This plane war had proceeded smoothly, thanks to the overwhelming force Ye Wen brought with him. His high-level combatants delivered a devastating blow, even causing their strongest nuclear-weapon-level experts to defect. How could they possibly fight back against him?
In just half a year, thanks to Ye Wen's support in terms of power, Magic War Planet achieved an unprecedented unification.
The name "Corgi Empire" was naturally discarded and replaced with "Magic War Empire."
The political system was directly copied from the now well-established framework of Douluo Star.
Though significant changes weren't immediately visible, Ye Wen was confident that within a decade, everyone on this planet would live in abundance and prosperity.
As for future wars driven by humanity's dirty desires, those were no longer Ye Wen's concern. As long as everything remained under control—and as long as it wasn't something he actively instigated—as long as his side benefited, that was all that mattered.
Another six months passed, and the promotion of the Pantheon proceeded smoothly, successfully becoming the state religion of this newly established empire. It provided the gods of Douluo Star with an immense amount of faith energy.
Ye Wen had meticulously live-streamed the entire process of this war to Douluo Star.
Though it might seem cruel, countless soul masters were thrilled by what they saw—it was exactly what they desired.
At its core, regardless of morality, the soul master cultivation system was inherently about plundering other lives to further one's own advancement. Thus, soul masters were naturally inclined toward aggression and bloodlust.
However, as they progressed further, every soul master would eventually come to understand the importance of cultivating one's mind, gradually altering this abnormal state. Otherwise, they'd never reach the godly realm.
"Sigh~ Finally done. Plane wars are such a hassle."
Sitting in his personal office, Ye Wen stretched lazily, feeling a bit uncomfortable. As a perfectionist, he had been deeply invested in this war, expending a tremendous amount of energy.
As fatigue washed over him, his gaze grew somewhat vacant.
"It's time to return," Ye Wen muttered softly.
Vast Sea, Ye Wen's personal spacecraft, wouldn't remain stationed on this weak planet for long.
When the teleportation channel reopened, a first-tier spaceship—devoid of any golden patterns—swapped places with Vast Sea, taking its position as a ring around Magic War Planet's sun.
After a year, Ye Wen returned to Douluo Star, greeted by the enthusiastic cheers of all the soul masters.
Following a brief handover, Ye Wen returned to his home.
Seeing Ye Wen sprawled out on the couch like a lazy lump, Ah Yin smiled warmly but said nothing. She knew Ye Wen was exhausted and simply let him rest.
But before Ah Yin could react, she found herself suddenly pulled into Ye Wen's arms, held gently by him.
Breathing in the familiar fragrance of the woman in his arms, Ye Wen took a deep, indulgent breath.
Ah Yin didn't resist, allowing herself to be held like a doll.
After a long while, Ye Wen finally snapped out of it and apologized with a sheepish smile.
"Sorry, Ah Yin. I've been under a lot of pressure."
Ah Yin merely shook her head gently, offering no words of comfort. Instead, she gazed at Ye Wen with tender eyes and embraced him in return.
Years of marriage had cultivated an unspoken understanding between them—no words were needed; a simple look sufficed.
As the couple shared this intimate moment, an unwelcome interruption inevitably arrived.
"That's enough, Ah Wen. The kids are still watching," Bibi Dong chimed in at an inopportune moment. Over the years, her slightly prickly personality had softened somewhat, but not entirely.
Ye Wen simply rolled his eyes.
His wife was his true love; the kids were all accidents.
Besides, his children were already over a thousand years old. Did he really need to consider their feelings when interacting with his spouse?
Speaking of which, none of his children were particularly impressive. Only Ye Tianchen had managed to marry two wives, while his other son, Ye Tianhun, remained obsessed with cultivation, living the life of a single noble.
As for his four beloved daughters—they were his precious treasures. They could marry whenever they pleased, and there was no one unworthy of them.
Moreover, they had already ascended to godhood, with nearly infinite lifespans. They had plenty of time to choose carefully rather than settling for less.
As for his two disappointing sons, even though Ye Tianchen was married, he was still useless.
After all these years, neither of his daughters-in-law had conceived.
Though it had been difficult for his wives to conceive in the past, it hadn't taken thousands of years for them to bear fruit.
Perhaps this was the trade-off: the more powerful the life, the harder it was to produce offspring.
Forget it. Why dwell on these troubling thoughts?
Ye Wen snapped back to reality, a radiant smile spreading across his face. He retrieved a jade box from his spirit space.
"Ah Yin, take a look. This is a special gift I picked out for you from Magic War Planet."
Ah Yin's eyes lit up instantly. Despite the passage of years, she still retained a childlike innocence.
As for whether the gift inside the jade box was valuable, Ah Yin didn't give it much thought. The fact that Ye Wen had brought her a gift was enough to fill her heart with joy.
As Ah Yin opened the jade box, a powerful aura of life instantly enveloped the entire room.
"What is this!?" Ah Yin gasped, her delicate pink lips parting in shock.
Inside the jade box lay a simple yet exquisitely crafted necklace, radiating an intense aura of life.
At this moment, Ye Wen explained with a cheerful smile, "This is a divine artifact I crafted for you using the Life Gold from Magic War Planet. Its name is 'Radiant Life'. What do you think? Do you like it?"
Ah Yin nodded vigorously. Though she was the Goddess of Abundance, all growth and prosperity stemmed from life itself.
As a treasure condensed from the vitality of an entire planet, its value was beyond imagination.
By now, Ah Yin had reached the pinnacle of first-tier gods, and her discerning eye recognized the necklace's true worth.
Douluo Star also possessed Life Gold, and Ah Yin currently owned quite a bit of it.
But none of it could compare to the sheer vitality emanating from 'Radiant Life'. It was clear that Ye Wen had compressed an enormous amount of Life Gold to create this seemingly ordinary yet incredibly potent divine artifact.
However, ever thoughtful of Ye Wen, Ah Yin soon furrowed her brows with concern.
"Brother, wouldn't taking such a large amount of Life Gold from Magic War Planet negatively impact the planet? If it causes any losses for you, that wouldn't be good."
Ye Wen gently cupped Ah Yin's face and spoke softly.
"What are you worrying about? The essence of external wars is plunder. This is simply my spoils of war."
At this, Ah Yin recalled the 'Rules of the Douluo Star Plane War', which indeed allowed for the seizure of a certain amount of planetary resources, provided it didn't disrupt the planet's normal reproduction and operation.
Her worries instantly melted away, replaced by joy. She handed the necklace to Ye Wen, turned around, and exposed her flawless, porcelain-like neck.
"Brother~ Help me put it on."
