Jungkook and Taehyung took advantage of every single minute they had together in Kanagawa. They went to museums, went food tripping, made love, saw tourist attractions, had night walks, had crazy wild sex, went scuba diving, took photos, sketched and did lots of cuddles and hot baths.

The two days flew by quickly and the next thing they knew, they were bidding each other goodbye at the Incheon Airport as Jungkook would be flying for the next four days.

"I'll miss you, terribly." Jungkook said as he hugged Taehyung tightly.

"Sorry I can't go with you this time as I have to attend to my book. But, I'll see you in four days, right?" Taehyung asked.

"I can't wait. I'll call you every chance I get." Jungkook said.

"Okay, enough of that. We need to get going now, Cap." Jin said.

"Jin hyung, please make sure he eats on time and that he gets enough sleep. No calling me during rest breaks on flight, but remind him to call me as soon as you disembark on your destinations." Taehyung said.

"Oh, I wasn't informed that my scope of work now includes babysitting the captain. Am I getting a raise for this, Mr. Kim?" Jin teased.

"Hyuuung." Taehyung whined.

"What did you do to my Taebear that made him this sappy? He wasn't like that before. And, wait are you together now?" Jin hyung asked.

"We're exclusively dating." Taehyung said.

"Pfft. Whatever that means. Let's go boyfie." Jin said.

Taehyung glared at Jin and Jungkook just chuckled at their interaction.

"I gotta go." Jungkook said as he kissed Taehyung while hugging him again.

"Take care, Kookie." Taehyung said.

"You too." Jungkook said before joining the other crew members.

Taehyung just kept his gaze at Jungkook. And, as expected, the latter stopped walking before he turned around the corner, looked at Taehyung and gave him a wink and a casual two finger salute.

God, please bring him back safely to me. Taehyung mentally said before walking away.

As he exited the airport with Namjoon, he saw Eunwoo at the driveway.

"Hyung, don't tell me we're riding with him." Taehyung said.

"No, we have our own car." Namjoon said.

"Good." Taehyung said as he ignored his ex-boyfriend and stood with Namjoon to wait for their car.

"Taeh, let's talk." Eunwoo said.

"There's nothing to talk about." Taehyung said without even looking at him.

"Babe, please. I'm sorry okay? It was just one time. It didn't mean anything. It won't happen again." Eunwoo pleaded.

"First of all, don't call me babe. Secondly, the number of times you had sex with him is irrelevant. You cheated on me, period. I can never trust you anymore. We're over, Eunwoo." Taehyung said.

"We are not over until I say we're over, Taehyung." Eunwoo said, gritting his teeth.

"Oh yeah? Then go fuck with that delusional thought because I'm not going to see you nor talk to you ever again. As far as I'm concerned, we've broken up." Taehyung said.

Eunwoo grabbed Taehyung's wrist tightly and tried to drag the latter to his car.

"Let me go! You're hurting me!" Taehyung yelled.

Namjoon held Eunwoo's arm, twisting it behind his back.

"What the hell, Namjoon?!" Eunwoo yelled.

"Don't you dare do that again. Make sure that I don't even see your shadow around Taehyung or I'm breaking every single bone in your body." Namjoon said as he pushed Eunwoo to his car, forcing the latter to go in the driver's seat, slamming the car door afterwards. He walked back to Taehyung and held his wrist.

"Let me see. Sorry I wasn't quick enough to grab him. That's gonna leave a mark." Namjoon sighed.

"Hyung, I'm okay. It's just a bruise. Thank you." Taehyung said as he held Namjoon's hand.

"Don't go anywhere near him without me, okay?" Namjoon said.

"Don't worry, hyung. I wasn't planning to at all." Taehyung said.

A few minutes later, their car arrived and Taehyung couldn't wait to get home to his condo and rest.

Taehyung arrived at the lobby of his condo building. He was about to go straight to the elevators when the lady at the front desk called him.

"Mr. Kim, You have guests waiting for you at the waiting area." The woman said.

What now? Taehyung thought. "Who?"

"Taehyung." A man said before the receptionist could answer him.

"Oh, hyung! What brings you here?" Taehyung asked his brother.

"I'm sorry, I have nothing to do with this. You can say no." Kim Hyun-Joong said.

"What do you mean?" Taehyung asked.

Hyun-Joong stepped aside and Taehyung eventually saw his father walking towards them.

"What are you doing here?" Taehyung asked.

"Well, hello to you too, son." Kim Ji-Hoon said.

"What do you want?" Taehyung asked.

"Let's talk about it at your place." Ji-Hoon said.

"I don't intend to talk to you long enough to invite you upstairs." Taehyung said.

"Watch your tone, young man. I'm still your father." Ji-Hoon said.

"I said, what do you want?" Taehyung reiterated.

