Ji-Ah woke up feeling drained, her body sore from the previous night. She let out a quiet groan, shifting slightly, only to feel Evelyn's arms tighten around her waist.
"You're not sneaking away," Evelyn murmured against her skin, voice still laced with sleep.
Ji-Ah sighed, trying to push her off. "I'm already late because of you."
Evelyn smirked without even opening her eyes. "And whose fault is that?"
Ji-Ah turned her head to glare at her. "Yours!"
Evelyn chuckled. "Then make it up to me now."
Ji-Ah's eyes narrowed. "Make it up? You're the one who kept me up all night!"
Evelyn rolled on top of her, pinning her down effortlessly. "Exactly. You ignored me all day yesterday, so I had no choice but to remind you who comes first."
Ji-Ah groaned, trying to push her away. "I have to go to work!"
Evelyn kissed her shoulder lazily. "Five more minutes."
Ji-Ah swore under her breath but didn't fight it when Evelyn pressed another slow, teasing kiss to her neck. Maybe five minutes wouldn't hurt.

By the time Ji-Ah finally made it to the office, she was nearly an hour late. She walked in briskly, hoping to avoid any unnecessary attention, but luck was not on her side.
"Well, well, well," Kang Seo-jun's voice rang out the moment she stepped into the hallway. "Look who finally decided to show up."
Min Hye-jin peeked from behind him, grinning. "And looking… well-rested, I see."
Ji-Ah shot them a warning glare. "Not a word."
Seo-jun raised his hands in mock innocence. "Hey, we're just surprised. You, of all people, being late? That never happens."
Hye-jin leaned in with a smirk. "Let me guess—Evelyn?"
Ji-Ah turned to walk past them, ignoring their laughter,
Ji-Ah sat at her desk, staring blankly at her laptop. No matter how hard she tried to focus, her mind kept drifting back to last night—Evelyn's touch, her voice, the way she had completely taken control, leaving Ji-Ah breathless.
She groaned, rubbing her temples. Get a grip, Ji-Ah. You have work to do.
Just as she was about to force herself to concentrate, her phone vibrated. She glanced at the screen. Evelyn.
She hesitated for a second before answering. "What?"
Evelyn's playful voice came through immediately. "I think someone's missing me already."
Ji-Ah scoffed. "I just reached the office. Don't come and make things harder for me."
Evelyn chuckled. "Oh? So you are thinking about me."
Ji-Ah leaned back in her chair, pinching the bridge of her nose. "That's not what I said."
"But it's what you meant," Evelyn teased. "Do you want me to come over? I can clear your mind."
Ji-Ah sat up straight. "Absolutely not."
Evelyn sighed dramatically. "You're no fun."
"Don't you have work these days?" Ji-Ah shot back. "I haven't seen you actually do anything."
Evelyn hummed. "I work when I feel like it. My company runs just fine without me breathing down everyone's neck."
Ji-Ah rolled her eyes. "Must be nice."
"It is," Evelyn agreed. "Maybe I should take the day off and come see you instead."
Ji-Ah nearly dropped her phone. "Don't you dare."
Evelyn laughed. "Relax. I'll let you work… for now."
Ji-Ah exhaled in relief, but before she could respond, Evelyn added in a low, teasing tone, "But you'll make it up to me later, won't you?"
Ji-Ah quickly ended the call, ignoring the way her face burned.
This woman was going to be the death of her.
