My husband took our daughter shopping, and in the blink of an eye, she vanished.
The next day, the kidnappers sent us one of her fingers, demanding $10 million for her release.
I desperately begged them not to harm her further. When I turned to my husband for the money, he hung his head low:
"All our funds are tied up in a new venture. We don't have that kind of cash to give them."