Ji-Hoon sighed. "I'm here to talk to you about the business deal I have with another airline company."

"It's your business deal. So what does that have anything to do with me?" Taehyung asked.

"The deal entails you to get married to the heiress of the company." Ji-Hoon said.

Taehyung looked at his brother as they exchanged knowing looks. Taehyung could see that his brother was fighting his urge not to laugh and that completely made the younger lose it.

Taehyung laughed out loud.

"Is this a joke? I'm gay and you're asking me to marry a girl? Hell, no." Taehyung said. "Why don't you marry her hyung?"

"She's 24, Tae." Hyun-Joong said.

"So, what? He married a girl three years older than me." Taehyung said to his brother while pointing at his father.

"Taehyung!" Ji-Hoon yelled.

"What?!" Taehyung yelled back.

"I'm not going to tolerate you disrespecting me like this." Ji-Hoon said.

"Respect is earned. You can't force it out of someone." Taehyung said. "The answer is no and that's final."

"If you don't —"

"What you'll disown me? I turned my back on you the day my mother died. You'll disinherit me? I can fend for myself. You have no hold on me anymore!! I don't need you nor your money. So, stay away from me." Taehyung said cutting his father.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I'm tired and I need to rest now." Taehyung said as he rolled his eyes on his father. "See you, hyung."

Taehyung walked away and left his angry father behind.

"I told you and you just won't listen." Hyun-Joong told his father.

"He needs to do this for the company." Ji-Hoon said loudly.

"We don't need JJM Airways as much as they need us, so that means we're good." Hyun-Joong said.

"I still own the company and I know what's best for it." Ji-Hoon said.

"Well, I'm the one running the company now and I say we don't need it. We're not as greedy as you are, Appa. So, excuse me too as I need to get back to the office." Ji-Hoon said, leaving his father as well.

"Will see about that." Ji-hoon said before leaving the condo building.

Meanwhile, Taehyung entered his condo annoyed as hell. He threw his bag on the floor and cursed out loud.

He hated the fact that his reality is biting his head off again. First, seeing Eunwoo and then his father. He was too overwhelmed so he cried it all out.

As he cried, his phone started ringing. He ignored it at first but when it wasn't stopping, he decided to check who was calling.

He looked at the Caller ID and it said, Oh Captain, My Captain. Taehyung quickly wiped his tears away and answered the call.

T: Hello?

J: Hey you.

T: Why are you calling me? Shouldn't you be flying by now?

J: Flight is delayed for four hours. Bad weather in Dubai.

T: Oh, so where are you?

J: At a sleeping pod at the airport.

T: So, why don't you sleep then?

J: I can't. I became used to sleeping beside you so I can't sleep without you. Are you home now?

T: Yeah.

J: What's with the tone? Are you not happy I called?

T: I am. Sorry. A series of unfortunate events took place and I just feel so drained right now.

J: You want to talk about it?

T: Not really. I just want to hear your voice.

Taehyung went to his bedroom and hopped on his bed.

J: Taeh, you can tell me anything okay? I would very much appreciate it if you tell me what goes on when we're far away from each other. I'll do the same too.

T: Okay, I will. But, not now. I just want to focus on you at the moment.

J: Okay, whatever you want, bear.

T: You want to sing with me?

J: Sure, what do you want to sing?

T: Hmmm, what about a Lauv song?

J: Never Not?

T: Yes! Okay. I'll start.

Taehyung started singing and after the first stanza he stopped and waited for Jungkook to begin. However, all he got was dead air.

T: Hey, did you fall asleep?

J: No, I died and gone to heaven.

T: Huh? What? Why?!?

Taehyung laughed.

J: Your voice. It's so beautiful, Taeh. Now I know how angels sound like when they sing.

T: You're exaggerating.

J: No, I'm not. It's really beautiful, Taeh.

T: Thank you. Now, can we continue?

J: Okay, can you sing the first stanza all the way to the chorus please?

Taehyung sang. And then Jungkook didn't sing again after him.

T: Kook! It's your turn!

Silence.

T: Jungkook?

No answer. Taehyung listened intently and heard soft snores. He blushed and giggled at the thought of his voice making Jungkook sleep. But, instead of ending the call, Taehyung sang on until sleep overcame him as well.

Jungkook woke up two hours later, with his phone on his chest.

"Shit! Hello? Taehyung, you still there?" Jungkook asked and then looked at his phone. He saw that their lines are still connected.

"Taehyung? Bear? Love? Future boyfriend, fiance, husband?" Jungkook said, grinning widely as he imagined the younger sleeping.

"Sleep tight, my baby bear. I'm sorry I have to end the call now. I'll call you when we get to Dubai. Lay over is four hours so we have enough time to talk again. I'll miss you. Good night." Jungkook said before ending the call and exiting the pod.
