In the tranquillity of the sub-dimension created by Dune, life was slowly but surely taking shape. The landscape was heavenly, with vast expanses of green, towering mountains, crystal-clear rivers and abundant wildlife roaming the vibrant wasteland. The trees looked deep blue, their leaves sparkling like diamonds in the sunlight. The lush vegetation seemed to be constantly growing, spreading endlessly across the dimension. But, although the beauty of the place was undeniable, the essential elements for creating an empire were still missing. This was only the beginning.
Erd watched, satisfied but also eager for progress, as his dream took its first steps. The sub-dimension was gradually filling up, and the races he had recruited were beginning to establish their living quarters. The land seemed ready for construction, but Erd knew that it would take more than just buildings to create an empire. It needed a people, a culture and laws. Dune, though silent, was discreetly monitoring developments, her gaze always piercing, even when she said nothing.
Integrating the races: a blend of strengths and talents
The first to join Erd were individuals who had been attracted by its power and the promise of a new future. Among them was Lyssia, a Black Elf, who made a majestic entrance. She had skin as dark as ink, penetrating violet eyes and astonishing agility. Lyssia was an expert archer, her magic arrows capable of piercing any armour. But beyond her skills, it was her discretion and calm that made her a valuable member of the team. She blended perfectly into the shadows, invisible to enemies, an invaluable asset on spying or protection missions.
Grokh, the half-orc, brought a raw power that made all the difference in a fight. Although he was tall and imposing, he never seemed to lose his compassion for those around him. His minor regeneration allowed him to quickly return to full health after a fight, and his ability to enter a state of berserk rage made him a real asset in close combat. His presence commanded respect among the others, and Erd knew that his role in the army to come would be crucial.
Torvald, the dwarf blacksmith, was a master craftsman and the creator of the empire's first buildings and artefacts. He single-handedly designed legendary weapons and forged armour as solid as it was beautiful. His skills combined magic and metal to create equipment of unrivalled quality. He immediately set about building the first structures in the sub-dimension, using his skills to forge materials capable of withstanding the most powerful forces. His forge, a huge magical forge, had become the beating heart of the empire.
Intensive training with Dune
Meanwhile, Erd was not idle. Although he was now a being of immense power thanks to his Sanctuary skill, he knew he had to continue to perfect his skills. His simulated battles with Dune had become a daily routine. Dune, calm and distant, used her powers to test Erd's abilities, teaching him the subtleties of controlling magic.
One day, after a series of combat simulations, Erd felt a change. During a simulated battle, he used his recently improved Analysis skill. He could now analyse not only the monsters, but also his allies. His gaze fell on Dune, and he decided to take this analysis a step further.
Dune stood motionless, her eyes glowing golden, waiting her turn. Erd activated his Advanced Analysis skill. This time, he could see more than just information. Dune's statistics appeared in front of him, detailing her incredible powers. An idea of what she really was then dawned on him. He realised that he had only scratched the surface of her abilities.

Erd was speechless. He knew she was powerful, but to see such a range of skills... A question popped into his mind: Why did she reveal all this to me?
---
Dune slowly turned her head towards him, as if she had heard his thoughts. "Don't worry, Erd. The pact we've made binds me to you, but that doesn't mean I'm hiding things from you. I want you to grow stronger, faster."
Erd nodded. He had never met such a wise and powerful creature. His powers were immense, but he had not yet been able to understand how to master them fully.
Undaunted, Erd concentrated and activated his own Analysis skill. He searched his own repertoire, not content with his evolution, but with the path he needed to take to become more powerful. He had an almost infinite capacity for mana thanks to his Sanctuary, and now he felt that his skills were about to evolve to another level.
While analysing Dune, Erd noticed a skill he'd never imagined possible: Spatial Distortion. It was a weak version of Dune's space magic, but enough to allow him to manipulate space at a more basic level. He immediately copied the skill into his repertoire.
Erd turned to Dune, a barely perceptible smile on his lips. "I think I'm ready to use this skill, Dune." He hadn't tested Spatial Distortion yet, but he felt a strange familiarity with the power.
Dune nodded slowly. "Be careful not to cause any disturbance in the sub-dimension."
Erd nodded and concentrated his mind. A moment later, he felt the space around him distort slightly, as if reality itself were bending under his will. He opened his eyes and looked at Dune, a glint of satisfaction in his eyes. "It's... incredible."
New recruits and the development of the empire
As Erd continued his training with Dune, they were joined by the other members of his empire. Lyssia, Grokh and Torvald played key roles in the expansion of what would become a powerful kingdom. Lyssia began training an elite team of archers and assassins, specialising in silent attacks. Grokh began building fortifications and magical protection for the base, while continuing to test his limits in training battles. Torvald, always hard at work, forged ever more powerful equipment, even outside his working hours, to ensure that the empire lacked for nothing.
Erd knew that the key to empire-building was a balance of skill, power and cooperation. The races he recruited were there to support his vision, and each of them made a valuable contribution to the community.
