The Arrival of the Marine Hero

In one of the rooms of Galley-La Company, all the Straw Hats were recovering from their injuries while the people outside tried to apologize for blaming them.

"It looks like you're doing better. You slept for two days" said Kokoro as she entered the room they were all sharing. "Wow, even the Pirate King is already fine" she added, watching Luffy eat at full speed.

"No. Since he hates missing meals by passing out after a fight, he learned to eat while sleeping" said Sanji as he looked at Luffy, who had a bubble coming out of his nose with his eyes closed and kept eating.

"Mr. Pirate is amazing!" said Chimney with a smile as her pet followed her.

"By the way, the Log Pose record will be ready in a few days" said Kokoro as she turned to look at Nami, but was quickly surprised to see her completely depressed, lying on the table as if dead. "And why are you like that?" Kokoro asked quickly.

"Even if we have the Log Pose, we can't go anywhere for now. We lost everything we had on the ship: clothes, furniture, and Belmere's tangerine trees because of Aqua Laguna" said Nami, depressed as she drew circles on the table.

"We entrusted everything to an inn" explained Sanji.

"I see. That explains the visitors" said Kokoro while taking a sip of her drink.

"Visitors?" asked Sanji, confused.

Knock. Knock.

"Excuse us, we came to deliver this" said two men as they brought in all the Straw Hats' belongings while apologizing. "Well, when we heard they wanted to assassinate Mr. Iceburg, we confiscated them before Aqua Laguna" one of the men quickly explained.

"Belmere's tangerines!" Nami exclaimed, quickly hugging her beloved tree with great joy. "Don't worry, you did well" she said cheerfully.

At that moment, Robin and Rab arrived, who had gone shopping. Rab had been tending to the Franky Family to help them heal and was also in charge of keeping an eye on Robin, who simply smiled sweetly at her friends.

Suddenly, Franky interrupted, wanting to talk seriously with them. He quickly told them the story of the Tree of Adam and how he used the money he stole from Usopp to buy the wood from this tree. Now he wanted to build a ship for them as an apology, something that quickly delighted them.

Then, Gin entered with a look full of concern and fear.

"Guys, we're in trouble. The Marines found us. No… something worse than that…" Gin said, but before he could finish speaking, something completely destroyed the wall, surprising everyone.

"Who is it?" Rab said while shielding himself from the dust that covered everyone's view.

Then, through the dust, a figure approached them with steady and firm steps as a cloak swayed with each step.

"Are you the infamous Straw Hats?" asked the voice seriously as he entered through the destroyed wall.

The man wore a Marine uniform with the distinctive Justice cloak on his back, while on his shoulders, he bore the rank he held: Vice Admiral. A dog-shaped hat covered part of his face.

"I brought someone who wants to see you" he said while everyone felt nervous about the new enemy who held such a high rank in the Marines. Not only was it a high rank, but he was literally one level below an admiral.

And the last admiral they faced basically played with them as if it was nothing.

But the man ignored that everyone was on guard as his gaze focused on Luffy, who was sleeping peacefully.

"Ah, there you are. As empty-headed as always" he said as he disappeared from everyone's view.

Everyone was quickly terrified by the speed this man displayed, appearing right above Luffy.

"What?

"No way!

"Wake up" said the man as he punched Luffy's head, smashing the table in the process.

Luffy, feeling the blow, quickly woke up while writhing in pain on the floor.

"Aaaah! That hurt" said Luffy while holding his head in pain.

"Hurt? You're made of rubber, that hit shouldn't hurt you that much" said Sanji, surprised.

"Nothing can block a fist of love" said the man as he took off his hat, revealing his face with a big smile. "I heard you've been having fun, Luffy.

"G-g-grandpa?!" said Luffy, surprised and filled with fear.
