*chirp chirp*
The Sun shines brightly.
And the morning looks dazzling.
Blaine woke up from his bed.
Remembering the events from yesterday.
He covered his face with his hands, and laid back down on the bed.
"It really happened, didn't it?"
"I still can't believe what happened to me…
"First, I get transmigrated to another world. I get chased by bandits. Become a butler for a noble. Then, get adopted by the same nobles."
*inhale exhale*
Blaine deeply sighed.
He got up from the bed, and went to the bathroom to freshen up.
He wore a decent outfit, and left his room.
"Good morning, Blaine!"
Cedric saw Blaine and said in a sweet voice.
Blaine turned around and saw Cedric.
"Good morning!"
He smiled and replied back.
"How are you feeling? I mean, after yesterday…"
Cedric raised his eyebrows in worry and asked.
"I-I'm good. I'm feeling great. Never felt better!"
Blaine scoffed and chuckled.
"Oh, thank goodness! I thought you would feel uncomfortable after becoming someone else's family member. I mean, if it were me I would feel uncomfortable too!" Cedric sighed softly in relief.
"I would be lying if I said I wasn't. And, to be honest, I am a little uncomfortable and nervous. But, I am also very grateful to all of you." Blaine slightly smiled and said in a soft voice.
"Oh, Blaine!" Cedric said as he teared up.
"Hey, stop. Stop! Don't you start crying again." Blaine said as he tried to stop Cedric from crying.
"Okay, okay. I won't!" Cedric sniffed and replied back as he whipped his tears.
"You're supposed to be my brother now. Shouldn't you be a model example for your siblings!" Blaine said as he tried to give a lecture to Cedric.
"Yeah… yeah. You're right. I should be a great example for my siblings. And. You can call me big brother!" Cedric replied back as he smiled proudly.
"Ah, sure…" Blaine tried to laugh off Cedric's last statement.
"No, wait. Would big brother be better or just brother. Maybe brother Cedric. Or how about older brother. No. Elder brother, maybe. No. Not that either—
Cedric began whispering to himself.
"Huh?"
"What??"
"Is he okay?!"
Blaine thought to himself as he saw Cedric mumbling to himself.
"It's a little embarrassing to say, but. Agh, whatever!" Blaine thought to himself before saying it.
"Big brother… shall we go…?" Blaine turned red and tightly closed his eyes.
*gasp*
"Blaine… you actually called me big brother…
Cedric gasped in surprise as he said that.
"Let's not get emotional now, okay? Come on, let's go." Blaine turned the other way and said.
"Yes, you're right. Let's go." Cedric sniffled and took two step forward. Then suddenly…
"Hey, you two. Good morning. What are you doing?" Janika came from behind them and asked.
"Oh, hey, sis. Good morning." Cedric said as he saw Janika.
"Good morning." Blaine shook his head and said.
"We we're having a brother-to-brother talk." Cedric smirked and said to Janika.
"Huh? Okay." Janika looked at Blaine after she said that.
"Well, let's go."
"And, also, I have something to tell everyone. They will probably be shocked to hear it." Janika chuckled and walked in front of them.
"Huh? We will be shocked by what?" Cedric said in confusion.
"You'll know once I say it in front of everyone." Janika chuckled and went downstairs. Cedric and Blaine followed after her.
Blaine looked as confused as Cedric. He didn't know what Janika was planning.
"Good morning, everyone!" Albus and Luna said in unison.
"Good morning, everyone!" Cleon said after after them.
"Good morning." Blaine, Janika, and Cedric greeted them back.
Blaine, how are you feeling?" Albus and Luna said in unison together again.
"I'm-I'm fine! I'm great!" Blaine gently smiled and replied back.
"Good" They both sighed in relief.
"Come on, let's not thicken the atmosphere. You're family now and if you feel anything, just talk to us. We're right here." Luna gently smiled and said.
"Yes, absolutely!" Blaine nodded and said.
"Yes, you're right!" Albus chuckled and said.
Everyone took their seats and sat down.
"Where is Ophelia?" Janika looked at Luna and Albus and asked.
"She should be here any minute now." Luna answered.
"Well, she can hear it later, then."
"Previously, I took Blaine and went to the chamber and asked him to show me how much he has learned.
He can now conjure up objects." Janika smirked as she said that.
"?!" Everyone got shocked as they heard that. Except for Cleon.
"Why don't you show them as well." Janika looked at Blaine and grinned.
*sigh*
Blaine sighed softly.
"Okay."
"That time, I created a knife. So let's try doing something different. I've been practicing this in secret for the past two days. Though, I feel like I still can't do it properly." Blaine internally thought to himself.
"The explanation Janika gave me was a little vague for me. So I did something on my own." He thought internally.
"…" Blaine closed his eyes.
*inhale exhale*
He raised both his hands forward. He had closed his eyes and was laser focused. Everyone looked at him and stayed silent. They didn't want to disturb his concentration.
Slowly, something started to take shape. Above his hands a small orb slowly began to form.
A bright golden orb appeared hovering above his hands.
"Hmm… It needs a little more improving." Blaine opened his eyes and thought to himself.
"What's… wrong?" Blaine looked at everyone and said in complete confusion.
*gasp*
"Magnificent"
"Beautiful"
"So cool"
"Blaine, you… how…?" Janika couldn't say a proper sentence.
"How… what?" Blaine asked with a confused expression.
"How did you manage to do that?" Janika asked him. Not losing her composure.
"Well, I visualize an invisible circle, then, I tried pouring my mana into it. You know, like how you pour water into a glass." Blaine gave a brief explanation.
"Ah, okay…" Janika didn't know what to say.
The bright golden orb dissipated like mist into thin air.
*sigh*
"I still can't maintain it for too long. And I still need to word on it a lot more." Blaine said as he softly sighed.
"There has never been anyone who has learned magic in such a short period of time. You are learning at an astonishing rate, Blaine. Truly remarkable!" Albus said. Still surprised.
"That was… unbelievable. Beautiful! This is my first time seeing Light Magic. I've read about it in books but never witnessed it until this moment!" Luna gasped and was stunned.
"Blaine, you're truly amazing! You're so smart. So talented. And you possess Light Magic! I'm so proud to call you my brother!" Cedric was surprised and impressed by Blaine.
"Ahaha" Blaine chuckled.
"Like I said, I will need to improve and get better at controlling my mana. That's how I will be able to manifest, manipulate, and maintain my magic abilities. Probably." Blaine said as he crossed his arms.
"Yes, precisely." Albus responded.
"And don't worry about controlling your mana. You will have plenty of time in these two months to improve until the academy begins." Albus smiled and said.
"Mm-hmm! I will give it my all!" Blaine responded with a confident smile.
"That's the spirit!" Albus laughed in agreement.
Everyone was going to start having breakfast when suddenly Ophelia arrived.
They filled her in on what she missed.
And just as expected, she was shocked, surprised, and stunned like everyone else.
They had their breakfast. Albus and Luna had matters to attend to, so, they left.
Cleon went to his room with his tutor to do his studies.
Janika and Cedric took Blaine to the Basement chamber and helped him with his magic.
Blaine learned reading and writing from Sebas.
Did physical training to build strength, and stamina.
After that, practiced his magic with the help of Janika and Cedric in the day. And then at night in secret before going to bed.
This was Blaine's daily routine.
And just like that, two months had passed.
