"Kara vs. Carl"
Kara was staring at a huge wave of acid approaching her and quickly raised her hand, pointing at the attack and splitting it into cubes that were sent in all directions, falling to the ground and starting to melt it.
Meanwhile, many buildings around her were destroyed and half-melted.
"I still think your attacks are aimed at my clothes," said Kara as she watched what was left of her shirt start to melt, so she quickly took it off and threw it aside, remaining only with a bikini on her upper body.
"Of course not, my love," Carl responded quickly.
"Then tell that to your face," said Kara, looking at Carl's face, which was filled with excitement and drool as he stared at her chest with enthusiasm.
"Don't worry about that. Soon we'll be husband and wife," said Carl as his arms turned into acid and launched another attack toward Kara.
Kara moved to the side and, using her speed, appeared in front of Carl while delivering a punch filled with Armament Haki as well as magical power.
Carl quickly used the same trick as before, opening his chest. But then Kara opened her palm, and from there, a net emerged trying to destroy him from within.
Carl swiftly split himself in half to dodge it. Then, Kara used her shoulder to strike one of Carl's halves.
"Ugh!" said Carl, feeling the impact and being sent flying.
Meanwhile, the skin on Kara's shoulder started to burn, but she quickly used her magic to remove the acid that had fallen on her. Even so, her shoulder was left slightly burned.
"Tsk. What an annoying ability," Kara said, realizing that even if she could hit Carl, the acid would burn her, even if she had Haki covering her.
"It seems my ability is enough to counter yours, right, my love?" Carl said, getting up from the ground calmly. "After all, even if you divide me into thousands of parts, the acid still retains its properties."
After all, Kara's ability, even though it was destruction or whatever, basically divided everything into cubes, so even if she could destroy the attack, the material it was made of still maintained its function. For example, even if Kara divided a wave of acid, this could end up causing more damage, as it could turn into a rain even harder to dodge.
"Is that what you think?" Kara said calmly, looking at Carl.
"Let's finish this once and for all, my dear. I want to enjoy our wedding night quickly," said Carl, looking at Kara with an excited smile.
"Sigh... Then let's end this already," said Kara as she removed her gloves, which, throughout the battle, had been the only thing that wasn't burned.
"You're taking off your gloves now?" Carl asked, confused as he looked at Kara.
"You know, during that day in Willhill, my ability changed. As long as I use Haki with it, my ability multiplies several times at one point, technically turning everything into dust. The gloves are made in a special way from another world, which prevents me from destroying everything I touch," Kara said calmly. "It's not like a seal or anything, I just don't want everything to turn to dust. But now I do."
"Hahaha, don't be ridiculous, my love. I'm a Logia, nothing can harm me. Even Haki barely can," Carl said arrogantly.
Suddenly, he opened his eyes because he sensed Kara's next move with his Observation Haki, but she had moved so fast that knowing it in advance didn't help. He barely managed to move to the side.
Kara appeared in front of him, throwing a punch from which nets emerged into the air, one after another in just half a second, turning the building behind him into dust. But this attack also struck his shoulder, which also vanished into dust, leaving his arm barely hanging by what remained.
"What!?" Carl shouted in pain, looking at his vanished shoulder in surprise, and quickly looked at Kara with fear, retreating. "You... You... You... How did you do that? Your ability isn't supposed to do that," he said quickly.
"Yes, it does. I told you. If the cubes are small enough, they will look like dust," Kara said with seriousness.
"It doesn't matter if you're my future wife, I won't allow you to damage this beautiful body," Carl shouted as his body began to grow while drops of acid fell to the ground.
Then he raised his now gigantic arm and tried to strike Kara.
Kara dodged the large fist by moving swiftly toward Carl's legs and threw a punch again. Carl foresaw that his leg would be destroyed by that blow, so he quickly left a gap in it for Kara's power to pass through the center. But he miscalculated because Kara created a larger net, destroying Carl's leg as well as part of the island, which turned to dust and fell into the dark pit below.
"Aaaaaah!" Carl screamed in pain as he began to fall sideways. But not before making his useless arm explode, splattering acid like rain.
Kara used Haki all over her body to cover herself and jumped into the sky, raising both arms while clenching her fists together. Then, she struck downward using all her magical power and Haki, creating a massive net above Carl.
Carl, seeing this, knew he was doomed and spoke quickly.
"What a pity, my love. We could have been the couple made in heaven. The new Admiral Legios could have been our wedding witness... What nonsense," he said as the net fell over him, starting to turn him into dust.
Then, a large hole suddenly appeared in the judicial island, taking up almost a quarter of the island.
Meanwhile, Kara fell to the ground beside the hole, looking at the dust that was starting to be absorbed by the darkness.
"Tsk. Who said I'm bad at using Haki?" she said while being completely protected by it, but her body was emitting smoke as the acid was slowly burning her skin. If she didn't have Haki to protect herself, her bones would be visible by now.
Kara quickly used her ability to remove the acid from herself, but some burns remained, so she sat down to apply a healing cream.
"Tsk. Why do I always have to fight guys who mess with my beautiful skin?" said Kara, remembering when she fought against Akainu. "Who the hell is Legios?" Kara said quickly, thinking about Carl's last words. "And there's also that shift change thing. It looks like those pigs are planning something bad with the Marines," Kara said as she finished applying the cream completely. But she seemed to have overdone it because now she was more cream than Kara.
She quickly got up and started walking while hearing sounds of destruction not far away. It seemed Luffy was fighting on the roof of a building against one of the CP9 guys, so Kara headed to that place.
But she realized that there were no equally dangerous guys left, so she would stay on the sidelines for the Straw Hats to do their work. After all, they needed to grow through these fights. If they were in danger, Kara would intervene.
"Why is that idiot going back to the beginning?" Kara said as she sensed with her Observation Haki that Zoro was running towards the Rocket Man, so she had to change direction to catch him.
"--------
"Why are you so stupid? Don't you know how to follow a simple path?" Kara said as she walked beside Zoro with annoyance.
"I just took the wrong path," Zoro responded, annoyed. "And why are you like that?" Zoro asked as he looked at Kara covered in cream.
"I fought an idiot with an idiotic ability," Kara said as she continued walking.
As they walked, they arrived at the area where Zoro had fought against Death.
"Mm. Is this the guy you fought?" Kara said, looking at Death lying on the ground.
"Yeah. He called himself Death," Zoro said calmly.
Then, Kara began to inspect him. Since nothing was left of Carl to examine and look for clues. Even if there was something left, Kara wouldn't touch it since she was disgusted by that guy. Or rather, she was disgusted.
"What are you doing?" Zoro asked, seeing her check the corpse's pockets.
"Idiot, our job isn't just to cut down everything we come across; we also have to investigate," Kara said quickly. Then, she pulled out a paper full of letters and numbers, obviously encoded.
"Aha," Kara said as she looked at it with interest.
"What's that?" Zoro asked, not understanding any of it.
"Orders from the World Government. It's obviously encoded. We'll have to send this to someone to decode it," Kara said while thinking. "Luckily, I know someone pretty good at these things," Kara said with a smile. Then, together with Zoro, they continued on their way.
