After careful consideration, Ye Wen decided against it.

If he told Di Tian this information and Di Tian despaired, he might resort to mutual destruction—and that would be troublesome.

However, there were only about twenty Title Douluos active in this era. Who could have been so bold as to provoke Di Tian?

Ye Wen had a rough idea of who it might be. A Title Douluo willing to go to such extremes—this wasn't something even Dugu Bo from the original storyline would do.

On another note, how could Di Tian, who was capable of fighting Xue Yi, a being on par with a divine official, fail to capture a mere Title Douluo? As a former God King, this was quite disappointing.

And yet you still boast so much.

"Very well, since you had your reasons, I won't hold you accountable. But do you remember what the reckless soul-beast-killing Title Douluo looked like?

Once we return, I'll ensure the human world issues a warrant for him. He must take responsibility for this beast tide," Ye Wen said.

Seeing Ye Wen's relaxed demeanor, Di Tian felt somewhat relieved. After all, he didn't want the situation to escalate and affect the Silver Dragon King's recovery.

Who would have thought that merely instigating a beast tide would draw this guy out?

Recalling the scene at the time, Di Tian struggled to describe human appearances—just as humans often struggled to distinguish spirit beasts.

Di Tian hesitated before saying, "He was about my size, but his clothes were tattered and covered in blood."

(_)

Di Tian wanted to continue, but Ye Wen stopped him.

Unbelievable—this sharp-looking, seemingly clever guy had such poor communication skills.

"Just use your soul power to create an image of him for me to see," Ye Wen suggested.

Only then did Di Tian realize there was an easier way, saving him from wasting more words.

Raising his hand, Di Tian began shaping his soul power into a figure—a burly man with a rugged build and ragged clothing. However, he struggled endlessly with the facial features, unable to finalize them.

But none of that mattered anymore. Ye Wen's gaze locked onto the martial soul of the figure.

A hexagonal hammer engraved with a six-pointed star, with a massive hammerhead and a slender handle.

Though a human's martial soul could vary depending on the soul rings obtained, Ye Wen immediately recognized this particular hammer.

Stopping Di Tian's efforts, Ye Wen said, "You don't need to shape it further—I already know who this person is."

Hearing this, Di Tian paused, casually dispersing the soul power and looking at Ye Wen.

This left Ye Wen somewhat confused. What was wrong with him?

After a long while, Di Tian finally spoke.

"Why haven't you left yet?"

Wait, was he really this direct?

Ah, right—Di Tian was a spirit beast and didn't adhere to human etiquette.

Since he'd gone through the trouble of coming here, Ye Wen decided to settle everything in one go.

"There's still another matter we haven't resolved, Di Tian."

Di Tian's brow furrowed instantly. Why was this human so bothersome? So many issues.

Then Ye Wen continued, "Your master has sent her avatar to me for so long now, yet she hasn't contacted me once.

Since we're here, just tell me straight—what do you want from me?"

Outwardly calm, Di Tian's heart raced. This human was terrifying. Barely a century into godhood, and he could already sense the presence of his master's avatar.

Di Tian didn't reflect on how sloppy his method of sending the avatar had been, which had directly aroused suspicion.

What to do? His master was currently in a deep slumber. Should he tell him? No—if he harbored ill intentions, it would be too dangerous for his master.

At this moment, Di Tian's expression was completely blank. He believed he couldn't reveal even the slightest hint of information through his demeanor. In a cold tone, he said,

"If my master seeks you, it's your honor. Just wait patiently."

Unfortunately for Di Tian, humans were far more perceptive than he realized.

Ye Wen immediately noticed something was off—the stark contrast between Di Tian's earlier and current attitudes.

Upon closer analysis, there were only a few possibilities:

1. The Silver Dragon King was severely injured and unconscious, unable to communicate.

2. The Silver Dragon King was secretly observing him, and he hadn't yet met her standards.

3. Na'er was merely a tool created by the Silver Dragon King to monitor him and prevent him from leaking secrets to the divine realm.

Given Di Tian's obvious attempt to cover things up, the first scenario seemed most likely.

If it were the latter two, Di Tian should have shown signs of guilt upon being exposed.

However, the Silver Dragon King…

Once her injuries healed, there was no doubt she would reach God King level.

Moreover, her divine role was incredibly useful—it might come in handy later.

Based on the original storyline, the Silver Dragon King wouldn't fully recover even by Douluo II. There was no rush.

Ye Wen chuckled inwardly. Silver Dragon King, rest and recover well. We'll have plenty of time to chat later.

Feigning resignation, Ye Wen shook his head and left the Lake of Life without lingering, leaving Di Tian to breathe a sigh of relief.

Next, it was time to wrap up the aftermath of the great beast tide.

Humans needed idols to worship and place their faith, but they also needed scapegoats to bear their malice.

To prevent the two empires from secretly smearing the Spirit Hall, it was best to publicly expose the culprit as soon as possible.

Next stop—Spirit City.

Unlike its usual tranquility, harmony, and sanctity, Spirit City was bustling with activity.

The impact of the great beast tide had been immense.

Not only had many branch halls suffered heavy damage, but rogue soul masters had also emerged to exploit the chaos. As an organization that prided itself on justice, the Spirit Hall couldn't sit idly by and quickly dispatched its soul masters to assist.

Many soul masters were coming and going on missions, while others returned heavily wounded, seeking treatment.

With his cultivation level, Ye Wen approached Bibi Dong's office unnoticed.

Time had passed, and Bibi Dong had completely shed her youthful naivety.

Now a Title Douluo, she showed no signs of aging despite the years, exuding an air of noble, intellectual allure.

Even Ye Wen, who was accustomed to beautiful women, found Bibi Dong captivating enough to rank among his top three. His gaze was involuntarily drawn to her, mesmerized.

But he quickly shook off these distracting thoughts.

I'm already married to two women and the father of three children—I can't act as recklessly as I did in my youth, Ye Wen reminded himself.

This mental shift inadvertently caused him to release a faint trace of his aura.

Bibi Dong's jade-like hand paused mid-document, and she glanced toward the door.

Seeing Ye Wen at the entrance, Bibi Dong chuckled softly.

"You've arrived."

"Mm."

Ye Wen feigned calmness, nodding slightly, but for some reason, his heart was racing faster than usual.

Bibi Dong continued handling her documents with practiced ease and asked,

"What brings you here today?"
