Chapter 25 - Ella Beats Up a Former Demon Emperor for Being Annoying
Wutian widened his eyes—he hadn't expected Ella to challenge him so directly, completely disregarding him as a proper opponent. This girl was a bit arrogant. As a former emperor, he should teach her a good lesson. Wutian smirked to himself, but outwardly, he pretended to be angry. After all, if Ella used her primordial force, he wasn't a match for her. He had no choice but to agree, yet he put on a facade of pride.
"Girl, you're a bit arrogant. Do you truly think you can fight me with just your body?" Wutian sneered, feigning anger.
Ella's red eyes turned cold as she simply raised a hand and curled a finger.
"Try me."
Hearing this, Wutian was delighted. Now, he had a chance to escape the immediate threat before him. He thought of it as a blessing in disguise. Without hesitation, he pretended to be upset and said, "Wait. This is a bit unfair for you, so I have a proposal. Let's make a bet."
Wutian spoke confidently, using the bet as an excuse to avoid being humiliated. However, Ella could already tell what he was thinking.
"This guy… Wutian really is like a main character," she thought to herself, clicking her tongue.
Annoyed, she nodded. "What is it? Make it quick. I'm in a hurry, you see."
Ella was impatient. She had no time for nonsense—her goal was to advance to the Inferno Realm as soon as possible. Now that Wutian was wasting her time, she felt the urge to beat him to death quickly. She wasn't stupid. In front of someone whose Fate was immense, she had to thoroughly eliminate him—even if she had to cheat.
Wutian saw the shift in her expression and shuddered. Ella's immense killing intent surged, locking onto him like a predator. It left him confused.
"This lady is really hot-tempered… but if she became one of my wives, she'd definitely become obedient. Girls with this kind of attitude are exactly my type." Wutian thought to himself, his mind filled with lustful fantasies.
Still, he maintained his facade and smirked. "I have stumbled upon an inheritance, and I possess various techniques. I'm willing to give them all to you—if you win."
Ella furrowed her brows. "And what if I lose?"
She had countless treasures, so she wasn't worried. However, she needed to hear the conditions first. She was tempted by Wutian's offer—after all, he was a former Demon Emperor. Surely, his techniques were powerful.
Wutian smirked. "If you lose, you become my fiancée. That's the only thing I want."
Ella's expression darkened. Her crimson eyes filled with killing intent. Wutian sensed the shift and hesitated.
Olivia, who had been asleep, suddenly felt Ella's anger. When she saw what was happening, she frowned and muttered softly.
"Shameless."
She looked at Wutian with disdain and spoke to Ella through telepathy.
"Eri, don't kill him. Just beat him to death. I suddenly feel disgusted by him."
Ella's rage was barely contained. "But Vivi, this guy is full of trouble. He'll definitely take revenge on us."
Even though her surface expression remained calm, deep down, she wanted to erase Wutian entirely.
"Eri, can you not kill him? He has many enemies already. Let's just forget about him."
Ella frowned. "Did you fall in love with him, Vivi?"
Her tone carried displeasure. She was on the verge of losing her temper.
"No," Olivia responded lazily, "I just don't like the condition he made."
Ella's anger subsided slightly, but she still felt irritated.
"Okay, I'll beat him to a pulp. His fate is too immense, but if he ever thinks of taking revenge, don't blame me for killing him."
Olivia nodded, saying nothing more.
Ella, suppressing her anger, smiled coldly. A chilling aura surrounded her as she spoke.
"I agree. But if you don't fulfill your promise and hand over all your techniques when I win, I'll take your life."
Wutian smirked. "Okay, let's begin."
Shush!
Wutian moved instantly.
His technique—Vanished, Like a Ghost.
His body blurred into motion, shattering the ground beneath him. In an instant, he reappeared right in front of Ella, his muscles coiled with immense force.
His fist came down like a meteor—pure, overwhelming strength!
Ella didn't dodge. Her crimson eyes locked onto Wutian, and in her vision, his movements were unbearably slow.
BAM!
The impact rang out like thunder, sending shockwaves that cracked the mountains.
Dust exploded into the sky, obscuring the battlefield. The lesser gods spectating instinctively raised their defenses, shielding themselves from the aftermath.
For a moment, silence.
Then, as the dust settled—
Ella stood completely unharmed.
Wutian's fist was still pressed against her stomach, yet she hadn't taken a single step back.
"Tch. I'm so disappointed," Ella thought.
Her crimson eyes gleamed with killing intent as chilling words escaped her lips.
"Was that all?"
Wutian's expression froze.
Impossible.
That attack contained half the strength of his current realm. It should have been enough to evaporate entire mountains…
Yet it did nothing.
Ella didn't care about his shock. She exhaled slowly—and struck back.
BAM!
Her fist plunged into Wutian's chest.
Puff!
A sickening crack echoed as Wutian's ribs caved in. His body hurled backward like a ragdoll, crashing through two mountains, leaving huge holes in them.
The crowd stared in stunned silence.
Inside the Grand Arena's private room, the daughter of a merchant from the 70th Heaven widened her eyes in surprise.
"The Demon Emperor getting beat up by a child? How embarrassing."
She chuckled, intrigued by Ella's hot temper.
One punch.
One casual punch.
A former Demon Emperor—folded like paper.
Wutian coughed violently, forcing himself to his feet. His body trembled—not just from pain, but from shock.
What is she?
No Lesser God, no mere reincarnated being, should possess such monstrous strength.
"Did she come from the 90th Heaven?"
The 90th Heaven was a place where geniuses were as common as air. Some had reached the Horizon Realm in just a hundred years. Even in his prime, Wutian hadn't dared to step foot there.
This girl… how terrifying would she be if she were just experiencing the lower domains?
Fear crept into him.
His instincts shrieked.
He had to run.
If Ella discovered his identity as the Demon Emperor, he was doomed.
Without hesitation, Wutian exploded forward, his speed breaking through the air.
CRACK!
A foot slammed into his spine, burying him into the ground.
BOOM!
A massive crater formed beneath him.
The crowd gasped.
Ella's heel rested on his back, pressing him into the ground like an insect.
"You're running? I thought you wanted to fight?" she said coldly.
Wutian twitched. Blood dripped from his mouth.
Ella cracked her knuckles.
"Tch. This is disappointing."
She vanished.
A shadow loomed over Wutian's broken body.
Her foot descended.
BOOM!
The once-proud Demon Emperor lay motionless.
