Chapter-10

Delivery

Jay-jay's POV

Isn't Calix Mica's ex there
too? I suddenly remembered the letter. The one I got in one of the rooms on the second floor of the Section E
building. They knew Mica. "Ineng!" The saleswoman shouted. I immediately went over to her. The cashier was
next to her. "P1,445 total..." The cashier said. I immediately took 2,000 of the money they gave me. And since
this wasn't mine... "Keep the change, sister... I'll just tip the person who took my order with you." I said while
smiling. The saleswoman was obviously happy and immediately thanked me. They handed me the box. The
box wasn't that big. It was only the size of a chutchirya box. I thought that was all but I noticed that they were
going to hand me another box. "Wait... Why are there so many boxes?" "Ineng... You must have ordered so
many." Oh! What is that? I can't handle all of this. This is as big as Section E! "Sister.. I'll just go back to that. I
can't handle all of it." "S-okay.." Sister answered me. I immediately picked up the box. It wasn't heavy but you
could feel the contents (dish) inside. "He's carrying a lot.." "What's there?" "That's all his?" "Maybe he's feeding
the entire Section E." "Maybe... That's why he's not hurting them because he's bribing them." "That's what it's
like." What? What bribe? No way! Why would I do that? I can do it. That's why I obeyed their orders so quickly.
I've already left the cafeteria. I just walked away even though it was obvious that the students who saw me
were talking and looking at me. Go ahead.. push that! Why is our room so far away? It's annoying! You animal
Keifer, I'll throw this at you! I've already reached our building. I even saw Felix waiting at the door and
immediately entered when he saw me. "There he is!" One of them shouted. When I entered, instead of helping
me, they immediately opened the box to get their food. Animals! I put the box down on one of the tables. I was
already stretching because it was really annoying. "Why isn't mine?" One asked. "Ours is too." The other added.
"Wait.. There's another one, I'll be
back." I said and quickly ran back to the cafeteria. I'm hungry! When will this
Section E ordeal end?
Back at the cafeteria, the line was long again.
I didn't plan on waiting in line. I already had my order and paid for it.
I immediately ran to the cashier and pushed Kuya who was at the front of the line.
"What's that?!" Kuya was furious but I ignored him.
"Here's the box!" I said and he immediately took the box.
"Hey, sister! Get in line!"
"We've been here a while!"
"Don't be stingy!"
Wow! These are fists! I glared at them. The kind that
kills, the ones that penetrate flesh and bone.
Listen! You'll get caught in the eye!
The Saleswoman handed me two more boxes.
They were a little smaller than the first ones. I took them and started walking.
I was halfway through the cafeteria when someone suddenly stopped me.
Just now?!
"Excuse me!" I said and he still didn't move. "..I'll go----"
"What is that?" The person who stopped me asked.
Shutanginames! I'm fed up with this! Aries was in front of me.
"What... Because..."
"Is that for Section E?"
I couldn't answer. The people here also started to mutter.
"Sorry, Aries... I have to go." I passed by him
and bumped into his arm.
I was almost at the door when he suddenly spoke. "Put that thing down."
I looked at him in surprise. "Huh?!"
"Put.That.Thing.Down." He said calmly but authoritatively. "Do
what I said now."
Aarrggghhh... What?
I really have to go. Even though I wanted to follow him, I
couldn't.
"Sorry." That's all I said and quickly walked away.
I heard him call my name. These
Section E people were already there!
When I returned to the room, those who had gotten their orders were already sitting.
Those who hadn't yet were waiting. I put the boxes back on the
table and let them mess around again.
You're welcome!
I threw his change at Keifer. Let him pick it up.
I sat down on my chair and almost fell over. Can
I still eat this? My body was so tired. No one helped me!
I adjusted my seat to see what they were doing. They all had
their orders in front of them but... Why weren't they still eating?
I looked around and they were all like that, except for Yuri. There was no
