Jack Hou was many things—a Triad lieutenant, a street-smart hustler, and an absolute menace to society. He ran Chinatown with a grin, picked fights like they were a hobby, and somehow thrived off pure madness and raw talent. That was, until he got riddled with bullets at his boss’s wedding trying to protect the bride.



Dying? That sucked.



Waking up twenty years in the past, in a new body, new world, and somehow even more broke than before? That sucked harder.



Now trapped in the streets of 2002 New York, Jack is back to square one—hungry, penniless, and wanted by nobody. But things take a turn for the weird when an old man from K’un-Lun picks him up and claims he has the body of an immortal sage, destined to change fate.



Jack’s response? “Yeah, nah. Sounds like effort.”



Forced into martial arts training, qi cultivation, and unlocking his true potential, Jack has zero plans to follow orders. Instead, he does what he does best—run his mouth, break the rules, and cause absolute chaos.



But when he starts awakening strange abilities, growing stronger than a normal human should, and attracting the attention of ancient forces, Jack realizes—maybe this isn’t just a second chance at life.
