Chapter-100

Underground

Jay-jay's POV

"Thank you Jay! I'll replace it right away! Promise!" Drew told me. "Just replace it when you can." I
answered him. I already gave him the money he was borrowing. As I expected, my race was over. All I had left
was this week's allowance. It would have been better if Kuya had given me my allowance for next month early.
Drew left and said goodbye. I didn't know where he was going but I let him. Maybe he would have taken the
money to use. I went to the room and approached my seat. I was immediately surprised, because my seat
was gone. It had been replaced with another seat. I knew, I had a clue. The piece of my skirt that was stuck to
the seat. "Where is my seat?" I asked David. He didn't say anything but he pointed to Keifer's seat behind. I
went over there and looked. My seat was the one placed in the King's old seat. "Why is this here?" I asked Yuri
who was reading his notes. "I don't know.. it was there when I arrived." He answered me. I just scratched my
head. I couldn't understand the trip of these vipers and even my throne they were meddling with. Suddenly,
someone bumped into me from behind. I almost fell over. I immediately glared at the animal that did that.
Who else? The King of the Vipers. "Oh my!" "You're a big obstacle in the way." He replied to me. I thought he
would sit in his old place but he sat next to it. Just like the place we had yesterday. "From now on, you'll sit
there." Keifer said and Yuri and I looked at him at the same time. "..What?!" "Who else has joined you and
made you think of that?!" I asked him annoyed. "No one! Sit down now." He ordered. I just winced at what this
Abnormal was doing. I just put down my bag and didn't want to argue. I looked at Ci-N who was busy playing
with Eren. I looked at Mayo----our ninja classmate for a moment. It was as if the sky had fallen on him. He was
so angry and looked at Kit and Josh with a bad look. Maybe they had fought. Sir Alvin had arrived so I went
back to my place----my new place. Sir started teaching. There was a time when I caught Keifer looking at me.
Maybe he was sleeping again. But of course, he looked like he was already lost. He was wide awake and
looking at me in a bad way. You know what he was saying... Honestly, I'm bored here in this place. Because
there, Ci-N and I just hang out and then we trip over David. Here, besides Keifer's stare killing me and Yuri not
wanting to be disturbed while studying. He's the one who's working hard! I have no choice but to listen to Sir
Alvin. "Where's Drew?" Sir suddenly asked. I looked at the snakes. Drew wasn't there, I thought he'd come back
before Sir arrived. "Is he not there?" He asked again. "...When he comes in, tell him I need to talk to him." The
snakes answered. Our class with Sir was over. Our next teacher wasn't there so here they were making a fuss
again. I was just dumbfounded when I heard something interesting and distracting. "That Drew is at the
gambling den! Look!" Someone said. At the gambling den?! Didn't the fool go in to gamble? The shameless
one borrowed money from me. Don't tell him he used it to gamble. I'll beat him up if I ever get the chance. Oh
my! Oh my! "Do you have an enemy?" Yuri asked me. He seemed to notice that I was tripping. It was my fault
or hearing this. "Nothing... I was just thinking about something." "Is it about Percy?" Yuri asked directly. The
truth is,I was really trying to distract myself from thinking about Percy. It felt like it would be a long time before
he contacted me again. I shook my head and looked at our classmates. Hey Percy... What do you really need
rom me? Suddenly my phone rang and since Percy was on my mind. I immediately picked it up, wondering if
it was him calling. "Hello?" I said after answering. ["Uhmmm... Jay."] The person on the other line answered.
What I heard was someone else's voice. It was familiar to me but I couldn't remember who it was. "Who is
this?" ["Don't talk for a moment? It's Drew and I need help."] Wow! The idiot, he even managed to call me. He
probably won't be coming in today. "Why?" ["W-can I... Hey... Can I borrow it again? The money you gave me
earlier wasn't enough."] I raised one eyebrow. What's wrong with the money? Maybe they're right, the fool is
gambling. "Tell me first where you're going to use it."
["Emergency.."]
"What emergency?"
I heard him take a deep breath. It was as if he wasn't sure if
he was going to tell me.
["Y-because... I'm at KingsGround right now. Yuri and Keifer know
where we are but please don't tell them."]
KingsGround?
"Hey... I can't lend you money anymore because I don't have any more money... I'll
just find someone to lend you money to." I said and the call suddenly ended.
You're not being rude about that part. I was still looking at my phone when
I approached Yuri. Drew said he knew where KingsGround was.
"Yuri..." I called him. "Where is KingsGround?"
He looked at me seriously and it sounded like something I said was a bad word.
"Where did you hear about KingsGround?"
"D-Drew called me, said he was at KingsGround and
needed money."
Yuri suddenly regained consciousness. It was as if he suddenly
had a problem with what I said and that KingsGround.
He immediately approached his seat and was about to grab his bag but
