 "Okay,I will be on my way now", said Micheal.

 "Bye, see you next time", said John.

Then Micheal left

Later at eve, aunty peace wasn't at home. Alex was still doing the laundry . Victor was with thonia inside her room.

 "Thonia, how are you doing?",he asked.

 "Am fyn", she replied.

 "Are you hungry,I can get you food to eat",he asked.

 "No am not hungry, just get me a cup of water to drink ", she replied.

 "Just a cup of water?",he asked.

 "Yeah just a cup of water ", she replied.

Then victor hurried and went to get the water for thonia. Within a short while,he brought the water for her and she drank it.

 "Thank you Victor ", said thonia.

 "You are welcome.you sure you are not hungry?",he asked again.

 "I said am not hungry ", she replied.

 "Okay that's fine ",he said.

 "Where's Alex?", she asked.

 "Mummy gave him plenty clothes to wash, and Michael too asked him to wash his clothes ",he replied.

 "I think I will go help him out ", said thonia as she tried to get up from bed.

 "No thonia, you need to rest and the doctor said you shouldn't be stressed out ", said Victor.

While they were still discussing, the door got open and Michael walked in.

 "What's going on here?",he asked.

 "Nothing, it's thonia she wants to go help Alex in the washing ", replied Victor.

 "What is wrong with you, you are not happy you are resting right?", asked Micheal.

She never say a word to him,she was just silent.

 "Anyway, Alex is done with the washing.i think he's spreading the clothes.so don't worry he's going to come stay with you"said Micheal.

 "See!,Alex is almost done", said Victor.

Then they heard the horn of their mom's car.

 "Mom is back", said Victor.

 "Come on let's go downstairs", said Micheal.

So they both left the room. When they got outside, they saw Alex offloading some stuff that their mom came back with from the boot.

 "Welcome mom!", said Victor as he rushed to hug her.

 "How are you doing", she asked.

 "Am fine mummy", she replied.

 "Okay just help take this things inside, I've got a surprise for you",she said.

 "Wow!, mummy got a surprise for me",he said as he took the little he could carry and hurried inside.

When they got to the sitting room, they began to open all the bags that was packed in the sitting room.

 "Mummy where's the surprise?",he asked.

Then she gave him a little bag and asked him to open it.immediatly he opened it, he say a blue control motor toy.

 "Wow,a control motor toy, thank you mummy",he said.

 "Mom,who is this note books and school bag for?", asked Ifeoma.

 "It's for Victor,he would be going to school tomorrow", she replied.

 "Wow,mom is it a government school?", asked Victor.

Meanwhile they were attending a government school before.

 "No it's not a government school.its a very big school here in town.it has a play ground, football field. don't worry you will see for yourself when we get there tomorrow ", said aunty peace.

 "Wow, Victor you are happy to be going back to school after staying at home for all this while right?", asked Micheal.

 "Of course I am.but mummy,who would be taking me to school",he asked.

 "I would take you there tomorrow morning.but the school bus would be taking you to school and also bring you back home.i also got you the school uniform ",she replied.

 "So I would no longer be treaking to school anymore ", said Victor.

 "So mum, when would me and ifeoma be going back to school? asked Micheal.

 "I will know what to do what the time comes. I guess you two would first write the SSCE examination and jamb also.and when you two pass the examination,then you two would be given admissions into the university", said aunty peace.

 "Wow! said Ifeoma.

 "Where's Alex,I thought I just saw him here", asked aunty peace.

 "He has gone back to the back yard to continue the washing", said Victor.

 "So he's not done with the washing?", asked aunty peace.

 "No mummy he's not", replied Victor.

 "How lazy he is",she said.

 "Go And call him to come take this food stuffs to the kitchen ", said aunty peace.

 "Okay mummy", said Victor as he ran to the back yard with his control motor toy.

As he got to the back yard,he saw Alex sitting down meanwhile he was done with the washing.

 "Alex look!, mummy got me a control motor toy ",he said.

 "Wow! , where's the remote", asked Alex.

 "Here it is", said Victor.

 "It's really cool", said Alex.

 "Guess what Alex?", asked Victor as he was smiling.

 " What is it,am really not good at guessing",he said.

 "I would be going to school tomorrow",he replied.

 "Seriously?", asked Alex.

 "Of course, mummy had actually registered me at bright future hope school, and she bought me books and even new shoes and school bag",he replied.

 "Wow that's a good news. I know you are happy now ", said Alex.

 "Yeah am really happy.anyways, mummy asked me to come call you to take the food stuffs she bought to the kitchen ", said Victor.

 "Alright let's go ", said Alex as he followed Victor to the sitting room.

 Later at night, everyone had gone to sleep,Alex went to their room to sleep.he saw that thonia was sleeping so he sat on top of the bed and immediately thonia opened her eye and saw Alex sitting on the bed.

 "Alex, you are done with the laundry", asked Thonia.

 "Yeah Am so tired and hungry",he replied.

 "Haven't you eaten since morning?", asked Thonia.

 "I have, but it was so little and wasn't enough",he replied.

 "Don't worry okay!, maybe you would find something better and much to eat tomorrow", said thonia.

 "I wish so", said Alex.

 "So Alex,why were they all rejoicing in the sitting room ", asked Thonia.

 "Victor would be going to school tomorrow.aunty peace registered him in bright future school ", replied Alex.

 "Wow, that's the school we attended when we were still in primary school, it's really a big school.", said thonia.

 "Wow so you still remembered", asked Alex.

 "Why not, what about Micheal and ifeoma?",she asked

 "I don't know but I think I over heard them discussing about the SSCE examination and jamb ", replied Alex.

 "That's good for them", said thonia.

 "I guess we are not going back to school anymore ", said Alex.

 "Don't worry Alex, I believe everything that has a begining has an end also ", said thonia.

 "I believe too", said Alex.

So they both said their night prayer and went to bed.
