15 HERE FOR YOU

The doorbell rang at Jungkook's house and the pilot knew it was Jimin amd Yoongi. He opened the door for them and let them in.

Yoongi patted Jungkook's' back before they all headed to the living room.

Jungkook narrated to them what happened and what his mother told him.

"Taehyung has been carrying his anger towards your eomma since the day his mother died, Kook. He has to know the truth." Jimin said.

"But how do we tell him when we don't know where he is right now? Do you have any idea where he could possibly be?" Jungkook asked.

"The first place he would go to would usually be my condo, but I already checked with the front desk and Taehyung didn't go there." Jimin said, covering his face with his hands.

"Don't worry Jimin. I'm sure Namjoon would find him." Yoongi said.

"I can't just sit here and do nothing. Yoongi hyung, Jimin, can you stay with eomma first? I'll try to look for Taehyung too." Jungkook said.

"You are in no condition to drive, Kook. Let's all just stay put and wait for news from Namjoon." Yoongi said.

"I'm going to go crazy if I stay here for another minute, hyung. I'll just check out all the cafes and hotels nearby and then I'll come back." Jungkook said as he grabbed his coat. He took out Taehyung's keys from his pocket and then looked at it.

He looked closely at the keys.

House, car...but, what are the the other keys for?

"Jimin? Would you know what these three keys are for?" Jungkook showed the set of keys to Jimin.

"This one's for the office, my place and the last one is for Taehyung's mother's columbarium case." Jimin said.

Jimin and Jungkook looked at each other and they instantly knew what it could mean.

"Which columbarium is it?" Jungkook asked.

"Seoul Cemetery." Jimin said.

"I'll go straight there. Please call Namjoon hyung about it and see if he's already nearby." Jungkook said as he rushed out of his place.

Taehyung sat down in front of his mother's ashes and cried.

"Eomma, I don't know what to do. It hurts. This is so unfair. Just when I thought I found the right one for me, he happens to be auntie Jung-ah's son. I know that he had nothing to do with it, but it's too hard to accept, eomma. How can I look at him now if I'd be reminded of his mother? It's so fucked up, eomma." Taehyung said as he sobbed.

He then reached for his necklace where a spare key of his eomma's case was safely placed inside a locket. He took out the key and opened the case.

He then took out the picture frame with a photo of him and his mother. The frame came from his mother's room and he was the one who placed it in Hee-ae's case before.

Taehyung hugged the frame and sobbed. After a few minutes, he was about to put it back when he noticed a piece of paper hanging at the back of the frame. So, he opened the frame and found a folded paper with his dad's name on it, handwritten by his mother.

Taehyung unfolded the paper and didn't care anymore it it was for his appa. He started reading the letter.

By the time you read this, I would probably be long gone. I just wanted to say that I forgive you for all the mistakes you've done. You've been asking for my forgiveness for a long time, but I didn't have the heart to tell you that I do forgive you. Perhaps, I wanted you to suffer more, and for that I'm sorry. I'm sorry too for not being strong enough to stay with you, Hyun-joong and Taehyung. I was too scared to face the pain that my condition will eventually bring me. I have stage 4 liver cancer, and according to the doctors, I won't have much time left in this world. I know that if I stayed longer, you and our babies will suffer, seeing me in pain. Taehyung cried harder after reading the letter.

So it wasn't auntie's fault?! Eomma was sick?! Oh my god, I was so mean to her all this time. How am I supposed to face her now? Taehyung, you have to fix this.

Taehyung quickly folded the paper and placed it on his back pocket. He placed the picture frame back, locked the case and ran out to go to the car.

As he was nearing the parking lot, He tripped and sprained his ankle.

"Shit! I'm so fucking clumsy." Taehyung tried to stand up, but fell back down. He hissed in pain as his sprain was quite bad.

Just then, it started to rain. The rain was pouring hard and Taehyung was starting to feel cold. The temperature is currently at 10 degrees celsius and the younger was not properly clothed for it. He knew he had to get to the car or else it's not going to be good for him. So, using his knees and two hands, he slowly crawled to the car.

As he got to the driver side, Taehyung pat his pockets for the car keys and was surprised that it wasn't there. He checked if the car was unlocked, but it wasn't. He then stood up on one leg and looked inside the car and that's where his heart sank. He left the keys inside it.

Great, just great, Taehyung.

