eventually pulling out three bundles of property listings.
Each came with photographs, details, and locations marked on a map.
"Here we go," Harada said, spreading them out like a card dealer.
"Let me show you a few listings on paper first if any catch your eye, I can take you to see them in person."
1. Central District Residence
