Kai leaned back in his luxurious office chair, watching as the numbers on his laptop screen surged upward. His latest real estate investments had doubled in value, and his cryptocurrency holdings—thanks to his knowledge of the future—were bringing in another nine-figure windfall. He smirked, satisfied.

"Twelve digits now. Not bad."

But for now, there was another matter at hand.

"Lily," he called, turning his gaze toward the young woman standing across from him.

Lily, the stunning blonde college student he'd recently taken under his wing, stiffened at the sound of his voice. Despite her usual confidence, she still wasn't quite used to being around him. Dressed in a casual yet elegant outfit—tight-fitting jeans and a stylish off-shoulder sweater—she looked effortlessly gorgeous.

"Y-Yeah?" she answered, shifting on her feet.

"You said you wanted to start working to repay me, right?" Kai leaned forward, resting his chin on his knuckles. His voice was smooth, teasing.

Lily pursed her lips, clearly determined. "Of course! You've done way too much for me. The car, the condo, the—"

Kai waved a hand dismissively. "Forget about that. You don't owe me anything."

"But I do!" she insisted. "I can't just accept all of this for free. It doesn't feel right."

Kai exhaled lightly, amused. "Alright then. Let's see what you can do."

Lily's "Work" Begins… and Fails Spectacularly

Kai assigned her a simple task: handling a few minor logistics for Aether Dynamics. It should've been easy—sending emails, taking notes, organizing minor schedules.

Unfortunately…

Lily was a disaster.

She misplaced documents, sent an accidental email to the wrong investor, and at one point, nearly spilled coffee on his custom-built, multi-monitor workstation.

"Ahhh! No, no, no!" she panicked, flailing her arms.

Kai barely caught the cup in time, sighing. "Lily…"

She gulped. "Okay, so I may not be the best at this. But I swear, I can be useful!"

Kai smirked. "I think you're more suited to looking pretty and enjoying life."

Lily's face turned red. "I—Wha—?! I'm not just some decorative piece, you know!"

"Really?" Kai leaned in slightly, eyes twinkling with amusement. "Because right now, you're failing pretty hard at everything else."

Lily puffed her cheeks in frustration. "Grrr… give me another chance! I'll—"

Kai suddenly stood up, stretching. "You know what? You can help by making sure I don't collapse from exhaustion. Go get some rest instead."

Lily blinked. "What? But I—"

Kai patted her head, making her freeze.

"You're cute when you try so hard," he murmured before turning away.

Lily stood frozen in place, her face now a deep shade of crimson.

The "Incident" – Accidental Encounter

Later that evening, Kai returned to his penthouse. After a long day of managing business affairs, he just wanted to grab some fresh clothes and relax.

Unbeknownst to him… Lily had just finished showering.

She had insisted on staying at Kai's penthouse, arguing that it was more convenient for work. Now, wrapped in nothing but a towel, she hummed softly as she dried her golden hair in the guest bathroom.

Just as Kai walked into the hallway closet, searching for some fresh clothes—he accidentally pushed open the wrong door.

Where Lily was completely, utterly naked.

For a split second, everything froze.

Lily's long, damp blonde hair clung to her soft, delicate shoulders. Her creamy skin glowed under the soft bathroom light, still glistening with droplets of water.

Kai's eyes trailed down—to the perfect, perky curve of her breasts, rising and falling with her sharp intake of breath. Her waist was slender, her stomach flat and toned, leading down to—

Lily screamed, instinctively grabbing for a towel—but it slipped from her fingers!

Kai, moving purely on reflex, caught her mid-fall.

Unfortunately… his hands landed on something soft.

Lily froze.

Kai blinked. Looked down.

He was palming her bare chest.

"OH MY GOD!" Lily screeched, face turning beet red.

Kai immediately let go, but Lily's hands shot up, grabbing his shirt in panic—which only dragged him down with her.

The next thing he knew, he was flat on the bathroom floor—with Lily on top of him, still half-naked.

Both of them stared at each other, breathing heavily, hearts pounding.

She took one look at the half-dressed, panicked Lily and the casually smirking Kai.

Her eyebrow twitched.

"Kai… what exactly am I looking at?"

Kai chuckled. "A misunderstanding, obviously."

Veronica crossed her arms. "…Uh-huh."

Lily, still dying from embarrassment, immediately threw a shampoo bottle at Kai's head.

"GET OUT!!!"

Kai ducked, laughing as he exited the room.

Aftermath: Lily's Endless Embarrassment

For the rest of the night—and possibly the next few weeks—Lily could barely look Kai in the eyes.
