60 An Unconventional Battle with Karasuba

Time: Three days ago.

Location: MBI President's Office.

"Hey, Minaka, you've been living the good life lately, huh? Looking all radiant and stuff," Sora teased as he sipped the tea served by the attendant.

"Hmph! How could I compare to someone like you? I hear you've been adding quite a few Sekirei to your harem lately," Minaka Hiroto retorted with a hint of jealousy.

"Hahaha, not bad, not bad! But it's all thanks to your leadership, old man. Without you, the Sekirei Plan wouldn't have progressed so smoothly!"

With his strength and the number of Sekirei under his command, Sora was now unmatched by any other Ashikabi. As a winner in life, he didn't mind giving Minaka a few compliments and inflating his ego.

After all, this guy had really put in a lot of effort to get him where he was today!

And, well, he had shamelessly poached two of Minaka's key people…

Though Minaka was used to being flattered, Sora's praise clearly pleased him. Standing by the window, he struck a pose as if to say, "Who else but me could lead this grand plan?"

Sora's forehead twitched as he watched this guy bask in the glory. He really wanted to kick him.

"Ahem! So, old man, I've got something to discuss with you."

Seeing Minaka standing there, lost in his own grandeur, Sora spoke up, feeling a bit exasperated.

"Hmph! I knew it. You wouldn't come here unless you needed something. Otherwise, you'd be off at your secret base, spoiling your little Sekirei."

Minaka wore a smug expression, as if he had seen through everything.

Sora felt a bit awkward. Though he wanted to argue, he realized it was true!

If he didn't need something, why would he waste time with this old bachelor? His Sekirei were waiting for him to comfort them every day!

"Alright, enough chit-chat. Let's get to the point. I've got an idea. Give me two Jinkis." Sora's expression turned serious.

Hearing Sora mention business—and asking for two Jinkis at that—Minaka also became serious.

"You know the importance and role of the Jinkis better than I do. Explain your reasoning."

Though Minaka trusted Sora wouldn't do anything to hinder the plan, as the manager, he had the right and responsibility to understand the reasoning behind any request.

Sora nodded, put down his teacup, and began:

"We're running out of time, so I want to speed up the Sekirei Plan. The sooner we complete it, the more time we'll have to prepare, and the greater our chances of victory."

Minaka remained silent, indicating his agreement. Sora continued:

"Anyway, in the next phase, we'll be handing the Jinkis to some Ashikabi. I've got an idea to move that step forward."

"Oh? How?" Minaka's interest was piqued.

"Right now, aside from No. 6, Homura, all the Sekirei have found their Ashikabi and been winged. As you know, that child's body is unique. She denies herself and opposes the Sekirei Plan, hoping to save her fellow Sekirei from this game with her own hands."

"What if we give her the Jinkis and then…"

After explaining his plan to Minaka Hiroto, a glint of approval appeared in Minaka's eyes. Clearly, he thought Sora's plan was feasible.

Once the discussion was over, the two unscrupulous schemers looked at each other and burst into extremely lewd laughter…

"Heh, Sora, I never thought you'd still be so cunning!" Minaka patted Sora's shoulder with a sleazy grin.

"Hahaha, not at all, old man. You're just as sharp as ever!" Sora brushed off the old bachelor's hand, feigning humility.

"Alright, I approve of this plan. Take the two Jinkis. But, Sora, didn't you say No. 6 would eventually become your Sekirei? Scheming against your own Sekirei—your heart's really black, huh?"

Minaka wore a look of mock disapproval, always ready to take a jab at Sora.

Sora smirked, thinking to himself that he'd even schemed to get Takami and Hibiki into bed. What could Minaka do about it?

Of course, to avoid Minaka's wrath, he kept those thoughts to himself.

"Pfft, what's the big deal? I'm just helping that child understand herself. So what if it's a scheme? I'm doing it for her own good!" Sora put on a righteous front, ignoring Minaka's teasing.

"Hmph! For her own good? More like to expand your harem!"

Having been partners in crime with Sora for so long, Minaka knew exactly what this scoundrel was up to. His face was full of disdain.

However, he didn't linger any longer and headed to the laboratory to retrieve the Jinkis for Sora.

