CH 6

The next day, life went on as usual, with Issei still overly excited about the fact that his parents remembered a girl had confessed to him.

Meanwhile, Jin ate breakfast quietly, his mind still preoccupied with the possibility that the girl who had confessed to Issei might be targeting either him or his brother. The timing was too perfect to be a coincidence. On the very day Jin awakened his System, a mysterious girl named Amano Yuuma approached Issei.

Her name sounded normal, but appearances could be deceiving. Jin planned to meet her later that day after school when his brother introduced her. Until then, he could only speculate.

The walk to school was… normal. Yes, perfectly normal.

Jin bumped into Aika along the way, who had returned to her usual perverted self, joking around with Matsuda and Motohama—the other members of the Perverted Trio. The jokes, however, only seemed funny to Aika, as the girls from the Kendo Club promptly beat up the two unlucky boys.

Issei, fortunately, avoided the beating thanks to Jin's presence—something he was so grateful for that he promised to buy Jin lunch as a token of appreciation.

After entering the classroom, Issei headed to his seat by the window, while Jin quietly took his own seat and pulled out a book on mythology.

If the supernatural did exist in this world—as hinted by his System—then studying mythology seemed like a good start. He decided to begin with Greek mythology.

'Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon… The three main gods of Greek mythology. I wonder if they actually exist in this world too.'

Jin read about Zeus—the infamous god known for seducing countless goddesses and mortals alike. Somehow, the situation reminded him of his own, although Jin's circumstances were different. He drank milk to survive, not for pleasure.

'I'm already better than Zeus. At least I have a legitimate reason.' Jin smirked slightly at the thought.

His musings were interrupted when the classroom door opened, and the familiar voice of his first "target" echoed through the room.

"Hahahaha! That was hilarious!" Aika entered with a bright smile, her laughter filling the air as she walked to her seat. She was followed by Matsuda and Motohama, both sporting bruises and dirt-stained uniforms from their earlier misadventures.

Aika seemed perfectly fine—glowing, even—as she approached Jin with a cheerful smile.

"Yo, Jin! Looks like your brother got lucky this time, huh? You're pretty considerate, you know."

Jin glanced up from his book, meeting her gaze. Her skin did seem to have a certain glow, but he quickly brushed off the thought. After all, nothing unusual had happened—at least, nothing he remembered.

Returning her smile, he replied casually, "I just try to keep him out of trouble when I can. But…" He glanced toward Issei, who was now giggling with his friends over an erotic magazine. "…I think it's too late for him. Still, I'll stop him whenever I get the chance."

"So you're not planning to stop him completely?" Aika asked, resting her elbow on her desk as she leaned slightly toward Jin.

"Yes and no," Jin replied, closing his book and placing it neatly on his desk. "I think he might change after this Saturday."

A subtle smile played on his lips, hinting at a deeper meaning.

Regardless of what happened on Saturday, Jin planned to guide his brother down a better path. If Issei ended up with a genuine girlfriend, Jin would teach him how to treat her properly. But if the girl had ulterior motives, Jin would reveal the truth to Issei and push him to train and develop skills to defend himself—even if it meant forcing him to do so.

After all, Jin knew his brother had potential if he put his mind to it.

"Hmm, is that so? Well, I won't pry into your family matters," Aika said with a shrug before turning her attention to the front of the classroom.

Right on cue, the bell rang, signaling the start of class. Jin closed his book and pulled out his notebook, ready to take notes.

'My plan will succeed. I'll make sure of it. I'll live this life to the fullest—until I die of old age, if possible. And to do that, I need to keep drinking milk from strong women.'

Little did he know that his next opportunity would come sooner than expected.

After School - Student Council Room

"Please, have a seat, Hyoudou-kun."

Shitori Sona, the student council president, gestured to the chair opposite her desk. Jin hesitated briefly before sitting down as instructed. Between them was a round table with a chessboard placed neatly on top—the black pieces arranged on Sona's side.

They were alone in the student council room, aside from the vice-president, Shinra Tsubaki, who quietly served tea for both of them.

"Here you go. Please be careful—it's hot," Tsubaki said politely, placing the teacup in front of Jin before stepping back to stand beside Sona.

Jin nodded in thanks and glanced at the chessboard.

'Why am I here again?' he wondered, recalling what had led to this situation.

During lunch break, while Jin was eating with Issei, two of the Great Onee-sama—Rias Gremory and Himejima Akeno—had entered the cafeteria. For some reason, they had glanced at Issei with peculiar smiles, something Jin mentally noted for later.

Shortly after, Shitori Sona had approached Jin directly, requesting that he meet her in the student council room after school. With no other pressing plans besides investigating Issei's new girlfriend, Jin had agreed.

And now, here he was—sitting across from the student council president, who had unexpectedly invited him to a game of chess.

"Thank you for accepting my invitation, Hyoudou-kun," Sona said with a composed smile. "Would you mind humoring me with a game of chess while we talk? If you manage to defeat me, I'll grant you one wish."

Her tone was calm, but there was a glimmer of confidence in her eyes.

Jin's ears perked up at her offer. 'One wish, huh? I can only think of one thing right now…'

His gaze briefly drifted toward Sona's modest chest, and a grin tugged at the corner of his lips. This was his chance to secure another source of milk—and considering what he suspected about the student council president, her milk might even grant him supernatural abilities.

Since awakening his System, Jin had become increasingly aware of the strange individuals in Kuoh Academy. The student council members and the Occult Research Club led by Rias Gremory were far from ordinary. There was no doubt in Jin's mind that they were connected to the supernatural world in some way.

'If I can milk her, I might gain some powerful abilities…'

Suppressing his excitement, Jin reached forward and moved a pawn two squares forward, signaling the start of the game.

"Sounds interesting, Kaichou. I accept your challenge," he said with a confident smile.

Sona's eyes glinted with amusement as she moved her own pawn, mirroring his opening.

"I look forward to a fair game, Hyoudou-kun. Now then, let's talk while we play, shall we?"
