The morning light streamed through the curtains, casting a soft glow over Evelyn's sleeping face. Ji-Ah lay beside her, propped up on one elbow, simply watching her. Evelyn looked so peaceful, her breathing slow and steady, lips slightly parted. Ji-Ah couldn't help but admire her—the way her hair fell messily over the pillow, the faint hint of a smile even in sleep.
She was tempted to steal a kiss, just a small one. But before she could lean in, Evelyn stirred, lashes fluttering before dark eyes met hers. A slow, lazy smile spread across Evelyn's face.
"Still not enough?" Evelyn murmured, her voice husky from sleep. Without waiting for an answer, she pulled Ji-Ah closer, pressing a slow, teasing kiss against her lips. "We had all night to enjoy each other… Do you want to continue?" Her fingers traced lightly down Ji-Ah's arm. "Would it be so bad if you went in a little late?"
Ji-Ah swallowed, feeling the heat rise to her cheeks. She knew that look in Evelyn's eyes—it was dangerous. If she stayed, she wouldn't be able to resist.
"I—uh—need a shower," Ji-Ah blurted, slipping out of bed before Evelyn could trap her any further. She practically ran into the bathroom, heart racing, as she heard Evelyn's soft, knowing laughter behind her.
Just as Ji-Ah turned on the water, she heard Evelyn's phone buzz on the nightstand. A call. Ji-Ah exhaled in relief. Saved by the interruption.