"So, old Minaka, old Minaka, I'm destined to become the King of the Harem, while you're doomed to be a loner for life…"

Watching Minaka's retreating figure, Sora wore a look of feeling.

Well, actually, it was more like gloating!

...

After weighing the two Jinkis in his hand, Sora stuffed them into his pocket and, under the watchful eyes of President Minaka, waved goodbye as he left the president's office.

"Hey? You're here. Are the two of you plotting something again?"

As soon as he stepped out, he ran into a few people, and a teasing voice rang out.

Sora really wanted to shout:

"Who are you, sister? You know me so well!"

Well, but seeing the woman with a sly smile and a long katana in her hand, Sora wisely chose to keep his mouth shut.

The group approaching him was none other than Karasuba, Benitsubasa, and Haihane.

"Master!" Benitsubasa and Haihane walked over and stood behind Sora.

Looking at the two obedient girls, Sora nodded with satisfaction.

"Hey, little crow, they're calling me 'Master' now. You're my Sekirei too, so how about calling me that?"

With his recent surge in strength, Sora was no longer afraid of Karasuba. He thought to himself, You'd better defy me, so I'll have a reason to discipline you!

Surprisingly, Karasuba played along, completely ignoring Sora's provocation.

"You want me to call you 'Master'? Sure, let's have a match!" Her eyes gleaming with excitement, Karasuba reached for her katana.

Sora quickly grabbed her hand. Although he was now strong enough to suppress Karasuba, he didn't want to waste energy here.

This girl was relentless when she got going. Even though he could beat her now, subduing her without causing serious harm would take more time than he was willing to spend.

"Hey, little crow, I've got a great idea. Let's settle this with a different kind of battle today!"

A sly smile spread across Sora's face as he tempted her.

However, Karasuba wasn't particularly interested in this so-called "different kind of battle." For her, the only thing that mattered was combat.

"If you listen to me, I'll bring Yume back to life, and soon…"

Leaning close to her ear, Sora whispered.

A glint flashed in Karasuba's eyes. Even though she knew Sora would bring Yume back regardless of whether she agreed or not, she still found herself nodding in excitement.

"Alright, let's get started!"

With a wicked grin, Sora picked up Karasuba and carried her into a room.

Behind them, Benitsubasa and Haihane stood dumbfounded…

"Benitsubasa, the master's gone. Let's go watch TV," said Haihane, the otaku Sekirei, who wasn't particularly interested in Sora and Karasuba's unconventional battle.

"Hmph! Following the master is my duty!" Benitsubasa snorted coldly and headed in the direction Sora and Karasuba had gone.

"Benitsubasa, you're lying," Haihane muttered, reluctantly following.

The two stopped at the door of the room where Sora and Karasuba had entered. Hearing the faint sound of clothes being torn inside, Haihane remained unfazed, but Benitsubasa's face turned bright red.

Clearly, she had figured out what kind of "battle" her master and Karasuba were engaged in!

Soon, the sound of tearing clothes stopped, replaced by muffled groans from Karasuba, as if she was enduring something.

After a while, it seemed she had reached her limit, and the groans turned into intense moans.

Benitsubasa and Haihane exchanged glances, both wearing expressions of disbelief. If they hadn't heard it with their own ears, they would never have believed that those moans came from their cold-blooded, battle-crazed leader, Karasuba!

Their hearts raced, and their faces flushed. Although they wanted to leave, an inexplicable force kept them rooted to the spot, listening, listening…

One hour, two hours, three hours…

By the end, the moans had become hoarse!

At one point, with a final roar from inside, everything fell silent.

"Ha… ha…"

Both Benitsubasa and Haihane were panting heavily, kneeling on the floor.

Those few hours had been more exhausting than any battle they'd ever fought!

Click! Soon, the door opened, and Sora emerged.

"Hey, little Benitsubasa, little Haihane, your master's out of time today, so I'll let you off for now. Remember to check on your leader later!"

With that, Sora kissed each of them on the cheek and left, looking thoroughly satisfied.

However, if anyone had been paying close attention, they would have noticed that Sora's steps were a bit unsteady…

"Phew… that was close! I almost lost to that stubborn girl. What a shame, though. She'd rather pass out than call me 'Master.'"

"Hmph! I don't believe it. Someday, I'll completely conquer that tough girl!"

As he walked away, Sora secretly vowed in his heart.
