Chapter: 14

Ben moved swiftly through the dimly lit corridors of the facility, his mind racing. The island was under attack, the pro heroes had already been captured, and now the villains were after the Quirk Amplification Headset. He needed to act fast.

Pulling out a small earpiece he had created earlier, he activated it and tuned it to a private frequency. "Ethan are you there? do you copy?"

A moment later, Ethan's voice crackled through the line. "Copy boss. I was wondering when you'd call. You missed a riveting villain monologue. Classic stuff."

Ben smirked despite the situation. "No time for jokes, Ethan. I need you to create a comm device for Melissa. Use your built-in printer and link it to our frequency. We need to stay connected."

"On it," Ethan confirmed. Within moments, a small, sleek earpiece emerged from a concealed compartment in his arm. He handed it to Melissa, who quickly inserted it into her ear.

"Melissa, can you hear me?" Ben asked.

She gasped in relief. "Ben! Where are you? Are you safe?"

"For now, yeah. I'm in the generator room. I need to stop these guys before they reach the vault, but I'll need Ethan's help to pull this off."

"Just say the word, and I'll work my magic," Ethan quipped.

"Good. I'm going to create a device that latches onto the terminal here. Once it's connected, you'll be able to hack into the tower's systems remotely. That should give you access to security cameras, door locks, and maybe even disrupt enemy comms."

"Ooh, now that's my kind of plan," Ethan said. "Consider it done. But I gotta ask, what's your next move?"

Ben glanced at the various terminals and machinery around him. "Once you're in, I'll use the facility's infrastructure to create diversions maybe overload some circuits, and kill the lights in certain areas when i tell you to, anything to slow them down."

Melissa bit her lip. "Ben… be careful. We don't know how many of them there are."

Ben's expression softened. "I will. But listen to me Ethan's priority is protecting you first. If things get bad, you get out, understood?"

Melissa hesitated before nodding. "Understood."

Ethan sighed. "Man, you're really putting me in babysitter mode, huh? Fine. But you better not go full lone-wolf on us, Ben."

Ben smirked. "Wouldn't dream of it."

With that, he closed his eyes, focusing his Quirk. A crimson glow enveloped his hands as metal and circuitry formed from thin air, materializing into a sleek, compact module with retractable clamps. Sparks crackled as the final pieces snapped into place, a perfect fusion of his will and reality.

"Alright, moment of truth," he muttered, attaching it to the main console.

Back with the others, Ethan's optics flickered as new data streamed into his systems. "Oh yeah, we're in business. I've got access to cameras, door controls, and… wow, someone needs to update their firewall. I could hack this thing in sleep mode."

Midoriya clenched his fists. "Then let's use it to our advantage. We need to move fast."

Melissa took a deep breath. "Ben, we're counting on you."

Ben exhaled, rolling his shoulders. "Don't worry. By the time I'm done, these guys will wish they never set foot on I-Island."

Ben exclaimed "Oh yeah Ethan from now on your call sign is Metal-1"

Ethan surprised "Oh a promotion from bodyguard noice! What do i call you boss?"

Ben exhaled "Call me Bravo 6." as he gets ready to navigate through the mercenaries in the building.
