Blood

Aries's POV


"Section E's PE today... Can we watch?" Mykel asked me.
Why was he informing me?
"You're welcome..."
"I'm sure Jay-jay is there... What does he look like when he does PE?"
Kiko said.
Why do I have this feeling that he's imagining it rude?
"Hey Kiko! That's still my cousin!"
"Why? There's a mass----"
"Babe!" Ella called me.
She came over to us and kissed me on the cheek.
"We're going to the gym.. We're having practice. Are you with us?" She asked.
Wait! To the gym? Section E's PE today. Keifer.
"Yeah.. Sure." I answered shortly.
Kiko and Mykel gave me meaningful looks. I knew
they understood why I agreed.
Ella walked to the gym and we followed. When we got
there, Ella almost stopped when she saw the entire Section E inside the
gym.
I immediately put my arm around her. I don't know why I do that but I know I have to.
Kiefer and Yuri's group looked at us with disdain.
"Look who's back.." Kiko said.
I looked at him before looking at who he was talking about.
David, he was so skinny. I looked at Keifer's group again
but someone else caught my eye.
Jay-jay.

Jay-jay's POV
"Class, grab a partner!" Our PE teacher ordered.
We were going to throw a ball first. The pegs were in pairs.
Of course, it was obvious that no one would partner with me so I pulled
Ci-N.
"Let's be partners!" I said while hugging her arm.
She quickly nodded while smiling. We
walked together and just barely sang while our heads were bobbing
like in movies or TV commercials. I felt like
Ci and I would be perfect partners or bffs.
I found a place for us and she followed. I grabbed
a ball. It was a red one that was a bit soft, often used in dodge
ball.
Ci-N and I started. At first we were just quiet in the rock
we were working on until a ball flew in front of me.
Woaahhh... Almost!
I almost got hit so I looked where it came from.
That's why the vipers were dead malicious.
"Did you see where that came from?" I asked Ci-N.
"Which one?" "
The one that passed in front of me!"
"H-No."
I just ignored it and it might have been an accident. We went back to
what we were doing. A rock here, a rock there, another rock and-----woaaahhhh!!
Another ball flew near my face! Not just one, but
two.
I looked again at the possible source. It wasn't an accident, it
was two.
I saw our classmates. They were looking at us in a bad way----
it turned out to be just me. They were holding balls. Different ones, even football, tennis,
olleyball and basketball balls.
W-why?
My heart suddenly started beating faster. I was feeling strange. This is not good either,
I feel like I know where I'm going.
I looked at Ci-N to ask for help but the shameless one
suddenly disappeared. Ci-N!
I just swallowed and fell back. Until they suddenly took their positions and
swung.
Son of... Run, Jay!
My legs don't want to move. Damn it!
"Section E!" Keifer shouted. He was holding a baseball and
he swung like before.
"Charge!" He shouted.
One word?! It hurts! Does it hurt that much? Pvtang'na! It hurts so much!
As Keifer shouted, they started throwing the ball at me.
I couldn't do anything but protect my head. Even though I ran,
it was no use.
I could hear their laughter and shouting.
I could even hear our teacher blowing her whistle. Even the students who were just hanging around
were shouting and shouting too.
My body fell on its own accord. I wasn't a pole to
just stand up no matter what hit or kick.
It hurt! Even my feelings were hurt!
You'll just think why you. Why? Did I do something
bad to them? They finished throwing stones and I looked at them.
They all just laughed at me. Ci-N was being held by Felix and the others
, I could see her worry. I also saw the other students looking
at me. That's when I realized that Aries and
his classmates were there.
Aries. If he hadn't been my cousin, would this have happened to me?
Is that the reason why they're doing this?
I don't know why but I want to cry. Maybe because
my body hurts from the balls hitting me or because I can't stop what
they're doing even though I really want to fight.
I'm still a girl. I get hurt easily, not just physically but also
mentally and emotionally.
I forced myself to stand up. I felt like I was being bullied and I didn't want to
eel that way. I was about to stand up when I saw Keifer walking over.
He was holding a baseball. Wait! Didn't he throw it? He was like
a pitcher in the way he threw.
He threw the ball and it happened too fast for
me to block or avoid it. The ball hit my nose directly causing
me to fall to the floor again.
"Uhg... Ouch..."
That's enough! I'm tired ahh! It hurts too much!
I lay there for a while, because I felt dizzy. It took a few seconds
before I forced myself to stand up again. I glared at Keifer but
he just smirked at me.
Just one punch! That's all I asked for! I was happy!
I felt like something was coming out of my nose. I felt like I had a cold,
maybe because I was crying so I had it.
I used my hand to wipe my nose. It would be embarrassing if
they saw it. That's why I still felt a
drip coming from my nose that didn't want to go away.
"Jay.." I heard Ci-N say.
I looked at him and the worry I saw in him was too much.
I suddenly got nervous.... I didn't want to but I looked at my hand that I used to
wipe it.
I wish I hadn't.
"Blood..."
Calm down Jay! It's just a little blood!
My heart is beating faster. My whole body is starting to tremble
. This is not good! It's happening again! I can't
breathe. It feels like something is choking me.
My vision is slowly getting blurry. I don't know if it's because of the
tears or because it's starting again.
It's like this. I feel like this before everything goes dark and
I can't remember the events.
Fight it Jay! It's just blood! Calm down!
No matter what I talk to myself, it doesn't seem to make sense.
"You're so stubborn! Follow what I say!"
"You're useless!" "
You're going to die! Swallow more!"
"Your mother is gone, so I can do whatever I want!"
There it is again. Memories that are not familiar to me. The voices
of men screaming in my mind over and over again. They were scary but
even so, I still felt like I had to fight.
I just stared at my hand, I could see it trembling.
I was starting to get attracted to the blood and it seemed like my hand had a mind of its own,
slowly moving closer to my mouth.
No! Jay! Don't! Listen! I
was almost drawing a line between my hand and my mouth when someone pushed
it away. It was like I woke up from a dream and looked at the person who did it.
Aries.
"Get your stuff and let's go home." His authoritative command.
I was confused. I couldn't move either. My legs didn't want to move.
"JAY!" Aries shouted angrily.
I was still a little surprised but I immediately followed. I quickly
ran back to the room.

