Synopsis - White Phantom

Bai Shen turned sharply. "Come out."

A figure emerged from the darkness.

A woman, dressed in deep blue robes, her face hidden behind a veil. Her posture was relaxed, but Bai Shen could tell—she was dangerous.

She was the one who had set off the explosion.

The woman studied him for a moment. Then, in a voice as smooth as silk, she spoke:

She took a step forward. "You're after the Shadow Sect, aren't you?"

Bai Shen's fingers twitched. She knows.

The woman chuckled softly. "A ghost, just like you."

Bai Shen frowned. Was she an enemy? Or something else?

"If you're against the Shadow Sect," she continued, "then our goals might align. For now."

Bai Shen wasn't sure if he trusted her. But if she had information, he couldn't ignore her.

She tilted her head. "Enough to know that you're not ready for what's coming."

He had clawed his way through life, honed his skills beyond what anyone thought possible. And yet—he had nearly lost to that masked warrior.

The woman gestured toward the ruined temple. "You felt it, didn't you? The way your Phantom Echo failed?"

The woman smirked as if reading his thoughts. "You're strong, but you still rely too much on sound. Against certain enemies, that weakness will cost you your life."

She was right. He had already started to realize it.

That's why Phantom Instinct had awakened. But even that wasn't enough yet.

"Why should I follow you?" Bai Shen asked.

She glanced back. "Because I can teach you how to fight in true darkness."

A way to fight without relying on his senses at all.
