The Clash of Titans

[3rd POV]

Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses.

The name struck terror into the hearts of the people due to the disasters that always followed. In just half a year, Sukuna had cemented himself as the worst and biggest villain Japan had ever seen.

He was more notorious than big-name villains like All for One because, unlike these villains who worked mostly in the shadows, Sukuna wreaked havoc in the spotlight with no regard for subtlety.

And no one could stop him.

It started when Sukuna destroyed the biggest factory in Kawaguchi City during broad daylight and right under the nose of every Pro Hero stationed there. The news was such a shocking event because although it was a large-scale destruction where part of the city was erased, no one even knew how it happened or when exactly it happened.

The only thing they knew was that it was done by Ryomen Sukuna. It was done by one man.

This feat of destruction put Sukuna at the pinnacle as one of the greatest threats to society. He was a villain with the destructive capability of All Might, someone who could potentially destroy a city with no way of stopping him. The people could not remain calm and peace was broken with this declaration of power.

This feat too got the attention of All for One like Sukuna intended. However, unlike what he had predicted, All for One immediately came after him, but in a completely different way.

All for One pulled the string and flexed the extent of influence he had on the leaders of society. The factory was never revealed for what it was, a paradise of villains. Instead, the news reported that Sukuna attacked the toy-making factory out of spite for the heroes.

It was not difficult to do such things with all evidence being reduced to dust. The identity of the villains who were in the factory was never revealed.

But that didn't stop there, for every progress Sukuna made in destroying the criminal empire, All for One made it seem like he was a villain attacking civilians for no other reason than his evil nature.

Sukuna went after one of the most prestigious hospitals after he destroyed the 'Sacred Cradle'. The hospital was viewed in a good light by the public due to its subsidised treatment for struggling patients and its overall low-cost treatment.

But again, this was only a disguise from outside. In truth, the hospital was rooted in the underworld and it was a hospital that took care of villains.

It was a hospital for villains and it was under All for One. This was one of the many ways he controlled the criminals, if they disobeyed him they could not get treated in this hospital.

When Sukuna destroyed this whole operation, All for One made it so that everyone thought Sukuna attacked an innocent hospital.

The same goes for when Sukuna destroyed the biggest Quirk Evaluation Bureau, which in reality worked for All for One so that the villain could steal any unique qurik for himself.

Then there were orphanages that groomed children to become villains or elite soldiers under All for One's command.

The list went on and on. All for One did not have much influence on individual heroes themselves but he had control over the corrupt officials in the Hero Commission who were the leaders of these Pro Hereoes.

In that way, All for One shaped how Sukuna was perceived by heroes and society. He effectively turned both the heroes and villains against him.

Ryomen Sukuna, however, did not crumble upon the weight of two societies. He was an unstoppable force that had nothing more to lose. Whatever All for One threw at him, he took them, unfazed.

Eventually, the conflict reached its climax on one fateful night.

//////////////

It was the year 2139.

The date was 29th February.

It happened in the Kamino Ward of the city of Yokohama, Japan.

Alarms blared throughout the city, and the streets flashed red. This type of alarm was only activated in times of emergency, such as a flood, earthquake, or unavoidable disaster.

The chaos that was brewing in the sky above the city was a calamity of such calibre. The pro heroes moved around the city, doing their best to evacuate the civilians before disaster struck.

It was an absolute mayhem. It was a night people would remember for a long time as a traumatic event. But for now, time had mercy on them.

...

"Finally, you show yourself," Sukuna greeted All for One as he floated across him in the night sky.

Sukuna folded his four arms on his chest, and a carefree smile hung on his monstrous face while he stood on an invisible platform.

"Indeed. I can only delay our confrontation for so long," All for One said with a chuckle.

His voice was wrapped in cold authority. All for One had short white hair, which contrasted with the black suit he was wearing. His figure was decently muscular with imposingly broad shoulders. But he was still much smaller than Sukuna.

"I'll admit that your underhanded tactics were quite annoying, but in the end, they are meaningless," Sukuna said as he felt the curtain he had set up throughout the city.

This barrier had only one purpose and that was to lock the space inside the city so that no teleportation quirks could be used. It was made using a binding vow.

All for One would not live to see the next day.

"Meaningless?" he laughed at that, "I know those little rumours wouldn't do anything to you. They are merely a build-up to something bigger,"

"Well whatever it is, you better hurry up because you are dying tonight," Sukuna replied coldly.

"Are you sure you can do that?" All for One asked with a curious tilt of his head, "Are you sure you can kill me when you have not killed anyone throughout this whole expedition?"

"You are soft Daigo Arata. You may try to act and live up to the reputation I made for you but deep down you are just a kid," he said.

"....."

"Even after all this time, even after everything they did to you. Here you are, stalling with your most hated enemy so that they could have time to evacuate. Are their lives that previous?" he asked.

"I do what I like, such privilege comes with strength. Life need not hold value, I need not be burdened with morals, and I can kill a thousand or save a thousand on a whim," Sukuna replied.

His answer only brought an amused smile on All for One.

"it's tragic that no one will remember what you did for them. No matter what the outcome of this battle, they will always hate you," he said.

"Weren't you listening? I'm not doing this for anyone, I do it for myself. I won't need gratitude for saving them or for killing you. It all boils down to what I want," Sukuna finished.

A philosophy he inherited at one point during the template increase. Sukuna did whatever he wanted and power justified it. In this case, Daigo Arata was just someone who did not enjoy unnecessary bloodshed.

Right then, they both looked down to the city as shockwaves exploded. It was not hard to spot All Might as he ran around the city, quickly helping the people in need.

"There he is," All for One said with a crooked smile, "You know all those exploits I made against you? It was never about turning society on you, it was about convincing him."

All Might burst around the city, helping every people in dire need. When he was done, he shot into the sky like a missile and landed on the air platform All for One made beside him.

!!!!!!

"So this was it, your plan to stop me," Sukuna laughed out loud.

In the sky opposite to him was All Might and All for One, standing side by side. The two entities who were arch-nemesis were united only for this night.

How did it even happen? What did All for One do to convince All Migh to work with him?

Perhaps All for One had promised himself to surrender after the battle? Or maybe, someone convinced All Migh that Sukuna was much worse than the Overlord of Evil.

"Daigo Arata. I thought you were going to be the hope of the new generation but I should've seen the darkness in your heart when we first met," All Might declared with righteous blue eyes.

"Your evil spree shall stop here. This is your last chance to surrender,"

In return, Sukuna held his face and laughed even louder. The chain of his laughter became more and more unhinged as it went on.

Because it was fucking hilarious.

He had underestimated just how blady his cursed energy affected the people around him. What kind of demonic being was he that All Might would pick his arch-nemesis over him?

He really did inherit everything from that bastard, didn't he?

"Don't be so shocked. People always fear more, what they don't know or understand than what they could comprehend," All for One said.

"And no one understands you, quirkless boy," he finished.

At that point, the last civilian was already out of the city.

Sukuna had nothing else to say.

*BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!*

Massive black lighting thundered in the sky as Sukuna slammed his fist on All Might's chest. There was a crack in the fabric of reality as space wrapped around his fist.

A streak of black lighting exploded out when his fist made contact.

Blackflash.

All Might shot down from the sky like a falling star. It was the hardest punch he had received yet.

Sukuna focused on All for One right after that. In the short moment when All Might was out of the picture, he went for the kill him.

A battle that shook the whole country ensued.
