December 20th

After accidentally burning the mysterious room, Joey decided to abandon the Fiery Spell. She didn't want to risk setting her own dormitory on fire. The next day, she and Fred returned to the room, only to find it completely transformed into a different spell-practice space. Joey concluded that she had destroyed the original room beyond repair.

"I'm doomed. If Professor McGonagall finds out, I'll be expelled!" Joey fretted, imagining the wrath of her parents if she were kicked out of school for destroying school property.

Fred, however, remained unfazed. "Don't worry. At most, the school will ask your parents to pay for the damages," he said, having learned from years of pranks to keep his mischief within affordable limits.

When no professors came to confront her, Joey reluctantly relaxed. She had a nagging feeling she'd forgotten something, but couldn't quite place it. Soon, her attention was diverted by the unfolding drama between Ryan and Angelina.

Ryan, ever the Ravenclaw, approached the situation with precision and strategy.

The weekend Angelina had planned to go to Hogsmeade with the Hufflepuff boy turned out to be sunny—perfect for a date. Joey, however, was less than thrilled. "Why couldn't it have rained?" she grumbled.

Fred, confused, asked, "What's wrong? It's a great day to hang out by the Black Lake."

Joey shook her head. "I need to go to Hogsmeade."

She was anxious, watching Ryan calmly eat breakfast at the Ravenclaw table. He seemed unfazed, but Joey couldn't shake the feeling that she needed to intervene. She was determined to see if Angelina's suitor was worthy of competing with her brother.

Fred, always up for some fun, quickly caught on. "Let's go to Hogsmeade, then," he said, grinning.

As Angelina finished her breakfast, the Hufflepuff boy, Gordon, approached her, looking flustered. "I'm so sorry, Angelina," he said. "Our Quidditch captain scheduled a practice match with Ravenclaw today. He said their keeper specifically asked to challenge me. If I don't go, I'll be benched."

Angelina smiled warmly. "It's fine, Gordon. I understand. Go ahead!"

Gordon apologized profusely and tried to reschedule, but before he could finish, Ryan appeared, placing a hand over Angelina's mouth.

"Sorry, but the person she likes is me," Ryan said smoothly, his tone calm and confident. "It might not be appropriate for you to keep pursuing her."

Angelina's eyes widened in shock, but before she could protest, Ryan kissed the top of her head. "Don't be mad, Angelina. I'll make it up to you. Let's reconcile, okay?"

The Gryffindor table erupted in cheers, assuming Angelina had finally won Ryan over. Joey, meanwhile, was stunned. Was this really her brother? The same Ryan who was usually so reserved?

Gordon tried to argue, but the Gryffindors drowned him out with their applause. Ryan's Ravenclaw teammates, led by their captain, Davis, quickly stepped in to distract Gordon with compliments about his Quidditch skills.

Once Gordon was gone, Ryan released Angelina, who immediately bit his hand. "When did you become my boyfriend?" she demanded.

Ryan smiled, unfazed. "Didn't you tell me last semester that you liked me? Were you lying?"

Angelina hesitated, caught off guard. She couldn't admit it had all been an April Fool's joke, not with half the school watching. Besides, a part of her was thrilled. Ryan's intelligence and calm demeanor had always impressed her, even if she'd initially pursued him as a joke.

Ryan took her hand, his expression serious. "Angelina, give me a chance, okay?"

Angelina, overwhelmed, nodded. The Gryffindor table erupted in cheers again, and Joey hugged Fred, ecstatic. Her brother had finally won over the girl she adored!

Fred, however, was less thrilled about Joey's enthusiastic kisses. "What about me?" he complained.

George, ever the instigator, teased Fred. "Looks like Ryan learned a thing or two from those books you lent him. Too bad you didn't pick up any tips."

Fred grinned. "Go ask him yourself if you're so curious."

George shuddered. "No way! I still remember what happened in first year."

Fred laughed, recalling how Ryan had once turned him and George into red-haired porcupines after they'd mocked him. Ryan was not someone to be trifled with.

Meanwhile, Joey was over the moon. Her brother and Angelina were together, and all was right in the world. She turned to Fred, beaming. "This is the best day ever!"

Fred smiled, pulling her close. "For you, maybe. But I'm still waiting for my kisses."

Joey laughed, leaning in to kiss him properly. The day might have started with chaos, but it was ending on a perfect note.