Of all the days to repeat this stupid mistake, why now?!

Taehyung said to himself. This has happened to him countless of times that's why he was not too fond of driving alone.

He was starting to shiver as its been almost twenty minutes of being drenched in rain water and in cold weather. He's also starting to get drowsy, so before he could totally lose consciousness, he looked around for a dry place to stay at. He saw a waiting shed nearby and skipped towards it on one leg.

Taehyung laid down on one of the cement benches and closed his eyes. He was getting exhausted and as he slowly drifted to sleep, his thoughts went to his beloved boyfriend.

Namjoon arrived at the cemetery first. He grabbed an umbrella, jumped out of the car and ran as fast as he could to the columbarium. He knew the exact location of Hee-ae's ashes since he's been there with Taehyung before. However, when he got there, he didn't find him there.

He grabbed his phone and called Jungkook.

N: Jungkook! He's not here.

J: What?! Hyung, I just got here at the parking area and my car's here. He might be there somewhere.

N: Okay okay, I'll look around.

Jungkook ended the call and parked Taehyung's car properly. He immediately got out, not caring about the pouring rain and ran to his car. He looked inside and didn't see Taehyung there.

Shit! Taehyung where are you?

Jungkook looked around and that's when he saw someone curled in a ball, on the waiting shed.

"Taehyung!!?" Jungkook yelled as he ran to the shed.

He touched Taehyung and noticed that his body was shaking, his hands were so cold.

"Love?! Love, wake up please." Jungkook said.

"K-kook, c-cold." Taehyung mumbled.

"Yes, I know, baby. I got you." Jungkook immediately scooped him up and carried him back to the car. Jungkook laid him down carefully at the back seat and removed Tae's wet top and grabbed a jacket he found at the backseat as well. He placed it over Taehyung and quickly went to the driver's seat.

He started the car and opened the heater. He then called Namjoon.

J: Hyung! Hyung I found him but he's drenched. I'm driving to the hospital now.

N: Thank god! I'll meet you there.

Jungkook's heartbeat was racing madly as he drove fast.

"Love, can you hear me?! Stay awake okay?!" Jungkook said.

No response.

"Taehyung?! Please answer me, baby." Jungkook said.

Nothing.

Jungkook was getting anxious so he drove faster. Ten minutes later, he's reached the hospital and stopped the car at the ER entrance. He went down, and yelled.

"I need help here, please!"

He opened the back seat and carried Taehyung.

Two nurses came out with a stretcher so Jungkook placed Taehyung down on it. He told one of the nurses what happened and they wheeled in Taehyung to the emergency room.

"Sir, you have to stay on the waiting area. We will call you when needed."

Jungkook just nodded and stood still. He was drenched in rain water as well, but he ignored it.

Suddenly, he heard someone call him.

"Jungkook oppa?" Jungkook turned around and found his half sister, Jeon Hye Win. She was a doctor there.

Jungkook just looked at her as he didn't know what to say. It's been more than a decade since they last saw each other. They were never close as Jungkook himself didn't want anything to do with the Jeon family. But, here was his sister calling him oppa.

"Oppa, why are you here? Did something happen?" Hye Win softly asked.

"I-I brought my b-boyfriend." Jungkook finally said.

"Can I get his name so I can check on him myself?" Hye Win said.

Jungkook nodded. "Kim. Kim Taehyung."

"Oh, Taehyung's your boyfriend?" Hye Win asked as a small smile appeared on her face.

"You know him?" Jungkook said.

"Y-yes. He was supposed to be my fiance." Hye Win said.

"What?!" Jungkook gasped.

"Don't worry, oppa. Both of us said no to it. I have a boyfriend too, and no one has the right to marry me off with someone else." Hye Win smiled and patted his brother's back.

"You're drenched oppa. Wait for me at the waiting area. I'd go grab some dry clothes for you. I'm sure my boyfriend won't mind. He's a doctor here too, by the way." Hye Win said. Before she could leave, Jungkook held her wrist.

"Hye Win, thank you." Jungkook said.

"You're welcome, oppa. I'm here for you, you know?" Hye Win smiled at her brother again before she left.

Jungkook's eyes watered. He felt guilty that all these years, he distanced himself from her, not knowing that his sister looks at him as her older brother. He sighed and walked to the waiting room...his thoughts back to the love of his life, hoping and praying for him to be okay.
