017: Angry Dragon Flame and Rules

It all happened in the blink of an eye; Lilith didn't even see clearly what had occurred.

By the time she regained her senses, the bandits in the forest had all fallen to the ground, their bodies charred black like coal.

Lilith could hardly believe what she was witnessing.

Is this... a miracle?

Have the gods... truly manifested?

Unable to dwell on these thoughts, she hastily pulled at her tattered dress and then helped Harak up, cradling him in her arms.

"Harak!"

"Harak, wake up!"

"Harak, we survived! The bandits are dead!"

"Wake up, please... sob…"

She called Harak's name over and over again, but the young knight in her arms remained unresponsive.

Tears finally flowed uncontrollably, dripping down onto the young knight's face.

"I admit my mistakes."

"I won't dare anymore. I swear, from now on, I'll stay in the estate, work on embroidery, and learn how to manage it. I'll stop dreaming about nonsense ever again."

"Please, come back to life. Have mercy, I beg you."
