INTRO:
A person's heart is fragile—whether a man or a woman.
Though men are often seen as strong, they too have their weak moments.
The couple now faces a rough time.
Will they come to an understanding, or will this pain continue to tear them
apart?
"LOOKING"
It was still noon.
Kate sat with her phone in hand, calling Angelo again and again.
No answer.
She tried calling his mother and Nicole, but neither had seen him.
Anxious thoughts filled her mind. Where could he be?
Her heart pounded as she continued searching for him.
"SLEEPING"
Angelo's three friends struggled with what to do.
They couldn't bring him home in his state—what would they tell his parents?
In the end, they let him crash at one of their apartments.
Angelo remained asleep, drained from crying.
His shirt was damp, soaked with tears.
With no choice, his friends left him in the bedroom, hoping he'd wake up
feeling better.
"SILENT"
Evening arrived.
When Angelo finally woke up,
he checked his phone—6 PM.
He stepped out of the bedroom,
finding only one of his friends still there.
The friend asked what had happened,
but Angelo pretended not to hear.
Acting like he owned the place,
he grabbed a glass of water and sat down.
"Got an extra shirt?" he asked.
His friend pointed to a drawer.
"Help yourself."
After changing, Angelo called the others and told them to get dressed.
"We're going out," he said. His friends, curious but knowing better than to push, followed his lead.
"THE BAR"
The bar was packed with dazzling lights and loud music.
The moment they found a table, Angelo ordered strong drinks.
He drank fast, glass after glass.
His friends tried to talk to him, but he remained silent.
Instead, he raised his glass. "Cheers."
With no other choice, they drank alongside him—
though they controlled their intake, unlike him.
"DRUNKENNESS"
By 10 PM, Angelo was completely wasted.
His friends watched as he slammed his mug down after every shot.
Still, he refused to speak about what had happened.
His stomach was empty, his body unsteady.
Concerned, his friends decided it was time to leave.
But there was a problem—
Angelo's phone have no battery,
and they didn't know Kate's number.
They tried asking him,
but every time they mentioned her name,
his eyes filled with pain.
After an hour of coaxing, they finally got her number from him.
"HELPLESS"
Kate sat outside, lost in thought.
The night was cold, and her heart felt heavier with every passing moment.
Why is he avoiding me?
She looked back at her actions that afternoon.
Had she been too harsh?
The guilt was unbearable.
Tears welled in her eyes.
Was he angry? Or worse… was he planning to leave her?
Her phone suddenly rang. An unknown number.
"LOCATION"
"Hello?" Kate answered quickly.
"Uh, is this Kate? Can you please come get Angelo?"
The moment she heard his name, she shot to her feet.
"Where is he? I'm coming!" she said, rushing to hail a cab.
"THERE HE WAS"
When Kate arrived, her heart clenched at the sight before her.
Angelo sat slumped over, his head low, eyes unfocused.
She turned to his friends.
"What happened?"
They shook their heads.
"He wouldn't tell us."
Taking a deep breath,
Kate nodded. "I'll take it from here."
His friends helped her get him into a cab, bidding her goodbye.
Inside, Angelo swayed with the motion of the car.
Kate gently guided his head onto her shoulder, watching him.
Is this because of me?
She reached for his hand and held it tight the entire ride home.
"WHAT'S WITH HIM"
By the time they arrived, it was past midnight.
A maid answered the door, eyes widening at the sight of Angelo.
"What happened to him?"
Kate forced a smile. "Just a rough night. Can you help me carry him?"
Together, they brought him to his room.
Once alone, Kate sighed.
She removed his damp shirt, grabbed a washbasin, and began wiping his skin
clean.
"I'M SORRY"
Angelo stirred, feeling the cool cloth against his skin.
Through his blurry vision, he saw Kate.
Thinking he was dreaming, he reached for her cheek.
"Senior?" he murmured.
Kate froze, eyes softening.
"I'm sorry..." he whispered, his voice trembling.
Before he could continue, Kate spoke first.
"I'm sorry," she said firmly, her hands trembling.
Tears welled in his eyes.
She repeated it over and over, knowing how much he had suffered.
"I'm sorry for everything."
Angelo smiled weakly, reaching to cup her face.
"Senior... you know I love you, right?"
Kate bit her lip, nodding.
"I love you, and I always will. You can be mad at me, yell at me, anything...
but, please."
He wiped a tear from her cheek.
"Just don't leave me."
His voice cracked.
"I'll change. I'll be better. I'll trust you more."
His words sounded like a desperate plea.
"Please… just please, don't leave me."
He pulled her close and kissed her.
Even if this is a dream, I'll love every version of you.
I love you so much… so please, don't leave me.
"MY FEELINGS"
Angelo continued to kiss her,
though his movements grew slower,
weariness settling in.
Kate gently guided him to bed,
watching as he lay down, his energy fading.
She handed him a fresh shirt and covered him with a blanket.
Then, she lay beside him, facing him, their eyes meeting in the dim light.
She reached out, running her fingers through his hair, soothing him.
His eyelids fluttered, struggling to stay open.
"What you're worrying about will never happen," she whispered.
"Sleep well, my love. Tomorrow, we'll start fresh."
She saw the lingering traces of anxiety on his face.
"I know you're scared, but I'll show you… you have nothing to fear."
Her voice was steady, filled with quiet devotion.
"My love for you is bigger and wilder than you think.
So sleep well and regain your strength.
When you wake up, let's go on a date.
Valentine's Day may be over, but love isn't bound to one day.
We can celebrate our love every day.
What matters most is that I love you—far more than you know."
She paused, her voice growing softer.
"So forgive me if I haven't expressed it well."
A gentle smile graced her lips.
"My man, my sweet and handsome Angelo…I love you always and forever."
She knew he had already fallen asleep midway through her words,
but she kept speaking anyway, pouring her love into every whispered vow.
Finally, she pressed a soft kiss to his lips.
Then, wrapping her arms around him, she closed her eyes and let herself rest.
OUTRO:
Will the storm finally end when they wake up?
Will they find peace after this night, or will they need their strength to face the
next wave?
Their love is strong—but is it strong enough for what's to come?
