The Holy City

### **Chapter 86: The Holy City

The chapter begins with Sakamoto standing in front of Rajesh, his breath still ragged from the chase, after the realization had hit him ,He quickly explained, "Bartoni and Mujin sent me here to find you." At the mention of Bartoni's name, Rajesh's eyes widened, and he stood up abruptly. "Bartoni?" he repeated, his voice tinged with surprise. "Why did they send you here?"

Sakamoto took a deep breath, his frustration evident. "There's been an event—something big. The whole world thinks I did it, but I swear, I know nothing about it. I'm being hunted for something I didn't do."

Rajesh listened intently, his expression growing serious. He nodded slowly, muttering, "Old times never rest, do they?" He crossed his arms, his gaze shifting to the distance. "The Black Brothers won't stop chasing you as long as they have that tracker, Lucius. We need to move. There's a place we can go—the Holy City."

Sakamoto frowned. "Holy City? Where's that?"

Rajesh turned to him, his eyes sharp. "It's an underground world here in India. A place for all kinds of monsters. If we're going to survive, that's where we need to be." He paused, studying Sakamoto. "First, you need to use the Shen Suppression technique. It'll delay Lucius's tracking, but it won't stop it completely. If he usually needs 20 minutes to track you, this'll buy us an hour."

Sakamoto hesitated, scratching the back of his head. "Uh… I don't know how to use the Shen Suppression technique."

Rajesh's face fell, the disappointment clear. He sighed heavily, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Then get ready to be torn apart. You're going to be fighting a lot."

The two began walking through the bustling streets, the noise of the city surrounding them. People were gathered in clusters, their voices rising in excitement. One man shouted, "One billion dollars?! He's worth a fortune!" Sakamoto's heart sank as he spotted a poster on the ground. His face was plastered across it, the words "Wanted: 1 Billion Dollars" printed in bold letters.

Rajesh glanced at the poster, his expression grim and then he adjusted Sakamoto clothing to cover his face properly . "We need to move. Now." He led Sakamoto down a narrow alley, the sounds of the city fading behind them. They reached a hidden entrance, a trapdoor concealed beneath a pile of debris. Rajesh lifted it with ease, revealing a dark staircase leading underground. "Welcome to the Holy City," he said, gesturing for Sakamoto to follow.

As they both descended, the world above disappeared, replaced by a dimly lit underground realm. The air was thick with the scent of damp earth and something faintly metallic. The Holy City was a labyrinth of tunnels and caverns, its inhabitants a mix of humans and creatures that defied description. Shadows moved in the corners, and the occasional growl or whisper sent chills down Sakamoto's spine.

Rajesh led him to a small shop tucked into the side of a cavern. The owner, a grizzled man with a scar across his face, nodded at Rajesh as they entered. They sat at a rickety table, and Rajesh ordered fried fish and rice, few minutes did pass until they where served,As they ate, Rajesh's eyes never left Sakamoto. He stared into him, his gaze piercing, as if he could see straight into Sakamoto's soul.

"You've got something inside you," Rajesh said suddenly, his voice low. "A hybrid. How far have you gone with it?"

Sakamoto froze, a piece of fish halfway to his mouth. "How do you know about that?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Rajesh leaned back, his expression unreadable. "I can see it. It's chaos. Pure evil. It's a part of you, whether you like it or not."

Before Sakamoto could respond, Rajesh's hand shot out, tapping him on the shoulder. "Time to go," he said, his tone urgent. "They're here."

---

Meanwhile, the Black Brothers had arrived in the underground city. Lucius's eyes glowed faintly as he scanned the area. "They're here," he said, his voice calm but menacing. "I can feel his Shen signature. It's faint, but it's here."

Vodoyme smirked, cracking his knuckles. "Let's finish this."

---

High above, in the skies over India, a headless figure rode a chariot pulled by a massive, headless horse with giant wings. The figure, known as Headless, carried two swords at his sides, their blades gleaming in the sunlight . The headless horse galloped through the air, its wings beating with a rhythmic *WHOOSH*. The aura surrounding them was overwhelming, a testament to their boundless power. They were here and there's no going back, their mission clear and straight.
