Thor, who had just been smashed into a storefront, took quite a while to climb out from the debris. As he staggered to his feet, he still made a show of shouting,

"This area is dangerous! Evacuate immediately!"

…as if the civilians hadn't already run screaming from the disaster zone long ago.

Mjölnir was now firmly back in Thor's grip. With his weapon in hand, his confidence surged—Hulk's earlier rampage had left him a little shaken.

"If this is how you want to play it... so be it."

Mjölnir began spinning in Thor's hand, whipping up a violent tornado around him laced with crackling lightning.

"Hulk, I don't want to do this!"

With that, Thor shot into the sky like a missile. The whirlwind he generated tossed cars into the air like toys. Then, channeling his full strength, he slammed Mjölnir down hard onto Hulk's chest.

A surge of divine lightning erupted from the hammer, coursing through Hulk's body. For a brief moment, Thor even allowed himself a victorious smile.

That smile didn't last.

Before he could say a word, a massive green fist exploded into view and smashed into Thor's face.

BAM!

Thor flew backward like a ragdoll, crashing headfirst through a reinforced wall of Avengers Tower.

Hulk stood where he was, his body still crackling with residual lightning. His hair—normally matted to his head—now stood on end from the static charge. It was clear that Thor's blow had hurt him.

But instead of weakening him, it had enraged him further.

Roaring with fury, Hulk's massive feet crushed the concrete beneath him as he charged toward the hole where he had just flung the Asgardian.

Inside the rubble, Thor swung his leg out and kicked Hulk in the chest.

This kick—powerful enough to knock a battle tank off its tracks—only caused Hulk to stumble back slightly.

"Hey, buddy, let's talk about—ARGH!"

Before Thor could finish, Hulk grabbed him by the leg like a piece of garbage and flung him across the battlefield.

Then he leapt into the air, massive fists raised, aiming to drive Thor into the Earth like a nail.

BOOM!

A flash of fire exploded against Hulk mid-air, throwing him off balance and sending him tumbling to the ground.

Hovering in the sky was a red-gold-black figure—Tony Stark, with Rhodes at his side.

War Machine's upgraded armor gleamed with firepower. Red targeting lights danced across its shell as Rhodes unleashed a relentless barrage of ammunition.

This was the War Machine Mk II, an extensively modified prototype from Stark's earlier suits. Its arsenal was ridiculous—even by Iron Man standards.

Bullets rained down like a storm, pounding against Hulk's indestructible skin.

Missiles flared from Stark's own suit, striking Hulk and erupting into waves of fire and smoke.

But Hulk merely raised an arm to shield himself and let out a feral roar. Slamming his feet into the ground, he launched himself with terrifying velocity—straight at Stark.

Tony's HUD exploded with warnings. His sensors screamed.

"Impossible! His acceleration... it's faster than my suit!"

There was no time to dodge.

Hulk's green fist smashed into Stark's armor like a wrecking ball.

WHAM!

Tony was swatted out of the sky like a fly, his suit trailing black smoke and sparks as it plummeted toward the Earth.

On the ground, Susan Storm quickly extended her powers, using telekinesis to catch and slow Stark's fall. He hit the ground with a soft thud, raising a cloud of dust.

Seeing this, Rhodes activated every weapon he had. His suit spat out a storm of metal—bullets, grenades, micro-rockets—everything.

A steel curtain of death rained down toward Hulk.

But Hulk roared again and used a nearby skyscraper to vault back into the air.

Rhodes dodged frantically, but Hulk still managed to clip his suit with a glancing punch.

That was enough.

Rhodes's suit lost all power and spiraled out of control, crashing to the ground below.

Ben Grimm—The Thing—roared and charged.

He met Hulk head-on, slamming his rocky fists into Hulk's body.

BOOM!

The impact released a shockwave that flattened everything around them.

Cracks spread across Ben's rocky arms. He gritted his teeth—he was already close to his limit.

"J.A.R.V.I.S., call in Veronica," Stark said grimly.

Veronica—the codename for the Hulkbuster deployment system.

It floated silently in orbit, waiting. Once activated, it would drop the Hulkbuster components straight from Earth's atmosphere like meteors.

Meanwhile, Thor had rejoined the fight. Lightning arced through the air as he traded brutal blows with Hulk. The battlefield was chaos incarnate.

Asgardian power met raw mutant strength. They were equals—and they were both drawing blood.

Thor's thunder made Hulk howl in agony.

Hulk's fists made Thor bleed.

And from the rooftop of a tall building nearby…

A sultry, graceful woman stood with a sly smile on her lips. Leaning lazily against the rooftop railing, she watched the chaos with amused delight.

Her beauty radiated an almost unnatural allure.

But just as she was about to giggle, her expression froze.

She sensed something.

Her charming smile faded, replaced by a sharp scowl. Her eyes darted sideways—

A deep, cold electronic voice echoed beside her:

"Looks like you're very pleased… with your masterpiece."

A black, menacing suit of armor loomed into view.

Its V-shaped visor glowed with a sinister crimson light.