Keifer's POV
He looked like he was upset. I didn't know his nose was bleeding.
But why was he reacting like that to the blood?
"Can you please not bring Jay-jay into this." Aries said. "Are you
affected?" I ask and smirk.
Nice! Extra time against you!
"No... I was just worried for you." He said and also smirked.
"..If I were you, I wouldn't let her see blood."
"When did you worry about us?"
"Just now... You too, you might be surprised and suddenly face the
deluge."
I crossed my arm. "I don't believe you and besides your cousin belongs to
Section E, so you don't care what we do to
him."
He chuckled. "Don't say I didn't warn you." He said and walked away.
Kiko followed him, giving David a sharp look.
Ella also followed.
She looked very disappointed in me. I can't blame her. I'm still a failure,
maybe that's the reason why she didn't choose me.
I'm sorry Ella...
"Keifer! Why did you have to do that?!" Ci-
N shouted at me angrily.
"It's an accident! I didn't know his nose was bleeding."
"Yeah right... That's what you said at your last baseball game." Ci-
N said.
My head was hot from what he said. Why did he have to remind me of that?
I immediately grabbed his shirt and glared at him.
"Don't talk to me... Maybe you've forgotten who
I am."
"I know but Jay----"
"What? Are you softening up?"
"Keifer... Put that down." Yuri said boredly.
I let go of Ci-N but my gaze was still on him.
"Don't let me get angry. Follow everything I say." I
look at everyone. "...Jay will stay at Section E!"
"What?!" Yuri asks in disbelief.
"You heard me. She will stay, I have a plan."
Thanks to Aries, I now know what to do with his cousin. I don't know that
I can use her. Like what I said, another ace against him.
