Andre woke up to find Diandra missing from his side. Faintly, he heard the sound of a woman crying.
"Who’s crying at this hour?" he muttered, following the sound.
"Why is Diandra crying in the bathroom? What’s going on?" he wondered aloud, his confusion growing.
He tried to open the bathroom door, only to find Diandra sitting on the floor, her face buried in her hands.
"Di, what are you doing there? Come back to bed," Andre said softly, trying to coax her.
"Why would you do this to me, Andre?" Diandra’s voice trembled with pain.
"What did I do to deserve this?" she screamed, her voice breaking.
Andre was baffled. Why was his wife acting like this? What had driven her to such despair?
"What’s wrong with you?" he asked, his tone a mix of frustration and concern.
