A mega tsunami surged toward New York, towering over the skyline like the wrath of a vengeful god. Within the city, terrified citizens screamed and bolted toward higher ground, desperate to escape the incoming wall of water.
Inside a high-rise building, Brotherhood operatives were briefing Magneto.
"Magneto, according to our sources, Colonel Stryker is in New York. Rumor has it he's working with Mason Industries to develop a new weapon specifically to counter mutants."
This joint invasion with Atlantis was never about conquest alone—it was about chaos. Public sentiment toward mutants was growing increasingly hostile. With Stryker's proposal now gaining congressional support, the future looked grim for mutantkind.
As the leader of the Brotherhood, Magneto couldn't allow that. His vision was a world where mutants ruled—not cowered.
"Forget Mason Industries for now. Find that bastard Stryker," Magneto said icily. "Eliminate the root of this threat. With Atlantis attacking the surface, any news on mutants will get buried under the panic. It's time we gather our strength."
"Yes, sir!"
His subordinates immediately set out to execute the order.
Meanwhile, the first wave of the tsunami struck—obliterating the Statue of Liberty.
"Oh my god, the Statue of Liberty is gone!"
"Those blue-skinned freaks… what are they doing?!"
"The whole city's going under!"
In cities across the country, horrified onlookers watched the livestream. Even non-coastal cities felt the terror. How could anyone survive this apocalypse?
In New York, some people simply collapsed, praying for salvation, eyes closed and hands clasped. But it wasn't God who answered.
It was a woman in red.
"Wanda… are you sure you can stop something this massive?" asked the Mandarin calmly, his gaze fixed on the seemingly fragile girl beside him.
"If I don't try, how will I ever know?" Wanda replied with a soft smile.
A deep red glow began to radiate from her body as a surge of chaotic magic burst forth. The very air around her warped and trembled. She was no longer just the Scarlet Witch—she was something more.
The moment she raised her hands, every Avenger on the ground felt it: a pressure in the air, raw and immense. Even the Atlantean warriors hesitated, staring up at the woman now floating high above.
Bathed in scarlet light, her face obscured, Wanda stood at the center of a distortion in space. Reality itself seemed to bend around her.
"What… what is that?"
"She's incredible…"
"Is she even human?"
Below, jaws dropped. Above, Namor narrowed his eyes.
He considered attacking—but there was someone guarding her. A man.
"Go."
At Wanda's whisper, a titanic burst of chaos magic erupted from her body and surged toward the tsunami.
The wave was already brushing against the tip of Stark Tower. Impact was imminent.
Inside, people closed their eyes, bracing for death—but the impact never came. Instead, something incredible happened.
The wave… stopped.
It didn't crash down.
It just hung there—frozen mid-surge. A crimson glow shimmered across its surface. Behind it, more waves piled up, smashing into the wall of magic, only to be halted and held in place.
Wanda's face had gone pale from the strain. Her fingers trembled as she fought to contain the ocean itself.
"You nailed it!" shouted the Mandarin.
The Ten Rings on his hands lit up with bluish-white light. A wave of frosty energy erupted from his palms, blasting toward the halted tsunami.
A shockwave of freezing air enveloped the wave, and massive crystalline ice spread like wildfire. The sea began to solidify.
"Holy shit!" Human Torch yelled, stunned. "What the hell are you two?!"
The entire tsunami—once a monstrous force of nature—transformed into a magnificent ice sculpture. In the frozen waves, entire ships could be seen mid-flip, captured like insects in amber.
In the skyscrapers, survivors blinked at the impossible sight.
"We're alive…"
"What just happened?"
"The wave turned to ice?"
"Who the hell are these people?!"
Their shock turned into cheers. Relief. Elation.
But Namor, floating high in the sky, felt something else: pressure.
These newcomers—especially the man who just froze a tsunami—were a threat. A real one.
He raised his golden trident and pointed it directly at them.
"Are you here to stop me too?" he asked coldly.
What answered him was a spinning red-white-blue blur.
"Get back to your ocean, you damn fish," Captain Supreme growled.
The shield—bearing the Umbrella Corporation insignia—collided with the golden trident in a clash that thundered across the city. Sparks flew, shockwaves rippled, and with that, the true battle had begun.
