CH 14

Jin spent a few minutes examining his status, noting that it was better than before, while Murayama was still asleep on his lap.

The 5 EXP and Lifespan he had gained from drinking Murayama's milk weren't much, especially when he recalled that he would earn double EXP and Lifespan from someone who had never lactated before.

That meant he couldn't rely on them to level up his System or obtain more Lifespan than he was supposed to. He needed a more effective approach.

And he had already set his target for tomorrow.

I hope my hunch about the Student Council President being part of the Supernatural is correct. But I also hope she won't be strong enough to remember what happens inside the Milking Room. At the very least, she should think it was just a dream.

That was the best scenario he could hope for.

In any case, he had obtained the Swordsmanship skill. Although it was only a basic skill, it was still a combat ability.

Combined with his naturally good physical coordination, it would serve him well in protecting himself.

"Ugh… Hmmm…"

Jin closed the status panel as he heard a soft groan from below. Glancing down, he saw Murayama slowly opening her eyes, shifting around as she regained consciousness.

Their eyes met, and Murayama's face turned red.

"J-Jin-kun?"

She looked around in a panic, quickly realizing that she had been sleeping on Jin's lap. Her blush deepened as she sat up abruptly, covering her cheek in embarrassment.

Still flustered, she turned away, fidgeting in place. Jin gently placed a hand on her shoulder and called out to her.

"Are you okay?" he asked, his voice filled with concern.

Of course, he was only asking out of politeness, but that was enough.

Murayama turned to face him, her cheeks still burning.

"Y-Yes. D-Did I actually faint when we were kissing, Jin-kun?"

Jin couldn't blame her for asking that. He knew that her memories weren't completely intact from the moment they kissed. She must have assumed that she had fainted right afterward.

He smiled reassuringly.

"Yes. Are you feeling okay? Should we end things here?"

Murayama lowered her head, looking guilty.

"U-Um… I'm sorry about that. I-It was supposed to be your reward, but I fainted in the middle of a kiss! How embarrassing…"

"You don't need to apologize. I had a great time walking with you today." Jin replied.

He had already gotten what he wanted. There was no longer a reason to continue accompanying Murayama.

From what he observed, the effect of the Lactation Fog appeared to be temporary. Once a girl stopped being aroused, the effect seemed to dissipate.

That's why it only works on one target per day. And that's why I need to stimulate them first before extracting milk. No wonder Murayama produces more when she's pleasured…

"So, let me walk you home for today, Murayama."

"Ugh… Once again, I'm really sorry, Jin-kun."

"It's not a problem."

Jin stood up and extended a hand toward her.

"Shall we go?"

Murayama hesitated for a moment before nodding and taking his hand.

He helped her to her feet, and they left the park together. As they walked, Jin noticed some couples in the bushes engaging in rather intense activities. Murayama noticed them too but quickly looked away, clearly embarrassed.

As promised, Jin escorted Murayama home before heading toward his own place. The route he took led through a quiet residential area.

The night air was cool, prompting him to slip his hands into his pockets. Looking up at the sky, he saw that it was clear, yet the stars were obscured by the city's light pollution.

"So this is life, huh? At least it's better than floating in the void." Jin muttered with a mocking smirk.

Having spent an untold amount of time drifting in the void, he understood crippling loneliness and the despair of isolation all too well. He never wanted to experience that again.

His Milking System was the perfect gift from Lady Selene. It allowed him to form bonds with women. If it had been a system for bonding with men, he knew how to handle that too, but this one was far more beneficial.

As he passed by the park again—this time on his way home—he was expecting a peaceful walk. However, he was taken by surprise when he noticed a strange man ahead.

Had the man simply been passing by in another direction, Jin wouldn't have given him a second thought. But something was off. The man was heading straight toward him.

Jin narrowed his eyes, heightening his guard. There was something unnatural about him.

What kind of man wears white clothes and a black robe in Japan? And on top of that, he has white hair…

His instincts screamed that this man was dangerous.

His suspicions were confirmed when the stranger suddenly stopped and grinned maniacally.

"Hey, hey… I smell something funny on you, boy." The man leaned forward slightly, sniffing the air like a dog.

Jin's mind raced. He didn't know what the man meant, but he knew this was bad news.

Keeping his composure, he responded politely.

"What do you mean, mister? Do I smell or something?"

Jin lifted his arm and sniffed himself but couldn't detect anything unusual—aside from Murayama's scent, which still lingered on him.

However, the man's face twisted into a grotesque expression. His right eye dilated, while his left eye narrowed.

"Don't lie to me, boy! I can smell it from afar!" The man took a deep breath before stepping back, throwing his arms wide. "I can smell that filthy Devil's stench on you!"

At those words, two particular girls immediately came to Jin's mind.

Devils. The residents of Hell.

So one of them—or both—is a Devil after all…

The man in front of him was definitely from the Supernatural side as well. And one thing was clear: he hated Devils.

Jin didn't know much about the Supernatural, but it seemed that didn't matter to this guy. Without warning, the man pulled something from his pocket—a single stick.

A moment later, light erupted from its tip, forming a glowing sword straight out of a fantasy movie.

"And let me tell you something, boy—no, heretic! I love cutting down those who associate with Devils!"

The man cackled, his laughter filled with madness.

Jin quickly glanced around for an escape route.

But strangely, the park was empty.

Why?

Before he could process the thought further, the man suddenly lunged at him, swinging his Exorcist Blade.

"Die, you heretic! I will save you from the Devil's corruption by killing you!"

"That's dangerous!"

Jin's body reacted on instinct. He rolled to the side, barely dodging the sword's deadly arc.

Springing to his feet, he glared at the man with an awkward smirk.

"Haha… Is this what you meant, Lady Selene? This is pretty messed up, isn't it?"

On the third day of awakening his System, he was already being attacked by a madman. If this wasn't messed up, then what was?

But there was one silver lining—his opponent seemed human. That meant he still had a chance.

His gaze shifted to the glowing sword in the man's hand.

That weapon could be useful in the future… Maybe I should try to take it. If not, running away is my only option.

Steeling himself, Jin raised a hand in front of his chest and extended his middle finger.

"Come and get me, you bastard."

The universal gesture of provocation worked perfectly.

The man's face turned red with rage as he growled.

"Alright… I'm going to kill you slowly, you little shit!"