ood in front of him. Come on! I must have forgotten!
But if I had forgotten, he would probably complain. Right?
Felix suddenly moved to a seat near me. The rest of
them did the same.
"We'll eat together." Felix said while smiling.
Are they waiting for me that's why they haven't eaten yet? Wow! Touch your troops
!
I took out my bag and turned the chair so that I could face
Felix and the others.
"EAT NOW!" they shouted at the same time.
I even laughed a little because they looked so cute. We started
eating and they looked like children excited about their food. Ppfffttt.. Kids
!
Yuri still doesn't have any food. How can he?
The people next to him aren't giving him any. I felt a little sorry for
him. We exchanged glances and he was clearly irritated. Grumpy!
He suddenly stood up and walked towards us... Oh no!
He was going out and just passed by our side.
I tried to stop him. I grabbed his wrist.
"Hey.. Eat!" I offered him.
He didn't say anything. He just looked at my hand holding
his. I could feel him getting annoyed by what I did so I let him go immediately.
"Eat now... Let's share." I said.
There's nothing wrong with that, right? Keifer and I also shared
ood before.
Yuri still didn't say anything and was still looking at me.
He didn't seem to want my dish. I took a chocolate from the bag.
"Here, if you don't want rice." I offered him.
"Take it Yuri... It's better if you don't eat." Felix said
while chewing. Haist! Really young!
Yuri still didn't speak but he slowly took the
chocolate from my hand. There was no reaction and he looked
at me. I smiled and continued eating. He also left
immediately even though I gave him something to eat. Maybe he didn't want anyone to join him?
We finished eating lunch. He cleaned up the
mess he had put on the table. I thought they would throw the
mess in the proper trash can but they just threw it outside in front of our room.
Wow! They threw it there so sloppily.
Because there was a pile of old stuff outside, the front of our room looked like
a trash can. Are these okay!
"Is that really where we're going to throw it?" I asked them.
"No.. Not there, it's just far away so it's fine." One of
them replied and left.
Oh, that's great! They've already trashed their building and turned it into a trash can
in front.
I sat quietly in my chair. I looked to my right side.
Ci-N really didn't come in. I couldn't help but worry.
"Felix!" I called.
"Hmm?" He answered. His mouth was full again. Scared!
"Do you have Ci-N's cellphone number?"
He took the cellphone from his pocket. "Yes. Why?"
I took my cellphone. "I'll get it." I said as I approached
him.
He showed me the screen of his cellphone and.. Wow!
His cellphone was the latest Samsung model. My cellphone was small but still had a keypad
.
I just copied Ci-N's number. Maybe
the men I saw following him had already hit him. I should have followed
them too so I could be sure.
I was about to go back to my seat but Felix stopped me.
"Oh?" I asked.
"Your cellphone number?" He asked while handing
me the phone.
I was really embarrassed by his phone.
I just put my number on his phone. I went back to my seat
and texted Ci-N's number. I just hope you reply.
To: Ci-N
Message: Jay-jay 2.. why didn't you come in?
I waited for the number I texted to reply but there was none. Maybe
she was taking a break. I just put my phone aside because our teacher arrived
next to Yuri.
What was that? I can't get Ci-N out of my mind. Maybe whatever happened
there. Even in our next subjects, she was still on my mind.
I don't like her! I'm just worried. She's still young,
so maybe she got into a fight when she dropped me off. It's annoying!
We're in the last subject with Ms. Smith and I'm still thinking about Ci-N.
"Ms. Mariano?" Ma'am called to me.
"Hello?"
"What's your middle name?" She asked while facing
her class record.
"Fernandez, please."
The whole class suddenly fell silent. It was as if I had said
something bad. They suddenly looked at each other and looked back.
I shuddered even though there was no cold air.
What's wrong?
Ma'am also stopped what she was doing and looked at me.
"What about you, Michael Aries Fernandez?"
"My cousin.
Suddenly the aura in the room became heavy. It was like a deluge. Why?
