The Sanctuary Judgement

1 - The adventurers' battle against the summoned monsters

The battlefield was a living hell.

The adventurers, in defensive formation on the ramparts and on the ground, faced a tide of summoned creatures.

- Don't back down!" shouted a captain as he slashed a monster with his sword.

Mages incanted showers of fire and lightning, while archers covered the combatants with swift, accurate fire.

But the monsters kept multiplying.

- We'll never be able to kill them all! cried one soldier, narrowly avoiding a sharp claw.

Then a wave of divine energy swept across the battlefield.

Everyone felt an overwhelming force spreading around them.

2 - The Power of Sanctuary and Space Domination

Erd stepped forward, his gaze icy and determined.

He slowly closed his eyes, then opened his arms.

A golden aura exploded around him.

- Sanctuary.

Space itself shook.

A barrier of light covered the city and the battlefield.

The monsters howled in pain under the purely divine light, their flesh burning as they came into contact with the sacred energy.

As for the adventurers, they felt a new strength wash over them.

Then Erd raised his right hand.

A black dot formed in the air, and reality seemed to bend around him.

- Space Domination.

The mechanical lizard, which was about to attack, found itself trapped.

The air around him froze, as if time itself refused to move forward.

- You can't run away any more.

3 - Abyssal attack of light and ice

Erd raised both hands, and immeasurable energy gathered around him.

His left arm was covered in an icy mist, while his right arm shimmered with a dazzling light.

- It's all over.

A gigantic magic circle appeared beneath his feet, engraved with archaic runes.

He lowered his arms.

- Mirror of Nothingness: Apocalypse Astra.

A pillar of light and ice slammed into the mechanical lizard.

The impact was cataclysmic.

The air shattered under the shockwave and the adventurers were thrown backwards.

A storm of ice swept across the battlefield, while divine light consumed the ground.

And then...

Silence.

4 - The Lizard survives, but is badly damaged

When the dust settled, a staggering figure emerged.

The mechanical lizard was still standing.

But it was ravaged.

Its metal carapace was cracked in several places, exposing a glowing core of energy.

Its mechanical eye flickered, and sparks flew from its joints.

- He's still standing...?! exclaimed a terrified adventurer.

Erd remained impassive.

He simply clenched his fist.

- Hmph... interesting.

5 - Lila returns with improved Artemis threads

As the mechanical lizard slowly backed away, a clear voice came from behind Erd.

- Erd!

He turned his head.

Lila was running towards him, carrying an object wrapped in a thick cloth.

She stopped in front of him, a proud smile on her face.

- Look what I've done.

She unfolded the cloth, revealing the threads of Artemis, but with a new brilliance.

They sparkled with a divine glow, vibrating with an unprecedented power.

Erd reached out and gently took them.

- You've exceeded my expectations.

An idea crossed his mind.

He joined the two threads, slowly intertwining them.

A shape began to take shape...

An immense bow, forged by the fusion of the divine threads and his own energy.

An unrivalled weapon.

Erd raised the bow and smiled slightly.

- With this... we can start the real hostilities.