I stopped him.
"Hey! What are you doing?!"
"I'm going to pick up Drew... The place he went to is dangerous."
I immediately grabbed my bag. "I'll come with you..."
"No... Stay here. It's too dangerous."
"I'll come with you!" I insisted.
Yuri did nothing. He whispered to Edrix for a moment before
pulling me away.
I thought we were going to the parking lot where their cars were but
we went straight to the gate.
He hailed a taxi. When we got in, he said something unfamiliar
to me.
"Listen... No matter what happens, don't let go of me."
He ordered.
I nodded. I felt like it was a very dangerous place
we were going to. I suddenly felt nervous.
We had been traveling for a few minutes. We were already quite far from
home. All I could see were large old buildings now.
If I'm not mistaken, this is the place where there are many bars and
beer houses. I once heard Rory mention this place.
The taxi stopped in front of the biggest and oldest
building. We got out and I immediately clung to Yuri.
Not that I was insulting anyone, but the people here seemed to be ignorant.
There was a woman whose chest was almost sticking out. There was a man who was very big
and smoking.
Yuri and I walked. We went to the side of that building.
We stopped in front of the closed iron door.
Yuri made a loud bang. The door opened and
Chitae appeared? The one in front of us looked like Chitae.
"Yuri boy! You've come to visit!" The man said.
Did he know Yuri?
"Is Tiger there?" Yuri asked.
Tiger? What kind of name is that?
"Of course he's there! Come in!" The man said and let us
in.
We were walking through a narrow hallway. The only light we had was the light from the Exit sign
. We walked a long way until
we entered another door.
Is this a disco?
The music was very loud. There were a lot of people dancing and I could smell the
alcohol. There were other girls on the stage dancing.
The rest of them had no one to lift.
What was that?
Yuri tightened her grip on my hand. We walked some more
until we reached the steel stairs.
We hadn't even taken three steps when we were suddenly blocked by huge
men.
"High school is not allowed here!" One of them said.
"Let us through! Don't you recognize me?!"
Yuri said angrily.
The men laughed a little. "You, yes! But the one you're with,
no!"
"Let us through if you don't want trouble here!"
Yuri threatened, causing the men's eyebrows to meet.
"You're not the one who gives orders----"
"Yuri!" Someone shouted from the top of the stairs.
He was wearing a tiger print jacket. He was wearing shades and
his hair was the color of corn. He looked like the one who sang Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen.
He signaled to the men in front of us and they immediately made
way for us.
"Yuri! Yuri! Yuri!" The man said to Yuri while
hugging him tightly.
"Where's Drew?" Yuri asked directly.
He smiled at us and motioned for us to go inside. Even though we seemed
hesitant, we still went in.
It was like an office and its walls were made of glass. This was a reason to see
the people dancing outside.
We saw Drew on the sofa. He was quiet and obviously a little scared.
"Drew..." I called to him.
He looked at me and was surprised to see Yuri and me. But before he
could speak, the man with corn hair grabbed him by the shoulders.
"Do you have a female friend? As far as I know, Section E is all men.
" He said and looked at me.
I hid slightly behind Yuri. He looked creepy.
"Don't be afraid... I'm Tiger, the owner of this place. You?"
He said while surrounding us.
"J-jay-jay..." I replied.
"Nice to meet you..." He told me before sitting next to Drew.
Drew was a little surprised but that wasn't what I was worried about. It was obvious
rom his look that he wanted to leave here and it was like he was begging
us.
"What do you need anyway?" Tiger asked us.
"Drew... Who does he owe you? I'll pay."
Yuri said.
"Pay is my favorite word. That's the only thing I don't charge money for
. You know that? You used to hang out here once."
I looked at Yuri. Yuri used to hang out in this place? The look
of this place, how long did it take?
"Drew can't handle it." He replied to Tiger.
"Who said Drew? You said you'd pay..."
The tiger stood up and immediately opened the door near
his office table. "...You know what to do... But, the girl you were with
will pay for what she did." He pointed at Drew.
He entered the room and the three of us were left inside. To be honest,
I wasn't afraid of him. I just couldn't help but think about
what he said.
"Yuri... What did he mean that you used to hang out here?"
I opened.
"Jay... Let's not talk about that for now." He answered me.
He seemed to be panicking. He was clearly annoyed by the situation.
"Why didn't you say that it was because of Ella that you started hanging out here?"
Drew said.
We were both stunned and Yuri and I looked at each other.
What did Drew mean?
Author's Note: I know it's not enough... It should really be 10 chapters, but I just couldn't
handle it.
I was just going to say goodbye to you. My next
update will be long. Because I need to focus on my work. You know
, training is almost over, so I need to get serious----even though
I don't want to.
Like before, I'll let you know again but I promise I'll make up for it in my next
update. I hope you understand...
