Jack Hou was many things—a Triad lieutenant, a street-smart hustler, and an absolute menace to society. He ran Chinatown with a grin, picked fights like they were a hobby, and somehow thrived off pure madness and raw talent. That was, until he got riddled with bullets at his boss’s wedding trying to protect the bride.
Dying? That sucked.
Waking up twenty years in the past, in a new body, new world, and somehow even more broke than before? That sucked harder.
Now trapped in the streets of 2002 New York, Jack is back to square one—hungry, penniless, and wanted by nobody. But things take a turn for the weird when an old man from K’un-Lun picks him up and claims he has the body of an immortal sage, destined to change fate.
Jack’s response? “Yeah, nah. Sounds like effort.”
Forced into martial arts training, qi cultivation, and unlocking his true potential, Jack has zero plans to follow orders. Instead, he does what he does best—run his mouth, break the rules, and cause absolute chaos.
But when he starts awakening strange abilities, growing stronger than a normal human should, and attracting the attention of ancient forces, Jack realizes—maybe this isn’t just a second chance at life.
Maybe he’s something more than human.
Maybe… he was never human to begin with.
Crazy fights, unhinged banter, and a monkey with no chill— Jack Hou is about to turn the Marvel world upside down, one bad decision at a time.
A/N: This is NOT a translation, I make this Story myself. So there is no Original Source, it's in my Brain babyy...

Don’t mind me just shameless author review. A wise man once said nothing, and yet, here I’m, talking anyway. -🧣
One of the few times the 'New Chapter Coming Soon' screen actually made me upset. I really can't get enough of this. There is not a single point I felt I would criticize.
Lads, it's S-tier. trust. .
actually peak. funny story..,?)(:/,?&£(‘
the first chapters has been an awesome ride of comedy and intriguing journey. I wish there were more chapters already. loved the story. the character has been improving and growing while not losing its essence. and since monkey King ff are rare, it is a rare delight. I like the mc character for his no fuck given attitude, but i sense deep down that he is a kind of guy who gives you the most hurt person is the kindest kinda vibes
amazing. ten outta ten. can't wait for more and to see what Jack gets up to next
I honestly don't know quite alot about sun wukong but I've got to say this story is quite good and I've been enjoying it alot
(As of Chapter 50) This is a great read. The author knows Wukong's personality well, which is kinda similar to Stephen Chow's Wukong from A Chinese Odyssey. Too bad he doesn't have an Uncle Tat lmao The author is also knowledgeable with the comics which is a plus for me. I don't really like that the majority of the webnovel fics are stuck with the mcu. I like that one detail about Moira MacTaggert about her reincarnation. I recommend others to read this fic. I'm hoping we'd get a clash between Wukong and all the gods from different pantheons in the future. Thanks for your hard work, author!!
HOW IS THIS SO PEAKKK ENGAGING PLOT FUNNY DIALOGUE GREAT CHARACTERIZATION GHIS HAS IT ALL FR I LOVE THIS AND IT KNOWS WHEN AND HOW TO EXPAND THE SCOPE OF THE STORY
Fun story. mostly just a gag reel of action and punking folk. Overall it's a great story to pass the time but it doesn't have any purpose or reason. this story is, as it says, just having fun in the MCU, causing chaos. 95% of questions asked in the story are not answered, instead some anecdote in its place, while they can be be funny or relevant, half the time they are used to cover plot holes or to ignore giving any depth to this story. and that's probably the worst part. There is zero depth to this story. but again if you are looking for a fun story where you can turn your brain off then this is it and it deserves its praise for that. if you want anything more than fun then this ain't it.
I really wanted this to be good but sadly it's not for me. The book's grammar and such is okay, but the story telling doesn't meet the same standard. Lots of time is spent trying to explain the characters backstory to the point it feels like overcompensating and fake. I hope to one day revisit this and be excited to change my review.
Peak comedy so far I have no problems with this
Absolute cinema! Can't wait to see the chaos brought by "The Monkey King, the Victorious Fighting Buddha—The Great Sage, Heaven's Equal!"🗣🔥🔥
The story is great, reads well, and is all-around just great fun. I haven't laughed this much in a long time. The MC is chaotic just the right amount, and is behaving exactly how I would expect Sun Wukong would.
